Agreed. Generally, the Black Community's business owners have a serious victim mentality, and they do believe that the rest of the community owes our business to them regardless of how poor the product and/or customer service is, and expect black customers to just put up with it and pay them. Plus, black people in general don't know how to handle power and influence.
He was honest. Way kinder than he should've been. And as an ATL resident this is the bull we deal with consistently. So we're thankful for him showing what is really like.
hi.. the fact that people are still eating from.. restaurants.. any restaurant.. no matter where in the 'united' states.. is just so very crazy to me.. be blessed
He's not hurting Black Businesses, that means ATL Black Businesses need to step up their damn game!!! He's always transparent about what he does and how he moves. He conducted himself exactly like any food critic would. They're there to see you in your everyday element not the "Dog and Pony" show.
Exactly. Many times, the only thing black businesses bring to the table is their talent (cooking, arts, etc.) but no business or customer relationship management acumen.
The Real Milk and Honey was trying to be cute in their response, and assumed that everyone would understand the Atlanta dining scene vibe the way it now stands.
Just because a business is Black owned doesn't mean that they should not be criticized. The owners of "The real milk and honey" were very arrogant, they were not sorry about what happened. I know when I visit ATL I will not be going to that restaurant....
His response was worse than the review... He did it to himself, just like other black businesses. The owner showed too much sass rather than business acumen.. & it's plenty of other spots in the city that can provide better service ✌🏾
@@SirenScorpio A lot of this is because most of these business owners do not have any formal education in business, finance, supply chain operations, and customer relationship management, which is very important to the success and sustainability of any business. The "Black Entitlement" and pretentiousness of a lot of these restauranteurs in the Atlanta area where I live is off the charts, and I will not be patronizing them until these problems change.
@@melaninmoxiellc963 As you should & I hear you. You make a good point but that lack of formal education is a lot of business owners stories all across the country. So others prove it can be figured out, if they really wanted... It begs the question, do they have passion for that business or are they just in it for the money? 🤔 The common sense of treating ppl how you want to be treated (at minimum) should be understood when they choose to be in the service industry without paying for a course. That goes hand in hand. Plus word of mouth being the best advertisement is long standing business 101 knowledge as well. Now I'm not gonna throw all of the Atlanta restaurants under the bus cause as long as I've been in Atlanta (20 yrs), I know there are places that do better. But I have noticed the problem of lackluster customer service in various industries the whole time I've been here. Like you have to fight with ppl to get them to do their job especially when they try that "well technically, we don't have to".. that phrase taught & showed me a lot about what certain businesses/ppl deem acceptable. It will definitely make folks change up with whom and how business is conducted/control the power of the money spent. It's on the business if they wait til the bottom line is affected before they change. 🤷🏾♀️
I support him. Keith shared his experience. Some businesses don’t have good customer service and they need to be held accountable for poor service--especially by their own people, since their people are mainly the ones who support them. If blacks people remain silent, they will continue to be disrespected.
@@davidsmith3268 Then when they shit go under then yall same people gonna be saying black folks don't support black business, if you don't want to run a good respectable business then don't expect to last
Black ATL Restaurant owners and staff NEED to be humbled for the way they treat their own people. All those ridiculous rules and poor customer service just because they can. People need to stop giving them business.
Exactly, what bothers me about the real milk and honey is that they made a video to seemingly acknowledging him while stating they don't know who he is. They made the video probably edited it, then press the send/post button. Very petty.
*“Black Business”* should stay on its toes and strive to provide great products, services, and experiences to ensure that they can’t be “exposed”. Non-Black establishments get exposed all the time.
It's really a problem of black business owners doing the bare minimum and having a false sense of black entitlement due to the community's collective struggles. It's quite narcissistic, with the lack of self awareness as a business/owner/staff, blame shifting, defection, gaslighting, and victim mentality.
I appreciate Keith. He has helped so many folks & businesses. Many restaurants, lounges , salons, etc with piss poor customer service and ridiculous rules thrive because folks put up with it. If folks stop spending their money with them they will stop and treat people like they appreciate their business.
