    How do I operate the draw bar hitch

    • @JohnDeere
      @JohnDeere  7 місяців тому

      Great question! You can learn more about the operation of the drawbar in the Operator's Manual for the 6230R and 6250R Utility Tractor in "Section 60E - Rear Hitch" here: spr.ly/60525crIs. If you have a different model, you can view many of our other Operator's Manuals online here: spr.ly/60565crIa. We hope this helps!

    If I buy one new from a dealer in Europe, will it be covered under Warranty in Canada ?

    • @JohnDeere
      @JohnDeere  5 років тому +1

      Jonas, product warranty is tied to the specific region where a machine was originally marketed, and does not follow the unit if it migrates from one area to another. For example, warranty repairs for a machine originating in the European Community would need to be completed by an authorized dealer within the European Community. You can find more information on our Migrating Machine Policy here: bit.ly/2HXc81X.

      Thank you for the Reply. I just can't understand why the Tractors in North America cost as much as the Tractors in Europe with less than half the options. Under those circumstances I will have to continue to buy Fendt or JCB. Or buy a fully equipped John Deere tractor in Europe without your Warranty.

    What’s the difference between an equally spec’d 6230R and 7230R?

    • @chucklesx
      @chucklesx 5 років тому

      Weight

    • @JohnDeere
      @JohnDeere  5 років тому +1

      Thanks for asking! The biggest differences that a 6230R will have compared to a 7230R is higher crop clearance, less overall weight, and a shorter wheelbase. The 6230R can be configured from the factory with a front hitch and PTO and also the CommandPRO control.

    A lot of overlap in the line up I'd say. What's the difference between 6250R, 7250R and 8245R ? What makes a farmer choose one over the others ?

    • @JakeRose4430
      @JakeRose4430 5 років тому +1

      difference between all the tractors is the frame size. some people prefer an 8r to haul liquid manure because it will handle better with the bigger framed machine. its not always about horsepower. same goes for any other attachment depending what your doing.

    • @JohnDeere
      @JohnDeere  5 років тому +5

      Thanks for your question! When considering between a 6R, 7R, and 8R, the applications the machine will be utilized in and the overall machine weight and wheelbase will make up the biggest differences. The 6230R and 6250R will be utilized more in transport, haulage, PTO, and loader applications whereas 7R and 8R may be leveraged more for row crop applications.

    • @JohnDeere
      @JohnDeere  5 років тому

      Kavita, which rate are you referring to? The rated engine power for the 6250R is 250 hp, the rated PTO power (hp SAE) is 203 hp, and the rated speed is 2100 rpm. You can find this information and more on the 6250R Utility Tractor product page here: bit.ly/2PKFB1A.

    • @Joey-ve7ku
      @Joey-ve7ku 6 років тому +4

      Yeah I don't think it would be for the most part. Extremely popular in Europe though. 7 or 8 series are probably more of what you'd find in the Us.

      @@Joey-ve7ku I don't think I have ever seen a 6000 tractor in my whole life that was not in a show and the only time I have ever seen a 7000 tractor was on the side of the road mowing County ditches
      at least where I am all you ever see is 8 and 9000 series tractors
      the 6000 is too big to run grain auger. The only task I see it performing on our operation is mowing, and they are too expensive to just mow grass
      And the skid loader / backhoe moves any material or snow we need so it wouldn't even work as a loader tractor

      Since the new 6250R/6230R already got released in europe a while ago we have a good overview about what the tractor can be used for: It is a good mix of a haul and a tillage tractor because with extra weights it is almost as heavy as the 7R´s. But without the weights it is a very good haul tractor because of its low weight. Will it be usefull for the US and Canadian Farmers? In my opionion it might be the case for midsize farms but we will have to see...

    • @anthonysmith4222
      @anthonysmith4222 5 років тому

      North Dakota 322 we have 3 6145R tractors. They get used more than any other tractor we have on the farm. This is coming from an operation that runs 7 S780 combines and 6 1100 Kinze carts. We bush-hog with them most of the year and use the loaders for a variety of tasks.
