I have another myth that I discovered: The music in Lego Batman 2:DC Super Heroes comes from a Batman film. In the 1989 Batman film, when the Joker kills his boss, it plays a music. This music isn't on any consoles. However, Lego Batman 2:DC Super Heroes was also available on tablets and on the part where you fight Joker in Joker's Funland, the music used here is the exact same from the Joker film scene. Myth confirmed!
26:00 - I've always had a theory as to why Gotham City is so dark in LEGO DC Super Villains even though it's clearly daytime in as seen in Metropolis and Smallville. It's not just aesthetic; you'll notice when looking at the layout of the hub world for the game that Metropolis stands on much higher ground than Gotham City. Because of this, Gotham City doesn't receive any sunshine as Metropolis is blotting out the sun from Gotham. In other words Metropolis is literally overshadowing Gotham City, making it appear as though it's nighttime. One of the NPCs even has a bit of dialog pointing this out, which just about confirms this theory.
I played LEGO Pirates on a friend's old Wii consle recently, and sometimes when you kill enemies, they have the same cut animation from Batman 1 where you chop their head off, they panic for a moment, then they fall to pieces.
Video idea: The hardest minikits or Red Bricks to find/collect without detectors from every single lego game. A similar ideia would be the hardest minikits from every level in a certain lego game.
Fun fact: In Lego Batman 2, You can use Batman’s glide suit to jump off Arkham Asylum to access the central and south islands early (before beating Level 4)
on the dimensions theory; it actually makes sense to me that after a dimensional crisis, everything in the dc universe is exactly the same but just *slightly* different. It happens all the time in the comics, like the changes after Flashpoint or post-Crisis continuities. Most dc characters are just used to it.
Not gonna lie, I kind of miss the level exclusive extra toggle character thing. I wish that was in modern Lego games as it just made each level seen that little more special. Even if it was someone basic like the mayor that would be pretty cool, although ideally I think it would be neat if you could play as a superhero’s alter ego (for example, maybe you could play as Barry Allen in the star labs and he would have all the abilities the flash normally has he just doesn’t have the suit on)
I don’t remember the exact setup for this, but I discovered it myself (don’t know if anyone else has done this), but in Lego Batman 3, Clark Kent has an animation when transforming into Superman in which his work suit opens up a bit and you see the S, but he hasn’t fully taken it off yet. If you kill Clark before the animation finishes, you can play as this middle-stage Clark-Superman hybrid (although only with Clark’s moveset). I got it to work by making him transform while sliding off a slope in one of the Lantern hub worlds, so that he falls off and dies in the void before turning into Superman. I don’t remember which hub world I did it in, but I think it was whichever one had the Giganta side quest
Ive commented this in about everything that has to do with Metropolis and Lego Batman 2 but im doing it again Here's a cool glich: In Lego Batman 2, if you bring a helicopter all the way to the barrier, make sure the back is facing the barrier, then jump out the helicopter, and if you did it right, then you can go to Metropolis and explore everything past the barrier.
I still wish we actually DID get a Lord vortech figure because he’d be exceptionally fun and having a physical version of him would be so unbelievably awesome
That second myth you confirmed could actually be really useful for 100% speedruns as it's much simpler and easier to pull off than lag tricks and the like! Good find!
in lego batman 3 zebra batman can deflect any bullet and you don’t have to even play as him he has an auto shield that spawns and even when firing brainiacs shrink ray beam he isn’t shrunk
A couple of days ago, I played Lego Batman 3 (just for fun you know?) I went to the orange lantern planet, then I went to green lantern planet. That’s when it happened. The planets had overlapped. I was still on the orange planet, but the FOV was like I was on the green one. Also, the green planet was in the sky, and I couldn’t land on it. One thing led to another, and I had put all the planets into one. I could tell it was overlapping because two buildings were inside each other, purple crystals, lava, water, etc. Then, I decided to go to the watchtower. I thought this would fix it. The tower was all janky, but still playable. That’s when it happened. I went to the batcave, and it was like it was tilted on its side. I had to fly just to get around, and sometimes I would randomly be swimming. I had gone into the room on the far right of the batcave, and p2 had fallen through the door to the loading zone. After goofing off, I accidentally got p1 stuck. So of course, I switched into p2. But he was ABOVE the batcave. Eventually I had found my way out (my vision was still in the batcave ceiling until now) I was once again ON THE ORANGE PLANET! (Forgot to mention, but the moon was at the very center for some reason) TLDR: all the maps glitched, and they were all active at once. Probably a loading zone glitch, where the loading zones weren’t active, so I would just be loading another map onto the existing one.
