This Busy box bag is the ultimate all-rounder - it can be made in the 5x7, 6x10, 7x11 and 7x12 hoop sizes, so it's ideal for lunching, cosmetics, or keeping those threads in check!
Finished dimensions of completed bag (approx.):
5x7 - 18cm W x 10cm H x 10cm D (7” x 4” x 4“)
6x10 - 25cm W x 13cm H x 13cm D (10” x 5” x 5”)
7x11 - 28cm W x 15cm H x 15cm D (11” x 6” x 6”)
7x12 - 30cm W x 18cm H x 18cm D (12” x 7” x 7”)
We used our very own Sweet Pea zipper in Black/Crystal Blue for this bag.
Full photo instructions are included with this design, this covers how to create the individual blocks as well as outlines how to assemble the bag.
There is a fair bit of machine sewing required and we recommend you are of an intermediate level.

Designs are provided in 8 different embroidery formats. The formats included are: DST, EXP*, JEF, PEC, PES, VIP, VP3 and XXX.
*BMP and INF files are also provided, these are recommended to be used with the EXP files for Bernina machines.
SVG files are included for cutting machines. Please note the SVG format can be converted to FCM within the Brother Scan n Cut software if required.

It is absolutely gorgeous!! You didn’t topstitch next to the zip - is there a reason for that?
No reason, pressing was sufficient but stitch it if you wish. There is not right or wrong way with our projects.
I think I will mark my zipper straight across with an erasable marker at the seam after pinning one side. It will be marked for the other side then. Will that work?
Yes, that is a good idea.
I’m stuck. On the back and base panel do you trim the bag stiffener back to the sitching line or keep the bulk of it in there when pressing the seam open?
The bag stiffener got trimmed when the batting was trimmed. There should only be the hoop stabiliser and the front fabric remaining in the seams.
