I bought my first Dior 5 Couleurs palette way back in 1989 when I was 21. I've always loved them and they've released some stunning ones over the years. This collection hasn't launched yet here in the UK, but the moment it does I'm buying the Eden Roc palette, it's beautiful and it's so nice to see a palette that doesn't contain any red or pink shades ... 😂 I think the Victoria Beckham eyeliner in Navy Noir would be a perfect pairing with this palette.

Bronzers are a repeat I actually picked both quints up, looking gorgeous as always
I am so glad I didn’t miss anything with the bronzers. There’s some new Nars bronzers out too that are basically repeats but are just minus the talc and I’m very iffy on that. What do you think?

There’s just something about the brown or the cocoa shades that kind of take the blue so the blue doesn’t take over.

The Blue Velvet Quint Dior released last year was a surprising hit with everyone due to applying more on the grey side. I bought it myself and love using it. They did add a plum shade and a silver too, which helps to break up the blue. I also use those shades as blush and highlighter. Nothing to be afraid of and you can just start off lightly and build up over time after gaining more confidence.💖

You know I love the Dior quints, and this is the one I’m most interested in. I’m glad they’re growing on you…I’m sure you have quite a collection of them!
They really are growing on me Sheila. I just never used to like them. But I always bought the ones that had like a black shade in it or too much of a silver sparkly red shade. I think I’m doing better with my choices now ha ha
I LOVE Dior!!!! Beautiful pallette. I haven't got it yet, but did pick up p one of the limited shades of the Dior Addict Lipsticks in shade Diorlita. Those lipsticks are my weakness and I own quite a few!

I love the Addict Lipstick formula for my extremely dry lips. It doesn't slide off either. I just picked up the four Lip Cases they released and snuck in the Dior 8 and Tarot. I still have some more to buy eventually to fill the other Lip Cases from last year! I haven't seen any new Addicts on our website in Australia, but that's nothing new. They may just be slow getting here or maybe not at all. The shadows have yet to drop, so maybe it might be released after Easter?💖

Tiffany! I’m having fun putting a little bit, just a little bit of the highlight in with some of the concealer just for the inner corner of the eye.
I would also like to try a blue! I've been waiting for the Lisa Eldridge palettes to come back into stock and get the one w/the blue but they have been out of stock since launch.... I do like this one may try it! I like how you just added it to the corners!
For me, this is the only way I can wear a color like that. Just in the corners. I can’t do it across the whole lid. No matter what I just end up feeling like a clown. Not that it looks that way when other people do it. I just mean on me.
Sofia from Sofia sees beauty talked me out of purchasing this quint NOW you’ve talked me back into obsessing over it. The blue in this quint is not that vibrant, more greyish when blended out very wearable on blue, blue-green eyes. Haha, I love it! I love all my Dior quits except tutu but that is because the cool/grey/purple tones in this quint don’t flatter my skin tone. I will be making my order for the quint and bronze lip maximiser in the next month or so when they collection is available here.
Rebecca the bronzers are a re-promote, same product just different package. If you don’t have any shade yet I suggest you pick a shade up with the cute packaging. The bronzer is fantastic! I have shade 05.
Esther! I am kind of glad that I talked you back into it because I think you’re going to love it. You’re exactly correct. It doesn’t scream blue. It’s a very workable blue and for me to say that takes a lot because I usually am not attracted to Blue. Yes. I realize right after filming that these are the same bronzers different packaging. So I’m kind of glad that I skipped them but they are indeed gorgeous as is the new packaging.

That is the Dior lipstick and then I put a persona cosmetics gloss over the top. Their Gloss is gorgeous. It is all listed in the description bar to click on and see 💕
The brushes oddly work better than any brushes that I have. I had tossed so many in the Dior pallet because they are usually the brushes that come with eye pallets are crap..lol...not these ! Hold onto them and try it.

The Dior bronzer is the best bronzer I have ever had (I have not the volume of products that many of you have). It is absolutely gorgeous, being a mineral bronzer it embraces the skin in that natural manner. It has a bonne mine effect, which I like, but you can build it up. It stays on my face without moving even for 14 hours with no issues (probably it would stay even longer, but I do take it off at some point!). It is one of my absolute top make up products, including eye shadows, lipsticks, etc. Since I have that one, I rarely use any other bronzer that I have.
I often use the applicators that come with the quints and I think they work really well. How is the staying power of this quint? I know it is one of the more powdery formulas by Dior, not the regular one possibly.
This is a fantastic and informative comment. I am very appreciative of it. I think it is super helpful for this community. I find these eyeshadows are staying beautifully. I have worn the look for 12 hours and had no trouble with it fading.