I found out about Keith literally yesterday and I LOVE THIS! this is amazing. buying black seems like a minimum excuse to keep a business running. a black owned business needs to be on par or surpass the counterpart businesses. accountability, audits, and constructive criticism are the pillars of growth.
Same here. My wife and sister-n-law told me about him on Monday. I watched a few of his videos and don’t see any evidence of attacking or tearing down any businesses. They don’t about the businesses he saved.
Big problem is they are so stuck on black owners. It does not matter the ethnicity that owns the place. Is the food and hospitality up to par. Division has never been good for business.
We as a people have to stop feeling like being held accountable is equal to tearing someone down. Constructive criticism is needed for growth. We need to get back to trying to improve things an do better. Settling into mediocrity has been to our detriment.
I appreciate him honestly. Black businesses need to do better. Period. Unfortunately, our businesses are usually known for having a lack of professionalism and customer service.
Facts I went visited my hometown try to support a local soul food spot they were so rude when I tried to place a take out order over the phone everything was way overpriced. Then I went in to a different spot it took an hour just to get water. 2 hours for food and no refills. They were not even busy. They were just standing around talking. You can tell it was all friends and family.
@@BLOCKBOI3RD Black folks overprice food then expect other black folks to freely spend at the establishment. Not I! Small portioned, mediocre meatloaf and spaghetti should never be $60.
@@glidkomer That's because a lot of these businesses have no formal education in business (front office/back office), finance, customer relationship management, and supply chain operation management which determines whether businesses pay retail or wholesale for their materials/ingredients and can or cannot afford to pass on the savings by reasonably pricing their products. And for those who do have the education and still commit these mistakes, it out of pure greed and the fact that they don't know how to handle power, influence, and therefore act like they've never had anything before.
The elitist mentality out here in the Atlanta area is very real, and people such as myself who live here see it daily and it's terrible. I've only been here for a year from California (where the majority of the country's wealth resides) and have worked in very exclusive areas such as Napa, CA that's predominantly white, and even they don't come across with the pretentiousness, elitist, arrogant behavior in their businesses that black people in ATL seem to do so notoriously. In fact, ATL has lost its southern hospitality.
Took my wife to a brunch spot in ATL, they had a *TWENTY PERCENT* service charge (fine print said it was for the kitchen staff) automatically added, and it was NOT gratuity for the server. We tipped 20% on top of the 20% service charge. Literally paid 49% of our tab in "extra" charges (tax was 9%). Bill came to $140 for breakfast. On top of that, the server stood over us while we completed the check, because the poor girl was so used to being stiffed since most people think the service charge WAS her tip, or they refused to tip on top of already paying 20%. Poor girl said she was quitting.
It’s not his fault that the restaurants didn’t provide the level of customer service that he’s used to! Keith never gives bad reviews if it’s not warranted!
Most of us try to support black owned and get scammed, treated poorly, or unprofessional. Not all but there are alot of black business trying to take advantage of their own people. We have to have a higher standard and hold ourselves to it
I agree with you 100%. And as a Californian who's only been living in the ATL area for about a year, the high number of black-owned business scams I've run into made my head spin to the point where I'm actually afraid to do business with blacks, and if I did it would only be after I thoroughly vetted their business and got a ton of non-black references (because I know how folks down here stay lying and caping for each other just for being black).
@@melaninmoxiellc963 I feel you. We only get better by holding ourselves accountable. Most of us think we should blast all other races when they slipping but have a blind eye to our own. We don't grow that way. We gotta start living to advance not just survive.
Keith has helped so many Black businesses throughout multiple cities. Unfortunately, ATL has restaurants that do not have good customer service. I could see the same happening frankly in DC
Keith Lee comes across as a really humble person, and I enjoy his food reviews. I didn't detect any malice in his reviews, I just think he was telling us about his personal experiences. And to be quite frank, I can relate to those experiences.
He is giving his honest opinion. He didn't use foul language and act disrespectful he was honest. These restaurants should have a box where you can make suggestions and let the manager know what your concerns are. What ever your business is, treat people the way you would want to be treated.
