He left me for his ex-wife, who right now is married to another man! He's still living in sin lol...he cheated on me then tried to spin it on me that I didn't have the money to finish my divorce at this time. That's OK, God didn't intend him for me and for the first time in my adult life (I'm 45), I'm single and have never felt more free. It's just God and I and I'm loving the life he gave me. True Freedom and unconditional love. He waited 45 years for this sinner to finally see the truth, trust in him, submit to him, so I know the job he has for me is BIG and I'm finally ready to embrace it. I wish I could be like you, be able to say I was married 30, 40 years, but that wasn't the path he chose for me and I'm good with that. Can't wait to see what God has for me next! My ex, showed up to my old job and kidnapped me to take me from Texas to Oklahoma. He broke my phone. He unbuckled my seatbelt to fling me out the car on the way there, twice. This was almost 2 years into our relationship.

Just make sure that above all he listens to you and doesn't just blow you off or make you feel like it's your fault because you aren't feeling it. An example of this is one of my exes told me I ruined the mood when he tried to do anal but it kept hurting. So he pulled out and went to finish himself in my closet. So I have to preface my story with two things, one it was a silly middle school relationship that wasn’t really a big thing looking back and two, he is one of my absolute best friends now. Wouldn’t trade him for the world.
So, my ex and I dated for eight months in eighth grade. He broke my heart by breaking up on our eight month anniversary (ridiculous, I know, but at 14, DEVASTATING) but we remained friends throughout high school. After graduation we drifted apart but fast forward 12 years and we reconnect. We spent a long time catching up, which involved him coming out to me and us just sharing a lot about the parts of our lives that we missed plus stuff we remembered from school. This included him telling me about a guy he kissed the summer before eighth grade. I did some quick math and go “you just admitted to cheating on me!!” He was genuinely shocked and had no memory of the two things overlapping. His response was “You can not get mad at me for something that happened 17 years ago!” To which I replied “I can when I just found out!” before I busted out laughing. I’m glad I never knew because 14 year old me’s heart would have shattered and I don’t think we would have had the chance to build the friendship we had in high school and I certainly wouldn’t have gone to look him up last year. 30 year old me saw the whole thing as comical, particularly how non-chalantly he accidentally admitted it 😂

I have MANY stories that line up perfectly with this song, but heres one that shows JUST HOW STUPID my ex actually was.
My ex showed up to my job 5 mins. Before close (I was a manager). I had to bring the deposit to the bank every night that I closed. I asked him to follow me there because I hated going by myself at night because I didn't want to get robbed or anything. He said he was too tired and wanted to go home and lay down (again, we only had 5 mins. until we closed). I'm driving home, and I see a car that looks like his at the bar. Figured there's NO WAY he would be that stupid. But he was. I got home, and his car wasn't there. He finally came home over an hour later and asked why I was being weird. Told him I was mad because he said he was tired and wouldn't even follow me to the bank (right across the street from my job) to make sure I didn't get robbed, because he was "too tired" yet he went to the bar for over an hour. He said, "I just wanted to have a drink" and I told him, "well, you could've told me that and I would've came with you. You could've followed me and we could've met there." He kept on with excuses, and I told him that it's actually comical how he doesn't see that he did something wrong. Then he said I was being a b****🤷🏼♀️🙄😅

But when it came to me and him having days off together he never wanted to do anything. Ended up trying to sneak around with one of the girls he cheated on me w again but I caught him in action.( plus me and her became best friends) He didn’t like that me and her were friends after I caught him talking to her only at work (he worked nights) so only time he was away from me and awake. Blamed me for him having to talk to other girls bc i wasn’t giving him enough love. Tried telling me I was fuckin my ex and multiple people. Then him and the girl I considered my sister went out and bought a snake together(that stayed in my room and he tried to tell me that “now we truly can’t lose each other”) Locked him and the chick i called my sister in MY room together talking about “boy problem’s” but the picture I have proves different, she would only come in my room when i wasn’t home. So finally I kicked him out and then he tried telling me I was kicking him to the streets and making him homeless and ruining his life. Finally not even a week later I get a call from a friend who has him on sc that he posted that him and the girl i once called my sister were engaged😂 plus they are now living together😂
My ex got mad because I left him and two years later came crawling back after seeing my engagement announcement on Facebook. He was proud to say he was making all the changes I had begged him to make for 13 years-and he proved them to me but only long enough to reel me back in! When I broke up with my new finance and became fully committed to making it work with the ex he called me and informed me he had been out with 5 other women THAT week and had sex with 3 of them!