That reminds me of a LEGO Batman 3 glitch I got in probably, 2015 I’m not sure how I did it, since my memory of it is foggy, but I think I traveled from a Lantern Planet into the Batcave, and everything was upside down It was very disorienting, and I think I fixed it by traveling to a different location like the Watchtower or something
This is part of the reason I like the older Lego games. The glitches are part of my childhood. Like another, I glitched Lego lotr. If you have two characters with the mithril disco ball, then have them next to each other (co-op), you can go through the Sauron blocks in the story. (You can get both parties in Mordor after black gate, lol)
@ definitely part of mine as well, my siblings and I would record video clips whenever a glitch happened so we could laugh it later Some of the videos are on my channel, they’re several years old
There is a person who made a whole video on the Lego DC timeline, some movies and shorts are also canon but not the movie released in theaters, those released in direct video
1:00 Why, is that just to make sure that Eyezayar watches? 😂😂 13:19 Did you also try it with the quicker variant from the earlier myth as it’d be ironic if he was faster than each of the vehicles (though I get that if you did that you’d have to discount it from the timings). 15:12 You can do something similar in the level ‘There She Goes Again’, it’s used in speedruns and you fly as Batman in the glide suit baiting her into falling off of the rooftops and you instantly complete the level by beating the boss fight. I’m honestly surprised that you didn’t bring that up as technically speaking with both of those strategies taken into account you don’t have to fight Catwoman at all in Lego Batman 1! 22:32 Bd1p actually has a couple of really good videos on this topic might I add.
My only question is that in Lego Batman Three beyond Gotham, you can find weeping angels in the game. How did they get there, if dimensions happens after the events of LB3?
My theory is that "Lord Voretech" put them there with his powers. Probably to scare people. Also, TT Games probably put it in as a teaser for something. Ohh, no!! There's one more problem!!! "The Tardis" in Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham!!!!
I remember in Lego Batman: The Videogame there was a bug in the batcave. After upgrading Robin's software suit, you can install your own decoy clones. So you can switch to him in the Batcave and somehow I managed to make it so that both players were Robins, without Batman
Did you know that if you slingshot web swing charge and immediately after launching as 2099 Spider-Man glide you’ll glide extremely fast and you won’t be able to change direction (very worth it for getting across chronopolis) launch off of Atilan for good results
Can you make a video of Lego games we need? IMO, I really really wanna see these! Lego How to Train Your Dragon: 15 levels in total, 5 per movie following the three movies. DLCs based of the Race to the Edge series. Playable Dragons that can also ridden (Like Ant-Thony in Lego marvel Avengers) Lego Ben 10: Based of the classic show and UAF. Unlockable Aliens inside of the omnitrix that you can go inside similar to how you go inside Iron mans suit to select version of iron man in Lego marvel avengers. Lego Kung Fu Panda: Filliwing the story of trilogy (NOT the disgrace that is the fourth movie) Lego Ninjago Masters of Spinjitzu: We already have "Lego Ninjago the movie video game", why not give fans a game based of the fantastic show that is master of spinjitzu. Imagine a full game that goes through all the seasons! That would be amazing, although maybe to big of a game. Lego Marvel Infinity Saga: Follows the story of Avengers infinity war and Endgame.
I’ll add to this list: LEGO Hobbit Remastered: to add the third movie, remove the annoying building minigame, fix the buggy “Buddy System” and, I guess update the graphics LEGO Marvel Superheroes 3: I won’t share my thoughts on that, since I made a video on a pitch for it😉
@Connerthespider True, a fresh and actually finished Lego Hobbits would be awesome. Also, cheeky way to selfpromote but I saw your video. Lego Marvel Superheroes 3 could possibly go hard, as long as they bring back Deadpool bonus levels and deadpool red bricks! Deadpool is the best part of Lego Marvel Superheroes 1
@ I wouldn’t even mind if they had Gwenpool and Deadpool together, the banter between those two would be hilarious Hey, as long as it’s not a direct link, or directly asking someone to watch it, it works lol Also, thanks for checking it out!
11:45 Also I should mention this, we still don’t know which secret Star Wars character that was accidentally put into LEGO Batman 2, only a few hours in the game than taken out, and yet no screenshot of file for who that character was, if there’s someone who has any knowledge of who it was, please let us fans know.
If you thought the Freeze and Joker Zap flying glitch was cool, you should see what we do in Lego Batman Free Play speedruns.. With the glide suit on batman, and the Slam suit upgrade red brick, you can gain infinite height and fly around the map. This is done by gliding, slamming and then straight away pressing R1/L1 to cycle character, cycle back to the glide suit, and repeat. Changing characters mid slam gives you a boost upwards! Works very similarly to switching characters mid lightsaber slam in The Complete Saga.

