Sorry, it was hard to show. But all you have to do to install it is remove the two lower nuts, put it on and tighten the nuts. To apply it you press the brake peddle with your right foot and push it over with your left foot/toe. It's not perfect but it holds really good when it's applied. I use it all the time if I park on a hill or while I'm loading my trailer. One thing I'm always sure to do is also put it in park. Hope that answers your question. Thanks for the comment.