Rebecca, I do not like the small applicators included in eyeshadow palettes. However, I was once advised that they were good for touch ups throughout the day but I remain unconvinced 😆💕

I picked up the Eden Roc quint, but passed on the rest. The bronzers are re-promotes and are not my favorite bronzer formula. I passed on the highlighters since I don’t go for coral or golden (I’m team pink all the way). I’m really happy I picked up the quint. I’ve loved it in all of the reviews!
The Eyeshadow is so beautiful and I am so relieved to hear that the bronzer is just a repeat. I did not miss anything. There is a new bronzer reformulation of the Nars Laguna but without talc. I’m on the fence about that as well
Very pretty palette. I really like the blue in this palette. I like that it looks, to me, to be a deep blue grey. I love your use of the blue. 🤩😊
You know what, Jan? I think you're right. It's got a lot of grey in it. That would explain my tolerance of it!!!
Very beautiful look. I gave in 😂 and got this quint. Usually i dont like them, because most of them too pigmented. But this one is just what i like easy to use , has that beautiful translucency and light pigmented . I passed on bronzer. I have too many, and i am on low buy , for makeup, this year, so it has to be something very unique and interesting m for me to give in. Now i still contemplating am i going to get Hermes bronzer. Its expensive, but Hermes formula is amazing. If its anything as their blushes, it would be amazing. The problem i have with these, its hard to decide on the colour. I like my bronzers warm , with some terracotta, like Sisley touche de soleil. I dont think i saw your video on Hermes bronzer🤔 Have you picked up one? Have a blessed day 🙏💗

I don't wear color that often but for some reason if a pallet has blue or green in it. It gets my little heart pitter patterning and I get so excited. I think this is a very pretty pallet, it's the 1st one Doir has me interested in
Kymberly! I completely agree. Though I’m not usually interested in blue, this pop of color really caught my attention and I was right. That’s why I was trying to explain that I don’t generally wear blue eyeshadow but this blue eyeshadow I was interested in. It’s just nestled in among the neutrals.
What a beautiful look. Last year me, would already would order, but new me, hmm i dont know. I am on a low buy for makeup. That blue is definitely calling my name, but i think i can get similar look, with Dior denim or blue velvet blue. I actually loved when i saw that some ladies, put the lightest eye shadow over the blue one, it makes the blue really very vivid , bright blue. So for now i am skipping. I will experiment with Dior previous blue ones, and light golden over it, maybe from 2021year Dior Holiday or Chanel pearl Le blanc one. If i cant get the look i want, then i will buy😳🤪😂 Have a blessed day🙏💗
But ya know what? I think that's really smart actually. You are experimenting to see if you can achieve the look you'd want from this palette with other palettes that you already own and then only buying if you need to. It makes perfect sense and it's smart shopping, Giedre!
I think blue eyeshadow looks lovely on you Rebecca. I'm very drawn to this palette as I'm always attached to a blue shadow. How did you find the formula? Was it easy to blend?
I really like it it was impactful but super easy to blend and the colors looked beautiful when coupled. As you see, when I put blue over the brown color nothing got muddy. Just played very well together.

This Dior palette is GORGEOUS - I haven't been a fan of blues for a long time, but I might just splurge on this one - WOW! Maybe it's too early in spring to think of a summer bronzer, but eventually you might want to pick it up?