People want to avoid accountability at all costs, imagine being mad that someone is sharing their experience but not being mad at who made the experience bad 🙃
Milk and Honey responded emotionally instead of professionally, then had nerve to backtrack. Nah, you said what you said and meant it. Emotions never lie.
I see nothing Keith Lee did wrong. He was honest dnd respectful, but death threats is crazy. Kandi sounds crazy. Add more staff on the weekends where your money flows more. She is very delusional.
I don’t agree that Kandi sounds crazy! I’ve been to several restaurants in different cities even some that aren’t as big and busy like Atlanta and they as well don’t have To Go orders on the weekend! Also my cousin is a Chef and she talks about the size of different restaurants kitchens and how many people are suppose to BE in the kitchen working! Hiring more people won’t solve the problem it would actually create crowding and chaos in the kitchen 🤷🏽♀️
@shereedavis5255 that is complete BS. Increasing the quantity of workers in order to grow the service in the kitchen is essential to make money. All successful restaurants, especially high end have takeout, and even on the weekends, especially due to the fact white collar workers often still work on weekends as well. For a restaurant not to cover their bases and to have an essential service on options on the weekends, shows they are nowhere near legitimate as they think they are and they will continue to lose money to white businesses that are willing to go above and beyond to accommodate you.
The Real Milk and Honey sitting around on a couch with shades on dismissing the reviews of their business and disrespecting the reviewer is confirmation that they are unprofessional. Everyone should not be running a business. That response will be the single reason why new people don’t visit their restaurant.
In my opinion, this was very much needed. There is a high level of bougieness here in Atlanta now. People act stuck up. Moreso our own black people. I'm born and raised here and I've seen the shift. Everything is a vibe now. People just want to go to these places, take pictures and make videos and go. I had someone who I was talking to ask me to take them to that milk and honey and I don't even eat breakfast like that, but I went on the website and it didn't make me want to go. It just seems crowded to me. Most of these businesses treat their business as a quick flip. They don't care about service, they don't care about the quality of the food, all they care about is the money. They already have the majority of the restaurants and bars looking like a club. Charging for everything including parking. Then on top of it get shitted on with the customer service. This is a normal experience for regular people. And they don't care cause for every one bad review there's 5 people claiming that it was the best experience that they ever had. And they're just saying it for clout.
As a successful IT professional from California who moved to the ATL area a year ago, the bougieness is so uncalled for and you can tell that black people down here don't know how to handle success, influence, and any level of power. It's like taking them from the projects right into a Bel Air, CA mansion...they lose all sense of humility and respect, have a ton of clout-chasing hangers-on, and act like they've forgotten their humble beginnings, which is a sign of unresolved poverty-induced trauma. Our community needs a lot of therapy!
Black Businesses Hate Accountability . And it sucks. If they have bad service or food Nobody is to say nothing because that's hurting black Businesses. Black Businesses need Accountability ppl are sick of the bull.
He is right for speaking his truth based on his experiences. The businesses should listen to the issues that were presented and strive to make positive improvements.
Keith Lee didn't just speak HIS truth; he spoke THE TRUTH. He peacefully said out loud what many of us residents are feeling about black businesses here. It's really disgusting.
You all’s responses to this have been great to hear! Truly! I really love the part about not supporting brands like Gucci who have openly been against Black People but not supporting Black Businesses for something less problematic
I've noticed thet when Pierre is not there, Comedy Hype usually spins from the title and give a good logical assessment; even with both sides of the argument are being explored.
@@TimestampsParrotI would argue that the show is better without the comedians takes. Pierre sounds jaded on damn near every topic, and Yamaneika would probably use this opportunity to tell you how black men are responsible for 77% of the worlds forest fires.
I can appreciate both sides of the argument and still find black businesses not respecting the black dollar and its customers as highly problematic simply because we are the lowest on the financial/wealth food chain and are capable of doing better, but due to ego issues we tend to keep failing. Every other ethnicity is doing better than us because we won't humble ourselves and do right by one another.
He is doing what needed to be done..They have no respect for OUR money..I am getting ready to call out 2 bars in the Atlanta area who think it is cool to change the amount billed to my CC after charging 20% gratuity on every bill..Included Hookahs!!!

