Wow. You guys totally reactivated a suppressed memory I had as a young 5th Grader. I totally was a part of an NWO "Gang" at school. We all wore the shirts and would cause havoc to the other classes at recess. Some of us even did run ins during rest room breaks.
38 and we did the same. Black, white, Native all in the gang. The teacher even tried to turn me into the gang unit, because I had nWo and Outsiders with the red dripping....I called it "ooze," but she said it was blood lol. We were like 11-12, just loved wrestling.

I cant imagine the pain your going through losing T, I've lost a family member very close to me too which I don't want to talk about on here and the pain is still crippling 3 years later but to lose your own child is something no parent should ever have to go through, I just want to say I think it takes next level courage and strength to be able to carry on doing the podcast and being in the public eye and keeping a brave face like you do. Your truly an inspiration to those who've lost someone so close, to keep going and stay strong. Students had limited choices on what to wear based on school policies. nWo was a huge reason why I was a rebel against the school with a IDGAF attitude and I made it out alive with my brother and not to succumb to peer pressures of joining an actual gang or to be bullied and getting picked on. Met DiBiase, Tito Santana, Hawk, Typhoon, and Hitman. Sheik was the 1st we saw and he was the nicest person I ever met as a child. He had a full conversation with me and my friend. Broke Kayfabe and told me how he used to wrestle as The Iron Sheik. I acted surprised, but I knew. I guess I didn't wanna break Kayfabe. He did the job for Slaughter that night, I witnessed Mean Gene smoking a cig and cursing thr business, Hitman beat Flair by DQ, I even met Bret and got his autograph and talked to him as well, but the highlight was meeting Sheik. He knew we weren't supposed to be back there, but he made us feel welcomed.

That was one of the first anime I got into as a teenager, and ended up buying the DVD sets of the OVA and Chronicles of the Heroic Knight. I even bought some of the manga when I found them at a used bookstore. I still remember the scene where Orson dies and Shiris is mourning him. This was the last thing I expected to hear about on a wrestling podcast.

100 percent agree with Hulk Hogan being a nice guy. Met him and Nick at Clearwater beach shop and both were very nice and personable. Told the Hulkster about me and my dad being at Wrestlemania 3 and he let me get a free pic with him. I live north of Detroit, between Flint and Port Huron and am on the Little Ceasar side. When you used to get the two pizzas they had a cardboard bottom and paper covering the top. Little Ceasars also used to sell single slices. There is a Little Ceasars restaurant in Davison Michigan which is a full restaurant with bar. I believe it is the only one in the country. Big fan of the show, stay strong Big Sexy

I’ve never heard wrestlers give any insight to the ring psychology. How they would map a match out or story over time. Always wondered about that

Been nWo since it first started when I was in high school. We made copies of the nWo logo in the library and passed them out lol I have nWo on my class ring because we were so big into it. And I was a fan of Hall & Nash in wwe and followed them to wcw. And I’d love a new nWo faction
100 percent agree with Hulk Hogan being a nice guy. Met him and Nick at Clearwater beach shop and both were very nice and personable. Told the Hulkster about me and my dad being at Wrestlemania 3 and he let me get a free pic with him. I live north of Detroit, between Flint and Port Huron and am on the Little Ceasar side. When you used to get the two pizzas they had a cardboard bottom and paper covering the top. Little Ceasars also used to sell single slices. There is a Little Ceasars restaurant in Davison Michigan which is a full restaurant with bar. I believe it is the only one in the country. Big fan of the show, stay strong Big Sexy
