This is where you see how schemey and trashy toxic feminist soap operas like Hollyoaks are.

I can totally understand what it is that you are saying but all I would do is perhaps use a different word to “weirdo”. People with mental health issues have been looked upon as “weirdo’s” and many other terribly degrading titles for so many years. Perhaps just change the wording for that part of your comments. @@ChelseyLinden did you know they killed Marnie off cause Lynette Anthony ( the woman who played her) told the producers she had Parkinson’s . she said she was scared of telling the producers about the disease she stated she had a large amount of control over because she was afraid of loosing her job. It’s disgusting that she was fired just for her illness, they should have given her a support plan of some kind or something instead of firing her.

I knew it. I predicted this from the start. He's an incel. The language he used. Cuck and Chad. Those are terms commonly used by incel's. This is gonna develop and become way more sinister and Eric is gonna do something really bad and I am interested in how they develop this storyline. And before anyone asks i know about incel culture cusbthere is a book that a female jorunalist wrote about the time she went undercover in the world of incels and pick up artists. She has been interviewed about her book a few times so thats how I know about it.
I’ve never even heard of that term before so I thank you for bringing this up and identifying something that is prevalent in todays online society.

People become incels because they can't find relationships, not the other way around. Being an incel isn't exclusively due to physical attractiveness either, although it can be a factor, or one of many factors. Eric clearly has severe issues interacting with and forming relationships with other people.
His desire for a relationship with a woman is his focus because that's what men most desire in this world, but his foundational issue is that he can't form relationships with anyone let alone a woman. The problem is that he's not really aware of that in the first place so he finds himself confused and searching for answers about why he can't get a relationship.
So first steps for him would be to start forming relationships with real people and this first starts by finding a community he can be part of in real life, such as a photography club, or whatever it is that he likes. If he's not sure what he likes then he can simply try things until he finds something he takes a liking to.
He may also need to read guides on social interaction and conversational prompts, and spend time observing other people's interactions. The latter is similar to how children learn to interact with each other, but since he's underdeveloped in this area he needs to do the same.

The vast, vast majority of women are attracted to a reasonable amount of muscularity, although they might settle for less if the options are otherwise favourable. You're right about beards being more variable though.
