i think what i really love about the fivem survive the hunts so far is alex getting to geek out over cars you dont normally get to see in GTA swiftly followed by nicking a fast thing from a hunter and going on a sploding spree while the hunters chase thier own tails lol. its a nice change of pace from the super chill not really knowing what to talk about cause the cars have been seen a million times since GTA never adds new cars to traffic style of some of the pre fivem hunts
I'm someone who can't be bothered with cars offline
but Alex is such a joy to watch when he geeks out that I subscribed to this channel just because of that
I hope there will be a lot more moments where he can be silly and geeky ^^
One thing I love about STH is that the crew is always trying new stuff to keep it fresh over the years
That, and the unfamiliar cars add some unpredictability, which is fun.

A Few suggestions:
Now that you have a FiveM server, perhaps you guys can consider a chaos mod style STH? Where every maybe 3 or 5 minutes, a person who's been designated "game master" just applies a random effect. The effects could be whatever is possible using the mods you can get; whether it be flipping all cars upside down, changing car colours, teleporting you a few meters, changing the weather... whatever's possible. This could just be a one-off, obviously, if you really don't want to keep adding and removing mods.
Also, there's a pop-up that comes up at the end saying you destroyed all prius'. Perhaps there could be a pop-up after each one is destroyed saying how many have been destroyed, and how many are left to be destroyed, e.g "Prius Remaining: X/Y".
Good idea but I think that should be reserved for the bonus "No Limits STH" not the standard series of balanced STH games. I'd rather them use FiveM for implementing their rules as game mechanics rather than just gentleman's agreement, and we can also get the Chaos Mode No Limits STH which would be spectacular, I think that'd be best case use for FiveM.

I actually have been hoping that STH would move to a dedicated 5M for *_LESS_* chaos. More predictable car spawn sets. Real World Cars. Cruise Control. Better traffic and pedestrian AI. Fuel tanks, Fuel usage and Petrol Stations (Does this car I stole I have enough gas for a long chase, or do I need to risk getting petrol?)
As far as the chaos mod goes it will crash your game very easily especially if you have lots of ppl on the server

That Neon was a fantastic choice for STH. Its Sumo credentials really paid off.
I suspect that's where the missing dark matter is hiding... in the Neon's bumpers.

I've religiously turned on STH since episode 10 or so when I discovered you guys. Has it really been more than four years since then?
Damn, time flies when I'm having fun with FailRace.
Think I've been here since ep 8 or so. 2017 was when I started watching Failrace and that was because of his DTD series on Beam.
Only Alex could have everything go wrong, including having an NPC carjack him, and still come out on top. Best StH yet!
i think you should be allowed to cycle through character models until you get the one you want while changing character. too may names to remember.

Alex driving jowos car is a bit suspicious - its stupidly quick for a 'non-supercar'!
That, the Elegy pace car and the Buffalo STX are likely quicker than the Neon is lol (assuming vanilla performance for the STX and Elegy)

I know neil came on one of these, but it would be awesome if your whole crew joined in on this, i know logistically thats a nightmare, but that could be an amazing STH.
There was already like 16 of us or so, so it would be absolutely awful lmao, and having several new people at once probably wouldnt be ideal anyways

31:40ish: I think the "only one change" rule should be interpreted as "you can only change once but that once you can change until you find one you like" as opposed to the literal interpretation you used here where you're stuck with whatever you pick even if you don't like it.
I also think he should still be able to change by walking into a hairdresser/clothing store (if they still work? Don't know what the server settings are), just like with going into a LS Customs for his car. That way he can try to change his look before the hunters are released and save the two, or if he needs to change after he's used them he can risk it.
@@Leafsdude I feel like that's something he's just kinda never thought of, actually. I don't think he's ever mentioned that as being forbidden.
@@SpawnofChaos He's changed his hairstyle before (I think once). I just don't know if they disallowed it when modding added the option to choose a fully new character.
@@Pystro I think he might just think it's too risky as you need to be on foot for a minute or so to achieve it. Cars parked outside would be out of place for most places I suspect, and walking out of one would be like driving out of a car park, only guaranteed to be a player vs the possibility of it being a npc and leaves him way more vulnerable, especially if his car despawns or there's no traffic/poor choice of traffic going past.

