I could build just Tamiya 1/32 Corsairs for the rest of my life and be happy
GOAT
I wish Tamiya offered new 1/32 Corsair variants.
@@JuanAdam12 I don’t think it would take much for them to do a -5
I think I probably could too. Amazing kit
I wish tamiya 1/32 dont cost thousand of money
This is the highest mark ever given to a model aircraft kit. He painted it before putting the lower half and wings on and with a PERFECT fit. Boys you can't do that with any kit I've ever seen and I've been at it for over 35yrs! Well done Tamiya absolutely incredible.
you get what you pay for - i was lucky enough to get this kit as a gift - i was floored when i found out how much it cost/.
You haven't seen Plasmo have you? He can do things with a snap together kit that most modelers could never do.
You are right! You should see how precise the engine compartments fit together and then fitting the several exhaust and intake manifolds together; then connecting the various engine segment together is remarkable. From the rear firewall to the cowl flaps to the twin row R-2800 radial to the engine cowl inspection hatches to the front cowl, they all line up perfectly and slide into place without a wobble. These components built in sections, come together perfectly. It is amazing.
And this plane is built with the ability to easily display or enclose the engine. The engine cowl inspection hatches fit snuggly without clue and one can remove these cowl hatches depending on their mood or the phases of the Moon.
I fitted the engine with home-made spark plugs and ignition wires. It was a little work, but worth it. Also I bought the 3D cockpit instrument panel decals.
This cockpit is hyper detailed in the out-of-the-box configuration. With the 3D decal kit, it is almost an exact replica of a full size Corsair. It is hyper-correct.
I build my aircraft with figures in the cockpit and in this case, used the figure that came with the kit. He turned out nice and when I finally assembled the two major cockpit components, the control stick fit right into the pilots hands perfectly and his feet were on the rudder pedals in perfect position. This occurred without me ever thinking about it while I slid the rear cockpit assembly into the front cockpit assembly. It was perfect and just amazing the pilot was grabbing the stick perfectly and his feet were setting on the pedals just as one would expect.
After fighting a previous build of a Trumpeter 1/32 Corsair, this build is an endorphin filled adventure when fitting parts together and joining separate major component sections.
I could kiss the Tamiya designers, whereas I wanted to toss the Trumpeter model and kick the Trumpeter designers in the ass.
Dusan, please don't feel the need to defend yourself or your build. Too many armchair critics and rivet counters out there, wanting to tear down the works of others. Ignore them and keep doing what you're doing. As always, thanks for sharing.
Tamiya fit is simply second to none. Crazy good.
c'est fou tout les détails qui sont représentés ! on sait pourquoi on choisi Tamiya, c'est de la qualité !
Really like it. Can't wait to get one myself
I haven’t built a model since I was 12 or 13 years old. That was a little less than 60 years ago. I was very proud of a 1940 Ford Coupe that I built. This, obviously, is exponentially next level but I enjoyed the video.
Superb build!
Beautiful build
This movie almost made me wanna reignite my old hobby of making models.
I've never lost interest after i quit building in 2001 and i still have all my equipment stashed in the attic.
It's just that i have to prioritize between hobbies and family. Such a shame that humans need so much sleep ;-)
Awesome!! I got one in my collection. I love this kit! This kit with F-16 and Spitfire are the best from Tamyia's 1/32 scale! Thank for sharing Dusan.
Excellent video & job building and painting and weathering your 1/32 Tamiya F4U-1A Corsair! Thanks for posting your video too!
Por Fin Dios escucho mis plegarias!!! trae piloto y mas encima en varias posiciones!!! SI!!!.

Now that was both educational and entertaining. One of the best model build videos I've ever seen. Simply amazing.
Absolutely fantastic! Bravo!
Perfection achieved!! Gloriously beautiful finish
Loved this.
Really great job!!!
Very nice result 👌
Wow, I've done hunndred and hundreds of kits. This is a master at work with one of best kits out there.
Outstanding video and presentation.
Fantastic!
A masterpiece of modeling.
The only word I can come up with is "magnificent"
This is so good
Just BRILLIANT 👏
Wow incredible work
I used to build models when l was young used to have the German army soilders trucks tanks planes l used to take them into the garden set them up in battle scense and take pictures and some of the pics turned out life like and really well
Angel Wings! What a brilliant series! Your built does it justice. The F4U Corsair has always captured my imagination. Power, goofiness and elegance.
Wow that kit is INCREDIBLE!!!
Superbe travail ...Congrest !!...
Wow, that's one beautiful kit, Tamiya at their best. You have done a superb job on it, as you always do. You're an inspiration to an old hand like myself, and surely to someone new to our hobby.
Amazing kit , I am so shocked the detail and diversity offered even different figures .... incredible.
the perfect model for weathering
Great model! Nice job!
Very nice build. Great final result! I am building Tamiya 1/32 Spitfire Mk.IXc at this moment. This F4U is next in line
wow, I had no idea this kit was so impressive!