I’m really over “black business” not taking accountability and believing that we don’t deserve RESPECT!!!! Kick rocks!!! I ain’t for everything black! You need integrity and kindness too! Signed a black business owner!!! Do better!!!
The restaurant industry is a difficult one. You can serve amazing food, have incredible service and still fail. Keith has helped plenty of businesses with his reviews.
It needed to be said! ATL is a unique and beautiful experience but some restaurants in ATL bank on black. Many of the patrons do stretch the nerves of the establishments but also if its run by us, people are willing to put up with poor service.
I'm from California and live here in the ATL area now for a year, and I can tell you that in predominantly black demographics what you stated is exactly what happens because of the historically oppressive and less progressive mentality of the Deep South. Now if black businesses tried that same thing in California, they'd be out of business because it is very progressive, the competition is steep, and people are just not tolerating the same mistreatment they do here (in fact, they'll burn the place down before they allow that business to disrespect them AND take their hard earned money). People in Georgia have systemically abused for many years, to the point of normalization and give off a sort of Stockholm Syndrome vibe toward these toxic black businesses.
@@melaninmoxiellc963 omg facts! I’m from California too and coming here and seeing this was unbelievable and still is..to me it even seems like they (the black businesses here) enjoy treating each other bad too…it’s a very sickening experience
I vacationed in ATL with my college aged daughter. It was her first time in ATL. She took me to toast on Lenox and we had to wait. We went for a foot massage then returned. The food was good and service was off the chain. OLG in the hood was the worse restaurant I’ve seen in all my 50 years. Old furniture, horrible service upon walking in. We didn’t have a desire to eat there… took pictures and left. I left reviews on Yelp.
Unfortunately Many black owned restaurants/businesses here in ATL portray themselves as luxurious venues but have subpar service or rules that tend to unnecessarily inconvenience the customers all the while requiring top dollar payment and nickel and dime you throughout the whole experience. Its quite sad because its taking advantage of the people who specifically go to these places to support them. Its good that someone is holding these businesses accountable.
This is so true! I'm from California where they have REAL LUXURY, and to see these black owned businesses try to cosplay ghetto as luxurious only confirms to me that they're scamming patrons who've never been acquainted with the finer things in life, and exploit the impoverished into a facade of luxury and charging more for the mediocre to give the false appearance of affluence...something the wannabes and clout chasers of ATL want access to so badly. It's really pathetic to see and I keep my distance. If I want luxury, I'll just go home to Cali to get it.
A sidenote: I remember the restaurant owner who caught all the smoke b/c of the twerkers...I ABHORED the backlash he got b/c a restaurant is not a club and he had every right to not want to cater to that behavior in that setting, they were completely in the wrong and obviously not the ideal customer or target audience...there are plenty of places catering to that and no one should have to buy raggedy furniture to cater to raggedy unwanted customers who don't understand time and place.
I also didn’t agree with always meeting people where they are when it comes to inappropriate behavior. Twerking is not a cultural thing, it’s just a “fun act” that some like to do and should be done in the appropriate place and time. I’ve lived in Atlanta for decades and lived through Freaknik. We didn’t have that issue in most regular restaurants. Maybe off Candler Rd, sure, but it wasn’t a norm for most people. Understand where you are and just respect the places that you enter.
I've been around Atlanta since '87, this city has some of the worst attitudes in America. He pointed out what we all have experienced especially at the airport and its getting worst!! Thank God he said something because we from Atl and surrounding know he ain't lying!!!!!!!!
I worked at several major chain full service restaurants for years and they always reading reviews to correct what needs to be corrected, where on a restaurant level as a whole, or a individual worker who needs to step their game up. They never take a review lightly, many get fired or written up over reviews!!
Thank you for reviewing this hot topic! Keith Lee is doing the right thing to bring accountability to the Black Own Restaurants and also black own businesses. Just because you are a Black Own Business don’t mean we have to be treated with disrespect. Cardi B. said a mouth full about ATL restaurants. I am so happy that Keitj Lee is bringing attention to this rudeness and house rules from hell.
I love the show and appreciate the points of views. All on point. Glad this show exists and you all have done an excellent job of representing the black community.
Atlanta Restaurants have too many rules, extremely poor customer service & they still want a 18-20% gratuity. So we’re supposed to reward bad behavior? Absolutely NOT!!! I’m glad he went and exposed this poor behavior from our people. Perhaps they’ll get it together. Btw he didn’t say anything that no one hasn’t already experienced from these businesses.
Kandi is a real class actually knows how to respond to criticism like a businesswoman not like a petty Patreon hats off to her for keeping a professional
She didn't address the fact that he was given a different wait time simply because they recognized him. He already said he understood why they didn't have To Go on weekends. So that response, to me, pivoted away from the real reason he didn't eat there.
@@monember2722They dropped the ball on that. Keith Lee has a huge following, and if they actually watch his videos they would know he makes it very clear that he wants to be treated like a normal customer, yet they decide to give preferential treatment then act crazy when he feels uncomfortable.
@@GoodNewzzz well if he can't accept the expected"special treatment" of being an invited guest, then so be it. He should not have gone into the restaurant and just not rate at all. Again, he says he went because they invited him, it seems to follow that he would be given preference. I appreciate Keith’s honesty in his reviews. He’s always been transparent and upfront. He’s not gonna give a fake review full of praise when the service is subpar. People who own businesses need to learn how to take criticism and not play the “Black business card” to shield them from it.
I thoroughly enjoyed this episode! It effectively shed light on the quality concerns within black-owned businesses and emphasized the importance of accountability. It's essential to value the black consumer's dollar just as it is to deliver the same level of quality service received with any other demographic.
The only way Black Owned Businesses can improve their services is to call them out hold them accountable! I refused to shop at B owned businesses that lacks Good Customer Service, have terrible staffers!