Agreed, and it is definitely a far better car in GT5. The real Bricklin was thoroughly awful in almost every way.
The siren sound is an ambient sound when a vehicle with siren capability is in the distance. Even if the siren isn't on, you'll hear it in the distance. It's distinctively different from regular sirens and sounds more ambient. 17:50
At the end you vanished like a ghost, seen from the hunters' perspective. Brilliant glitch.
That neon was an absolute tank! That run at the end was a seat gripper!

Im so glad that you took that second neon. If I have a favorite car in gta, its probably the neon. It doesnt have the top speed, and it certainly doesnt have the grip, but it more than makes up for it in the brutal acceleration and break neck breaking. It has a bit of a learning curve, but you can absolutely haul ass in this thing, and drift every corner.
Youve done a fine job showing it off, thank you for sharing the joy of the neon.

That Neon is possibly your perfect car for STH - its incredible acceleration and sheer weight means you got out of so many bad situations so quickly they didn't have time to re-act to it all.
STH with mods is even better, top work Failrace!!!!!!

Outstanding driving in this episode from Alex, but an even more special mention for whomever was driving the pink Porsche. They tracked Alex excellently, considering they couldn't corner as well, but stayed patient and made it all up in straight lines. As for the Top Gear camper Citroën, that was bumptastic. Great episode! Dying to find out if or who got wiped out swapping cars at the lights with Alex?!?! A.I or Hunter??

Oh, the swap at the lights was Russkiy.
The game had an issue with showing the message that Alex killed him.
Could also be due to potentially a guard shooting at Russkiy, as there seemed to be multiple people shooting at him, strangely enough.
If you look and listen closely, you can see that Russkiy was being shot at with a pistol.
Wait, there's a Citroen of Top Gear in FiveM? Someone push that over a cliff!

I really hate those moments where you don't know what to do.. When you're yelling "I don't know what to do", I am yelling "just walk away!" or "just grab a car you fool!". And usually it takes a lot of minutes (and a lot of frustration on my end) before you actually do exactly that 😂 Fun episode though, thank u 😅
DAMN EP 69 already, it's really been going for that long uh? And yet to this day it since episode 1 (or even before that, if we count the early Manhunts), it's been one of my all time favorite series here on YT.

That was one survive the hunt that started bad and ended well.
I really like its now modded, that makes this gamemode even better.
I watched frame by frame at 12:21 and you definitely selected the rifle, but you were still in the middle of the door-close animation so maybe that prevented you pulling out your rifle. I've also noticed that GTA just randomly doesn't respond when you select a weapon, even if you're not in an animation that could prevent it, sometimes GTA just ignores your inputs it's really annoying.
I think his confusion was that it wasn't a hunter, or at least nothing indicated that a player had been killed.
"Shadow of The Blimp" would be a great name for this episode. Or any episode, really.

I’m so glad FailRace still does these hunt-games. I used to watch these all the time for years now to pass time since they’re so long yet so fun.

I wish we'd see the return of the helicopter to have some movie like chases, old survive the hunts felt really action packed with blimp , helicopter etc chasing.

I would totally love more FiveM modded traffic car Survive The Hunts. Seeing the Neon, Asterope RS, and Ruiner ZZ8 be used to run was super cool

There seemed to be some random bugginess in this one that didn't seem to occur last time. Would be neat if the mods could add more AI functions like being able to yell at hunters or do the AI idle animations. (Reading a paper, looking at a phone, etc...)

Since we are on fiveM now. Would be cool to have themed STH. Like 60s or 70s cars. Mods that expand some parts of the map. Even making all hunters be cops or military.

Can for sure say that the Siren is either someone running around turning it on near Alex or its a add-on car. or "Ambience Sirens" Used to have same issues a while back when i was doing Fivem-RP server stuff, Anyway Yay for the funny number.

The Hunters are also limited in this regard, so it evens out.
I like the keeping track of the cars locations. Definitely hated the parts where you just looked around the map and couldn't find them.
Slow start to the first half of the survive the hunt but second half was chaotic and and funny finish

Nearly 70 episodes in, haven’t missed a single one, I reckon if you did another chance like what was meant to happened for the Xmas episode (where the winner couldn’t do it) to be involved in the survive the hunt and picked me… I reckon I’d give it a very good shot at it 👍 keep up the amazing videos… Oh, and also have loved being involved in the races on your streams you do on Sunday, been great fun 👍
