Being old enough to have seen them live multiple times, I can tell you, there's no energy I've ever experienced at a gig to equal Oasis. They were the right band at the right time for a generation... You should view some of their live footage, the people, the volume, the electricity. Always a lively night!!
@@jasonq111 I think it was 6 I saw them, at least 4 times in Manchester -Apollo, Old Trafford Cricket Ground, City Stadium, and Heaton Park... I have at least one memory of London but, I know I went more than once in London, it's all a bit blurry 🤣 🍻
@@jeffwright9944 understood, Jeff:) I saw them at Earls Court in 95, I think. I just happened to be in London visiting friends and they had tix. I’m American. Saw them again in Dallas and in Austin, I think. Mighta been Houston……it’s blurry for me too! U are right about their energy. I never saw a band produce so much power for just standing there.
@@jasonq111 good effort, 3x in America 👏🏻 For me, in the UK, they meant so much to us, the gigs were always charged. There was always an electric atmosphere, but when people have been drinking all day in anticipation, it did spill over, which gave the crowd that bit more energy. They represented everything our generation was, the end of gen X before the world went mad 🔊🎸🥁 🍻😎
What a killer melody! Oasis is prob my fav band all time and I have a huge record collection. That’s really saying something bc I was also born in 70’. I was lucky enough to see them 3x in the 90’s and there’s just something about Noel’s songwriting that I love. Add Liam’s voice and u got a winner……love this band!
The piece of the melody that you found familiar. It has a similar chord sequence to "Stop crying your heart out".🏄♂🌞🏄♀. If you are wondering about the surfing emojis, it was the closest to a slide I could find.

Dude Duane, I love that you reacted to this song man. This song means so much to me and my gf of four years, I played this song to her and sung it on our second date (I know maybe alittle too much) but its working out lol
I had no idea you were doing the Oasis reactions on this channel! I'm a bit late but you should check out 'The Turning' it was from their final album before splitting up called Dig Out Your Soul
I would recommend to you my favourite Oasis song. "D'you Know What I Mean", but not the remastered version, but the original and with video because that has a badass video, unfortunately the remastered (rethinked version) cut short, a whole verse missing.
@@GettingbywithGerard Yeah, but I would recommend for everybody to watch the original full version of the song with video then listen to the rethink but IMO the rethink made the song worse.
I think this is one of the best love song that doesn't use the words like 'love' or 'like'. 'Let me be the one, that shines with you', how can you beat that.. maybe the original lyrics, 'Let me see the sun, that shines with you', come close to second.
Nice reaction. Please react to Liam Gallagher “Roll it over” live from Knebworth 2022. He sounds more mature and has a very powerful voice. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪 👍
Seen them live multiple times. People now who go to see Liam have missed out and think they are the biggest fans ever makes me cringe a bit. The best was because people didn’t have mobile phones that got in your way
This takes me back man‼️Manchester clubs played this local band all the time in mid nineties,I remember my girlfriend saying have you heard of oasis as she came from Manchester and I had been into underground house music and the rave scene since 1988, ahh nostalgia ❤️👀🇬🇧

If I was at Maine road I’d have been awake for days, amazing
I saw them 3x in the 90’s as well and I just love them. Somewhere they crossed over from indie to classic rock. Noel’s songwriting is world class.

That was my first dance song at my wedding. Banger
Try ‘Don’t Go Away’- A great tune that Oasis released in their prime.
There prime was in 95

I would say there are ones he should prioritise more than these like rock and roll star and cigarettes and alcohol

Little James 😂

Congrats homie! Four years is a beautiful thing, it worked that’s all that matters 😂
This is absolutely prime Oasis, absolute perfection!
Oasis - The Girl in The Dirty Shirt, catchy little song from them.

If you're doing ones you've already heard react to the live versions instead.
Champagne Supernova Earls court 95 is 🔥
No.....the budokan version live is way better with the guitar solo at the end

The Rethink audio is just as long and better sounding than original

Awesome reactions man, please dont stop with Oasis
I highly recommend you to check out Songbird by them too
i hope you enjoyed that Slide Away Knebworth performance i sent over a couple weeks ago
🌞 You could try an Acoustic song by Noel, 'Talk Tonight' or crowd favourite 'Half the World Away.'
Talk tonight is so fkin good

That familiar feeling you get is just Oasis man, their melodies are so catchy you feel like you have known it your whole life
Yeah mate I felt that way the first time I listened to Definitely Maybe
@Dan-fp2nu It's nothing to do with this song in particular though, many Oasis songs have that feeling
It’s when a song pulls something out of your soul, that you’ve had in there since you were born 😂
Liam Gallagher- One of us
Don't look back in anger and Champagne Supernova are must to hear!!!
I'm sure it's, "slide little baby" 🤔 If it isn't, then that's what I've been singing for years! 😂

I still prefer the acoustic version sung by Noel with Gem on percussion. ☀️
They are the best band of the 90d
Love seeing yourself reactions of the best songs of the 90s
U missed the opening note. Always brings a smile to my face that
Do 'Bring it on Down' next. Very punk rock.

Slide Away is one of those Oasis tracks that makes me think... How the hell does someone write that?