I appreciate the brother! As a long-time foodie or food/restaurant snob myself, I’m reviewing every establishment I patronize and spend my hard-earned money in. I don’t care who the owner or company is. I’m just so perplexed by the audacity of some of us who feel like black business owners shouldn’t be held accountable for their business practices. Just as they don’t want to be called out, we don’t want to be disrespected and taken for granted!! Respect my dollar 💵 and my patronage and I will continue to spend my money in said businesses black or otherwise!
My first and only experience working for a black owned food business left me traumatized. I have worked over 30yrs in customer service for companies like AT&T and TicketMaster both in roles of leadership. But when I tell you working for a black man with black women as managers was horrible, I tell you no lies. This review of honesty from Keith Lee left the door open for other Black owned food businesses with great customer service to come in and make a difference and a killing. Even though Kandi made a half way decent video, she still didn’t address how they can improve. My daughter said their food atOLG is way overpriced and not worth the money she paid 🤷🏽♀️
Now, dammit, we all know what it can be! I try to use black-own business around my home and it has been a nightmare. They will come late, but leave for lunch...on time. Will try to speak to you disrespectfully, until they are checked. Want to instantly become rich off of one job, but the job is subpar! I have been in Atlanta for over 30 years and, even though i have met wonderful black business owners, some can really turn you off from doing business with them.
I am a carpenter/handyman in Ca and if I was just concerned w customers opinions that looked like me... I wouldn't be in business very long. It makes me very sad that there are people trying to be independent and successful that cant hear the critical. Dude clearly just gives his experience not his black experience... This episode was very helpful for me to remember to treat everyone how I wanna be treated... Stuns me that someone would post a video slighting ANY customer showing what you really think about the people who in fact pay you... Life has lots of choices where I live so I try n make sure people say they liked paying me...
I'm from California and moved to the ATL area a year ago, and I just replied to someone else's comment to state that in California, the customer vibe is so much different, and black people will not support your black business if it's crappy, but out here black consumers patronize from what looks to be obligatory...almost like they have some sort of Stockholm Syndrome from southern abuse.
He gives very good reviews because he always encourages people to check out the restaurants he reviews for themselves. It's just a very sensitive & trying time we're living. Strange how it seems if we all stopped communicating & donned a pair of horseblinders we would evolve faster as a society. smh
The restaurants failed to realize he did not want special treatment, just the average "joe" experience, and they failed. Too many restaurants want to overcharge, give mediocre service, food, and/or small portions and still want customers to come to their facility and pay. People are no longer willing to pay for bad experiences.
Giving a review is good for the business because a lot of times, the owner might not even know their employees are not giving good service and can correct it. I always give a review when I get good service. I give a good review, and when I get bad service, I let it be known. You, as an owner, should want the people you are serving to let you know their experience.....FACTS!!!!!
I highly respect Keith Lee for his up most honest opinions, I'm a foodie & I wholeheartedly I luv his reactions when trying different foods that is so me whenever I go out to eat anywhere quality over everything.
I respect that he rejects special treatment from these businesses when they realize it was a food critic with a platform. Treat it like an inspection from the Dept of Health and just do a good job all the damn time. Then your everyday customer will love you for it.
Ice Cube son had the perfect response for that lady!! Dude does honest reviews and tells HIS experience at whatever establishment he visits. And his reviews puts spotlights on small and Black owned businesses with some of those businesses saying he saved their restaurant or gave needed exposure they wouldn't have had before.
Let’s keep it real. A lot of black owned. Businesses tend to lack customer service. We need to readjust and understand we are at work. We are in the industry of service as a black woman who works in the coffee industry I’ve learned to separate my personal from professional keep a smile on my face even if I don’t want to and if I don’t feel like smiling, I’ll take myself somewhere where I’m not disrupt the vibe.
I love to patreon Black Businesses that provide quality products along with quality service;however, I am not trying to see anyone twerking because its our culture. Thats like busting a flow in the middle of a sermon. Its a time and place for everything!!! Great show and good takes.
The people getting it wrong are either fans of RHOA and operate from a serious place of the "Black Guilt Syndrome" which is the business model of choice by black business owners here in the ATL area. They feel entitled to the black consumer dollar simply for being black and having started some sort of business, with no regard to the quality of products and services. Plus, you can't convince people who are determined to misunderstand because the truth is too incriminating.
Restaurants have been a problem in Atlanta for a while now and i grew up there. Keith lee gets my support because he wasn't rude at all about it and didn't disrespect the owner. The milk and honey owner should've actually been respectful but they through shade for nothing
It's called accountability. I love the fact he wouldn't let them skip people who came before them. He a real one for that. Good customer service is about treating everyone the same no matter who you are!!
He’s not using his platform negatively. He’s respectful and honest! I live in the Atlanta metro area and he’s not lying. Going to certain black owned businesses can be a mixed bag. The service will be lacking, but the food may be good and vice versa. The service may be better than the food, but you want to support bc that’s your people. 😢😂
Hurt people, hurt people. The swag isn't necessary. Being overly personal isn't necessary. Being efficient, unemotional and TRAINED. Being accommodating BEYOND your establishment's standard ( not to be written/ posted on walls/ tables) is not necessary. Just doing the basics and having a practiced protocol for handling hospitality is simple. And ALWAYS have enough staff to handle service on the floor and in the back.
What would actually hurt Black Owned Businesses is letting them get away with no criticism. Because how are people supposed to improve if you don’t give both positive and negative feedback? And, he did it nicely. Not all criticism is hate.

