@Sven Felsl I had a dream the other day, where I was at a bar with some friends, drinking and joking arround, when suddenly Donny showed up from nowhere, wearing a purple tuxedo (classy as always) and announced himself as a surprise musical guest for the night. Then he looked right into my eyes, licked his lips and said "Tonight is not about me, it's about us baby" took his bass and started playing 'All Things Must Pass' by George Harrison, probably the most anticlimactic song for the moment we're having.
Now all I want is to develop this dream into a Brodway Musical called:

I've discovered Donny just one week ago, I've listened to all of his records and he is now my all time favourite bass player.
lol. i discovered him a few weeks ago during an acid trip. actually several hours after the peak, but i experienced a second peak as i spent the end of my trip huffing videos by him! hah! his timing and feel on the bass are just exquisite. that pocket!! i love his attitude. as a balding man, his confidence in his sexuality is inspiring to me. must...emulate...

as someone who attempts bass from time to time, seeing Donny do a bassline and then go "and that's it!" and I go "I'll never, ever be able to do that!
@@innercityprepper - It must have *a lot* to do with proper technique, especially of the fretting hand; I'm more the 'thumb over fretboard' bassist myself, rather than keeping it against the back of the neck the whole time 😅
I'd love to see more about Donny's formative music years- how many instruments can he play? How long has he been playing? Why is he so dope? So many questions!!
