- I finally ticked scuba diving off of my bucket list at The Palm Hotel, Lost Chambers Aquarium in Dubai. It was an incredible experience and I'd definitely love to do more diving in the future. I was taught how to use all of the equipment, hand signals and how to descend without the help of my instructor.

1) Can we take our own go pros?.. Is it allowed for free.. Or will they charge us?
2) what is the duration for this (dive discovery)
I took my own and it was fine :) No extra charge. They only charge for the professional photos if you want them at the end.
The dive was around 30-35 mins. It depends how quickly you learn at the surface. This was my first time diving. I’d love to go back now I have my license :)

Great looking video. I noticed that there was someone taking pictures of you as well with a camera, is that a service they offer when you arrived?
Yeah they have a photographer that takes photos of everyone who dives. You can purchase the pictures afterwards :)
I'll be doing it next week, can i know what camera you've used and which settings you've selected. Great video

I used a GoPro Hero 5 Black on a floaty mount which was strapped to my wrist.
1080p on the superview setting.

Will they Let you Explore alone too?
You have to stay paired up with your buddy for safety which is common diving practise. But they will let you choose where to go whilst staying close to you. This was my first dive so I pretty much just followed the instructor. He knew the best parts to explore anyway so it was better to follow him for a better experience. I now have my open water license and have been diving a lot since this video. Hope this helps :)

@@SanskarSharma it's currently 1450 AED (£296) according to their website. I got a deal because it was ramadan during the time I visited :) If you have a diving license it is a little cheaper.