Generally, the Black Community's business owners have a serious victim mentality, and they do believe that the rest of the community owes our business to them regardless of how poor the product and/or customer service is, and expect black customers to just put up with it and pay them. Plus, black people in general don't know how to handle power and influence.
🎯 SMH.
So do I😅
in keith we trust
He was honest. Way kinder than he should've been. And as an ATL resident this is the bull we deal with consistently. So we're thankful for him showing what is really like.
Thank you! 💯🙌🏾

Exactly why we don’t buy nothing in Atl. The restaurants are out of control here. We actually leave Atl to get food in other counties smh
And its so much more to it then restaurants too 💯
hi.. the fact that people are still eating from.. restaurants.. any restaurant.. no matter where in the 'united' states.. is just so very crazy to me.. be blessed
He's not hurting Black Businesses, that means ATL Black Businesses need to step up their damn game!!! He's always transparent about what he does and how he moves. He conducted himself exactly like any food critic would. They're there to see you in your everyday element not the "Dog and Pony" show.
Exactly
Devoured THAT 😊
Agree there is a need for change of management for these restaurants if they want to be better in customer service.
PERIODT! Black owned have to understand that exceptional customer service is king! It’s time to take accountability!
I support him. Keith shared his experience. Some businesses don’t have good customer service and they need to be held accountable for poor service--especially by their own people, since their people are mainly the ones who support them. If blacks people remain silent, they will continue to be disrespected.