I liked the video at the very beginning because I know you never disappoint. It would make Pappy Boyington proud!
Great Work!🤗
I do really love Tamiya work!!! anyway I want to keep building in 1: 48 to fix my collection !!! Maybe I will make a 1:32 in the future with a 109 K or a 190 A-3 or 4 as my two fav planes !!!
You make it look this easy! Wonderful build. Again!
great work !
You made it look amazing
Honestly, this is one of the best, if not the best looking model I've ever seen!
Really outstanding job, especially the painting and weathering, it is just perfect!
Chapeau!!!
Прекрасная работа!🖒
I've watched this one three times now.
I might have to ask for one for my birthday next month. 😊😊❤❤❤😊😊
Excellent build as always. Very nice details
Very nice work
Wonderful.
Grandios und wunderschön.
Very nice
I'll have to toss mine out cause I'll never be that good.....but you've given me inspiration to build better. Super Great video. You keep em coming, I'll keep watching.
One of my best friends here in Rouen, Normandy, has his house decorated with impressive and huge prints of Hugault's art work.
Very great result, congrats!
I have both a 1/72 and 1/48 of this aircraft and I really like what you did with this kit.
Nice one bro!.. we operated Corsair planes with our RNZAF in WW2 and we have Corsair warbirds down under 👍✈️🇳🇿
Yeah Tamiya are the very best!
This such an excellent model kit, and this is an excellent build video! The only thing that would make it better would be to paint the national insignias.
That sir was absolutely outstanding, I liked how you built and painted it in one easy to follow episode, I would really like this in my stash, again congratulations, best regards from Australia.
An impressive build of a really nice kit. The polar opposite of the 1/9 Kettenkrad I am attempting to build......its so old I think it pre dates the real thing ha ha.
I have always thought that the F-4U Corsair had such a unique wing design and it's profile coming head-on is very cool looking. I always liked that about it when I used to watch Bla Bla Black Sheep (with Robert Conrad) on NBC back in the day. Great technique and paint job displayed here. Your skill with paints and models is very inspiring. My other favorite plane is the P-38 Lightening--again, great overall design and unique as well. Thanks for the video!👍🛩
+1 Another Black Sheep TV fan. I only watched it for the F-4U's.
I can remember watching that show as a young boy with my my dad, truly fond memories.
Great video
Very nice 👋👋👌👌👍👍👍
Moc pěkné video ze stavby , a děkuji zároveň za inspiraci .
Thank you for sharing your amazing talent. This another exceptional build. And an excellent youtube video 👍
Exceptional. Fantastic build. Keep up the great work.
What a great built ...you made it look easy
Briilliant work, that is one kit I have been considering for a while.
Amazing build. In context, you can’t tell the difference from a real Corsair. Your weathering skills are above reproach. I’m a “Brand New” builder with everything I build, cars or aircraft. Just my preference. Thanks for sharing your talent with us. 👍
Nice job 😍😍
Tamiya makes some awesome kits!
Excellent build love the weathering besides your cruise were more concerned in keeping these planes flying then how they looked on the ground the only thing missing is some bullet holes
Great Job 👨🏿🚀
Wow! Very impressive build. I loved your chipping technique.
Awesome. I wish I would have half of your skills. Building is one thing. But painting and weathering bring this plane to life. Keep up the good work.
NO comment. Beautiful airplane Corsair.
Superb. Thanks for sharing this video with us!
Awesome vid! 😃 I have this kit and very thankful for these tips...Womderful job, 10/10! 👍🏻
Superb work!
That was masterful! I would never have the patience.
Great build. Where did you find the romain hugault custom decals? I couldn't find them on his site.
Great build/kit!!! //Lars
Superb. Amazing attention to detail. A true artist. Thanks
Superb

Who is "Romain Hugault"? A man or an aftermarket items business?
How do 3D decals work? Do they have in them a substance like cellulose that brief exposure to warm water causes to expand?
Your video is so much fun (if wistful) that I watched it again. I so wish I could build my own (that is a long story!). Thank you so much!
Years past had I built round a half-dozen Tamiya 1:48th-scale Chance Vought F4U Corsair USN/USMC/FAA Fighter kits in different variants. They (as well as other Tamiya kits) were astonishing, joyous, and thrilling to build, to detail, to paint, to weather, and to display! Ohhhh, how I so keenly wish I could afford a dozen of these!
Unfassbar gute Arbeit !
I miss making models
splendide la p'tite n......heeeeuuuuu pardon le montage et le résultat
I am only a very amateur hobbyist, and at points I didn't understand the importance of some steps. In the end it turned out beautifully.
I see you are as hyped for the airpower as i am.
Great job, turned out awesome 👍
A-freaking-maxing man! Wow! 💥!!!
Stiegl!!! der Kollege hat Geschmack...👍😉
Awesome result. Definitely a stunning work! :)
Great, as usually:)
Lovely job well done. Steve U.K.
AMAZING 😍💥