12:21 this happened to me back then I played LB2 in that same level, gotten the mayor and the pink cube. I tough I broke the game, now I realize what I did back then. Thanks RuggedEagle!
Lil unrelated but there's this one thing that happened to me in lego marvel superheroes in the doc ock level me and my friend turned to spider and doc ock and we started fighting before the boss fight and ended up taking off one of doc ocks arms though our game crashed would be cool to know it can be replicated (was on ps3 )
5:54 I managed to trigger this without spamming the switch character button whilst I pulled the lever one time. I have no idea why it happened, and it hasn't happened since, but it did happen once.
I saw this while replaying Lego Pirates of the Caribbean. There's a secret interaction in the Tortuga level if you attack the ladies as Jack Sparrow, they will slap you
Is it a bird...Is it a plane? Thank you guys so much for the support 😎
Hope you all enjoy the video SUBSCRIBE!
I never played the Lego DC Games but you are convincing me

same bro
I’m so sorry
It's criminal how the BATMOBILE is faster than Wally West when he is canonically faster than the speed force itself
9:10 It is confirmed, but the roar is from Godzilla from the 1998 movie.
Lego Dimensions myth blustering 🙏

8:46 That's the 1998 Godzilla ("Zilla") roar. Don't ask me how...I just know.
Zilla fan ✊️
Oh snap it is aha thanks
4:58 there is a other way to this. If you go to free play in Arkham, select a hero, leave free play, and SOMETIMES you can play as a hero in Arkham
12:20 i remember this glitch from when i was a kid, it used to scare me for some reason, the extra toggle is so broken in this game
in lego batman 3 zebra batman can deflect any bullet and you don’t have to even play as him he has an auto shield that spawns and even when firing brainiacs shrink ray beam he isn’t shrunk
I did the "villains in the batcave" glitch by accident a couple years ago and never knew how it happened. Thank you!

Bd1p, and he did a pretty solid job
Don't forget in DC supervillains Gorilla grodd said the Justice League put the slideways teleporter into storage
I have to say, the way you hype up your videos with the shorts is really smart
I do wonder how many bosses have coding for whether they can hurt Superman or not. I would love to see if General Zod can hurt Clark in Dimensions.

The voice actors from the animated series.
the t rex one sounded like the t rex in lego jrassiuc world
Martha on these balls was the first rugged eagle joke I audibly laughed at

In Lego DC Supervillains, you can use a speedster in any vehicle to speed it up.
Thank you so much for doing my myth!!!! Also, Thank you for doing this video! ❤
Finally! Been waiting for this video for ages
You should do a video about the best cut scenes from every single Lego game
we need a new lego game
2:57 just created the reverse flash
The old laydy might be the lady from Star Wars the librarian
I'm terribly sorry, but if the name "Jocasta Nu" does not appear below the character image, she does not exist in the game.
I love these mythbusting videos! Great work once again!
Thank you so much mate
Amazing video cant wait to see what you come up with next love your videos Rugged egale
Man, I havent played any Lego games in years but I can't help coming and watching all these videos. They're just so nostalgic.

The screams are so terrifying i will never be able to sleep again after this

The screams of the people in the batcave of Lego Batman one are more notable in the DS version
