Amazing visibility for the pacific side and great hunting. I'm coming over this week. Will probably be moving there at some point later. Will be diving one of the days of the coming week too.
Born and raised in the Canal Zone. My dad was a big spearo. Free dove both the Atlantic and Pacific side for many many years. He's passed on now, but do you spear inside of the causeway new Panama City? Maybe direct you to a few of his old spots. Pulled alot of snook and corvina out of those "spots". You go after jewfish? See alot of dogtooths. Nice vid. Well done.
Thats awesome. Im starting to dive around the city a bunch but I’ve never tried the spots along the causeway. All i know is that you have to get lucky with a clear day. I definitely go for the big dogtooth snappers but i leave the jewfish be. Definitely interested in shooting more snook and corvina.
@@LMSpearfishing My dad always called it pea soup diving. The biggest snook he ever took from the Pacific, 56lbs, was from a white buoy that marked the end of the anchorage, in side towards the city. That buoy would hold some of the biggest snook he would ever see in and around that specific spot. He was sure there was other structure near by, but never found it. One thing we were never bothered by sharks inside. Out by Bona or other places, it could get real sharky. Off of Tabagia Pointe, there is a wreck of a Tuna Boat tender. It is upside down, but is home to an eel and always held lobster. If I get your email, Ill send some pics, you'll enjoy them. We used to go out of the old spinning club in Diablo.
@@LMSpearfishing As well, the Smithsonian had a Lab on the causeway. Not sure if it is still there. Causeway has changed so much. However, the pilings that held the lab up, we free dove in there and one of the biggest snook, 64lbs, I have ever seen, came out of there. Absolutely massive. It kinda looked strange. The head of the fish looked like it belonged on a 20-25 lb snook, but the body was massive. Look like a damn body builder with no neck.

muy buen video y buenas piezas, solo que da mucha tristesa ver como hay tanta basura, en el mar.