Looks pretty on you. But, I have the Vega palette, and will stick with that for now, for my blue looks, for my turquoise eyes, lol. Oh, my Chanel blush just came in, & OMG it is 😂gorgeous. I can’t believe how beautiful it is! I was hoping it would show up on me, and oh yes, it does. I think this is going to be my favorite blush of all time! It actually looks like it will go with many, many looks, and outfits, and is going to Aruba with me this weekend. On another note, I have 11 items in my Sephora basket from your link so far, 😂. Please Rebecca, always more Dior! When I first saw these Quints, the Rivage reminded me straightaway of the Coral Paisley from the Velvet Quints released last year that have the same shades. I also picked up Blue Velvet, which is a more subtle grey/blue than bright. @Allfeisty collects every Dior Quint that has ever been released and reviewed the Rivage on her Channel. She felt these were incredibly sheer and light and they certainly look much less pigmented than all of mine, even the Backstage. I bought every L/E Quint that came out last year, except for the Holiday pair. They include several peach shades, the blue and the browns are always covered and none of them are as sheer as these. I can't go sinking anymore ships, so it's an easy pass for me. I think this is a good palette to ease you slowly into using a blue shadow. The Blue Velvet from last year was incredibly popular, which surprised me. What I wouldn't give to see you apply that one! I was about to go to sleep when I saw your notification and couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was only about an hour ago that I re-watched your review of the Backstage Eye Palettes in Khaki and Burgundy Neutrals where you vehemently stated that you hated the Dior Quints! My favourites are the Backstage Eye Palettes, which I love so much I've collected them all, yet I also like the Quints as well. I haven't gone into any from the regular line but I find many quite similar and nothing I haven't already got, except for the Denim Quint. I love the formulas from all of Dior's shadows that I've tried and they've always held up brilliantly. As pretty as these look, I don't need them to think of the South of France as I've already been there! Last year, I tried two of Dior's Coloured Lip Balms, (not to be confused with the Glow Balm), in a brown and coral shade. Although, they felt nice on the lips, the colour just wasn't there. So I ended up with two very expensive lip balms that I'm trying to use up to refill with a lipstick. Just a warning as I saw they had another released with this collection. I've never used Dior's Bronzer, so can't help you there. A big fan of the Addict Lipsticks though. Very hydrating and best of all don't slide off the lips. I've got two coming after Easter with my other two Lip Cases in Dior 8 and Tarot. They've go so many great shades. @@NotFitforPrintBeauty Your next step is to put it on without the brown underneath. That's your next challenge! Slowly but surely. I don't wish to spoil things for you, but other Quints in future will most likely be more pigmented. I think these are softer due to the Summer theme. At least it's a step in the right direction. If you still have the Miss Dior Quint available, that's a great one. I love it! Yes, it has pink and browns and the most stunning topper shade that sparkles every colour of the rainbow under differing light. It's a gorgeous light palette. The Spring/Summer 2023 was also a lovely soft palette. Most of the Quints released online have been brighter in colour, so these nice softer ones were a welcome relief.💖

I will have to go on Diors website and look at the other pallet. I really haven’t been cosmetic shopping at all this year, but Dior always peaks my interest.
I’ve stopped shopping at Ulta. My local store is always a mess. Associates have No clue about the products. And shipping is a disaster to my area. Lost packages. Numerous items missing from orders. Broken items due to pathetic protection when filling the order. They just throw items into the box and use no padding. Call customer service and they try to help, but follow through down the line is about nonexistent. No more for me.

Wow! That is terrible! And the thing is, they are getting more and more high-end brands but if they don’t keep their single retailers in line, they are going to lose customers. This is not good news. And I bet there are a lot of people out there that share your opinion!

I haven't tried Guerlain but I've heard they are very pigmented. I've seen it sheared out to where it looks like a grey too but if built up, it can retain the stain appearance of the bright blue it shows in the pan in the Denim Collection. Rebecca cheated with this blue shade by laying down the brown first and then lightly adding the blue over the top. I do hope she has the confidence one day to wear it alone. It looks a quite muted blue that verges towards a grey, just like the Blue Velvet from Velvet Quints released last year. They show up more of a grey and quite beautiful, I had to try it! These two new Quints look extremely light and sheer, unlike any I own.💖

I love a good Dior quint! I know you don’t like blue but that color really made your eyes pop. Overall, this is one of my favorite looks that you’ve done in awhile.

You know how I feel about the unfairness towards Canada by the make up industry. It’s attached to the US, people, why do they have such trouble getting make up? It’s so unfair
Aren't you able to order from the Dior US website? I quite understand your frustration. I'm from Australia and we never know what we might get. They've been fairly good with keeping up with everyone else, just a bit slower. Hopefully, you may have someone who may order it for you instead.💖
@@krisushi1 I am not sure whether I can order from Dior US, because most of the time they just don’t send it to Canada for some unknown reasons, or the Canadian custom just taxes you almost as much as you pay for the item 🤪 So I’m scared to order anything from outside of Canada 🤪
@@antonialu8958 That's terrible! Isn't there a Dior website in Canada? I know as much as anyone that it's not always easy to get into a store. My nearest one is a four hour drive away! Everything I order is online. It hasn't landed in Australia last time I checked yesterday. They're still showing the Riviera and Bayadère Quints from this time last year! Plus the Autumn and Holiday releases. Can't forget Mitzah either. A bit slow I would say. If you knew someone in the US who could send it to you, it would make it much easier. Have them wrap it in gift wrapping as a present, therefore no taxes. I do hope it all works out for you. It's hardly fair, especially being right next door to the US. Crossing fingers for you.💖🐇🐣💐
@@krisushi1 Thank you so much for taking time reading and replying my comments 🥹 I checked Dior Canada website, it only shows the regular line of eyeshadow palettes. There is no limited edition ones. I also live a couple hours drive away from any Dior boutiques, so I do online shopping for my makeup, too😃 I don’t have any friends in the US, unfortunately. I just moved to Canada 3 years ago living in the countryside, I barely have friends here haha 🤪 I will check on Dior Canada website from time to time, perhaps one day some limited edition items will magically show up😃 Thank you so much once again❤️