Black ATL Restaurant owners and staff NEED to be humbled for the way they treat their own people. All those ridiculous rules and poor customer service just because they can. People need to stop giving them business.
Facts! I absolutely don’t for that reason.
Some folks so lost. First it don't matter if its black, blue, or orange owned businesses. Shitty businesses need to be called out regardless.
Big facts!
I will never go to the real milk and honey. That response was irresponsible, petty, sophomoric, childish and unprofessional.
Abso fucking lutely and then they want to backtrack......nah

Forreal.
Exactly, what bothers me about the real milk and honey is that they made a video to seemingly acknowledging him while stating they don't know who he is. They made the video probably edited it, then press the send/post button. Very petty.
Yes they looked ridiculous. Like a zesty Alice in wonderland. What are they wearing? That sparkle dress and them Elton John glasses. 😂smh
*“Black Business”* should stay on its toes and strive to provide great products, services, and experiences to ensure that they can’t be “exposed”. Non-Black establishments get exposed all the time.

I agree! Most black businesses come in the game slipping from the beginning.
@@originalman8906 🎯

How is holding business “accountable” considered to be “hurting”?😂
because black people like letting things slide, they dont understand accountability. they let everything slide. thats what they love.
That's the main issue in the black community right now.
AOC referred to mean tweets as "violence." That is an elected official peddling that nonsense. Social media is giving some people full on brain damage
They don't want anyone to have anything considered "negative" to say about their restaurant.
If more black people would be honest about how black people treat each other, imagine the improvement? Get it together!

And refuse to go where we arent being treated fairly alot of businesses would feel it and hopefully make changes

It’s not even funny, it’s truly sad.

Proving his point
Sounds like KS 🕊️.
I absolutely agree with everything you mentioned!
Thank you for saying it out loud.

They overcharge and want high-class money but giving ghetto service, ok.
Too busy watching TV and playing too loud music
Keith is right. He’s not tearing no one down. They are trying to sell an exclusive experience and that’s not inviting.
Shout out to Keith Lee. There's lessons to be learned.
It’s not his fault that the restaurants didn’t provide the level of customer service that he’s used to! Keith never gives bad reviews if it’s not warranted!
Facts!
Most of us try to support black owned and get scammed, treated poorly, or unprofessional. Not all but there are alot of black business trying to take advantage of their own people. We have to have a higher standard and hold ourselves to it

Facts
It's an jssue with black owned business across the country unfortunately in major cities. Houston, DC, LA are likely going to the be the same as ATL.
Keith Lee comes across as a really humble person, and I enjoy his food reviews. I didn't detect any malice in his reviews, I just think he was telling us about his personal experiences. And to be quite frank, I can relate to those experiences.
That's all he did. Those folks wanna keep being mediocre and lacking in customer service skills. Reluctant to change and don't wanna fire nobody!
He is giving his honest opinion. He didn't use foul language and act disrespectful he was honest. These restaurants should have a box where you can make suggestions and let the manager know what your concerns are. What ever your business is, treat people the way you would want to be treated.
Big respect to Mr. Lee for doing his job, let this be a lesson to all business owners, if you stay ready you don’t have to get ready!
Real Milk and Honey**, Milk and Honey are two different restaurants
I see nothing Keith Lee did wrong. He was honest dnd respectful, but death threats is crazy. Kandi sounds crazy. Add more staff on the weekends where your money flows more. She is very delusional.
delusional for no to go orders?
Exactly and condescending with that “uhm kay” attitude. It’s crazy how most of the Black people that are from Georgia are very ignorant and rude
She needs to either close all restaurants except one so she can dedicate every resource or close it all down. This is unacceptable
Sounds like black business is hurting blacks. Thank you Keith Lee keep it coming.
The Real Milk and Honey sitting around on a couch with shades on dismissing the reviews of their business and disrespecting the reviewer is confirmation that they are unprofessional. Everyone should not be running a business. That response will be the single reason why new people don’t visit their restaurant.
Facts!
They did it to themselves even the people in the community was Keith was right
Keep that same energy for white zaddy and don't suck up and kiss ass either.

I’m not and poor service with bad hubris attitudes I don’t support

Thank you! 💯🙌🏾
Ate That 😊
I also didn’t agree with always meeting people where they are when it comes to inappropriate behavior.
Exactly, you can’t win for losing in this era 🙄😩🤦🏾♀️😅

I've been around Atlanta since '87, this city has some of the worst attitudes in America. He pointed out what we all have experienced especially at the airport and its getting worst!! Thank God he said something because we from Atl and surrounding know he ain't lying!!!!!!!!
Great customer service is the key and if it’s bad it will destroy your restaurant.
I worked at several major chain full service restaurants for years and they always reading reviews to correct what needs to be corrected, where on a restaurant level as a whole, or a individual worker who needs to step their game up.
They never take a review lightly, many get fired or written up over reviews!!
That’s excellent! They know customer service. They should teach these restaurants who lack that.
This is was a great show. Kudos to you John and the Crew.

I thoroughly enjoyed this episode! It effectively shed light on the quality concerns within black-owned businesses and emphasized the importance of accountability. It's essential to value the black consumer's dollar just as it is to deliver the same level of quality service received with any other demographic.

You guys do a great job at discussing hot topics. We appreciate you.
He gives very good reviews because he always encourages people to check out the restaurants he reviews for themselves. It's just a very sensitive & trying time we're living. Strange how it seems if we all stopped communicating & donned a pair of horseblinders we would evolve faster as a society. smh
You guys are doing an amazing job. I watch the show often, and I appreciate the content along with the standard you represent. Keep it up, God bless.
He gives honest respectful feedback.
He has also helped numerous businesses thrive after his reviews!!!
This was an awesome conversation. Thank you
I highly respect Keith Lee for his up most honest opinions, I'm a foodie & I wholeheartedly I luv his reactions when trying different foods that is so me whenever I go out to eat anywhere quality over everything.
We need to relax our unrealistic expectations on service, most businesses are stretched very thin
I'm glad celebrities are speaking out to give the "regular" people's voice a boost
I gotta give symphony her credit she always come with the facts
We should not be immune to criticism. We need to do better as business owners. I'm pro black, but I have too many bad experiences in our businesses.
No he is telling the truth. Protect this man at all cost. We wasted so much time this weekend with almost all of these resteraunts.
The Milk and Honey on Cascade Rd is on point. The last time I ate there for my birthday both the food and service were excellent!!!
Hes clear and consistent with his points how is anyone getting it wrong??
The people getting it wrong are either fans of RHOA and operate from a serious place of the "Black Guilt Syndrome" which is the business model of choice by black business owners here in the ATL area. They feel entitled to the black consumer dollar simply for being black and having started some sort of business, with no regard to the quality of products and services. Plus, you can't convince people who are determined to misunderstand because the truth is too incriminating.
NEWS FLASH!!! Atlanta has GOTTEN Bougie!! How did this take so long!!!?
Restaurants have been a problem in Atlanta for a while now and i grew up there. Keith lee gets my support because he wasn't rude at all about it and didn't disrespect the owner. The milk and honey owner should've actually been respectful but they through shade for nothing
Atlanta food and prices are horrible. The poor service just amplifies everything.
Y’all preaching!!!!!!!! I love it
They really tried to come for Keith and had to apologize lmao!!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ate That 😊
What would actually hurt Black Owned Businesses is letting them get away with no criticism. Because how are people supposed to improve if you don’t give both positive and negative feedback? And, he did it nicely. Not all criticism is hate.
