I believe there's one interview where Sara's Mom said, when she shakes these two hands on the mourning service, she knew that it was them who did it to Sara.
the audacity to come and trying to blend in with other genuine friends of hers shows how arrogant they were..
and I believe all those stuff used to torture Sara was there ready because they have planned it, they deserved the punishment and even more.

    • @CrimesAnatomy
      @CrimesAnatomy  6 місяців тому +40

Oh wow, I didn't come across this interview. But I was aware her mom said she had a bad dream that night that something terrible happened to Sara and she is no longer alive, the dad didn't believe it, and admitted he was in denial even after seeing the body (especially since it was barely recognizable as his daughter).
Call it mothers intuition , or comments made in hindsight, either way it's clear this woman misses her daughter dearly and is in pain.

Me too almost, while editing.. it was the hardest part of this whole episode. A mom coming to grips with the loss of her only child, and recognising the evil in this world, and conversation with her God…

I actually went to the same high school as Sara. She had just graduated when I entered so she was 3 years older. I remember my teachers telling stories about what a good and kind student Sara was. And I also remember many news reporters interviewing students at my school and asking about this horrible tragedy. It was the talk of the town and we were all saddened by this.

Imagine the pain the victim's parents had endured. They showered their only child with love and compassion, did everything they could to provide the best upbringing for her, and never once hurt her physically and mentally. But some crazy, evil young adults took her life and all her dream away, with no 2nd thought, with no guilt.

I listened to her mother's speech a few times to understand exactly what she was saying. I understand both Indonesian and English. Was she saying that at the point of the funeral, she was immersed in God the Fathers' love which enabled her to forgive the 2 murderers? She was speaking in a picture form like being immersed in water, and liken it to being immersed in God's love. To forgive at that stage is something she could not have done naturally and possible only with the power of God. If this is true, she really knows the heart of God deeply. It is a very emotional message.

    • @CrimesAnatomy

Yes you hit it spot on. She is talking about her strong faith and being pulled into God and his test of her faith, but she laments, don’t hug me closer , I can’t take this anymore.
It’s poetic, touching… and affected me greatly, I had to put this in.. sometimes paying the price for curiosity into more than what I bargain for.
Someone said she is naive, no… this is not, this is making a painful decision because of her strength in her belief to forgive people because that is what Jesus wanted and died for.

In Indonesia there is no "crime show" that explain everything in this detail, back then I follow this case based on wht media write, they write separate articles and I always get the less details especially the chronology
If there is a show that covered this story is not about how the culprit motives, the condition of victim and culprit, what kind of weapon and how they murder it, when and why always not their main focus. It is always about how the family feelings, that they turned it as a drama.

7:23 when you just said he was trying to “reaquire” her, it was such an accurate depiction of the situation I got a physical chill
12:13 that’s one of the most messed up things they did. Use her own trauma and kindness and compassion against her to kidnap and torture and kill her. And then saying they just planned to kidnap her for revenge is clearly BS. So what? You expect them to believe you were just gonna kidnap her? And then what? Just let her go free right? All just a game….. SMH 🤦‍♀️😩
23:42 if you’re kidnapped, especially by someone you know, chances are, their intention is for you to not leave that situation alive. That would pose too much risk in them actually getting caught. So no. I don’t believe for one second that it wasn’t premeditated or that they didn’t intend to kill her.

    • @CrimesAnatomy
      @CrimesAnatomy  6 місяців тому +3

Yes 🙌 exactly. It’s all the facts, but mixed in with personal commentary by way of focusing on the actions.
He was very much trying to publicly humiliate her on twitter, when that didn’t work, he hired a hacker. When even that didn’t work he devised this evil plan using his gf. Why is so dumb to go along with it… I believe she was jealous too. Two jealous people commit the ultimate evil against the person who did nothing to them.
I swear the more of these cases I cover the more I start to believe there is some good vs evil thing where bad things specifically happen to good people due to some unforeseen reason.

I remember clearly when this case happened. It left such an impact on me because all of them (perpetrators & victim) were around my age, like they could’ve been any of my seniors or people I walked past during my intensive courses (bimbel). The high school they went to was still in the same area as mine. But what disturbed me the most was how Assyifa had no remorse of what she did, just completely consumed by jealousy & hatred. Not to mention the anger she must had felt knowing that Hafitd still had feelings for Ade Sara even after they broke up (how else could we explain Hafitd’s insistence on meeting & talking with Ade Sara that afternoon?). I also still remember a post on Path implying that they left a note written “mampus lo” (translation: “you’re dead”) next to Ade Sara’s corpse. Something so juvenile & petty, that is teenage jealousy, costed a young woman her life, parents with an only child their child, & a couple who could have written their own stories anew their futures. Really can’t grasp the feelings Ade Sara’s parents must have been feeling. I hope her parents’ days were filled with love, solace, & strength from good people around them.

I totally get your doubts. The paper was never found by authorities, so it was never put into the system. All I am sure of is that there were articles from trusted media sources mentioning the existence of said paper.
Another painful detail that popped into my mind when I reached the end of your video is how Ade Sara’s mom already had this gut feeling that Assyifa took part in it, that by the time Assyifa came up to her, she responded with love & said, “Has she ever wronged you? If Ade Sara ever wronged you, I’m asking you to forgive her”. This was also from an Indonesian-languaged article. Honestly that woman’s heart is made of light.

Watched this on TV via YT. Compelled to comment. Am Malaysian, but familiar w Jakarta and Indonesia generally.
Imam Hafids a nice name, Imam is Leader/ Priest, Asyifa means Healer, Ade Sara is beautiful so is her mum, but they are Christians while Hafids and assyifa are muslims.
It is indeed heartwrenching for the parents to have lost their only lovely Daughter, who had a bright future mapped out ahead of her, Psychology and German language.
To Me Hafidz is the Master Criminal, altho a doctor's child, probably quite rich, is a spoiled child, who could not accept AdeSara rejections. His friendship to Assyifa is Only to USE her to get back to AdeSara, hence he also abused Assyifa who stupidly still hang on to him.
Assyifa accessory to murder is NOT premeditate, she was being used, she should have got a lighter sentence, maybe 10-15 years imprisonment.
Imam Hafids had Killed AdeSara with a weapon, the Taser, physical beatings, probably choking her.
In Malaysia, he would be sentenced Death by Hanging.
    He is sick mentally.
In prison he would be brutally tortured and sodomised.
( yesterday in Malaysia, 6 military guys were sentenced hanging to death for murdering their other friend by torture and with hot iron plates)

It's a shame they were so lenient on Hafidz, because it's not like they were remorseful and they committed worse acts after dumping Ade Sara's body as well. I would have expected him to get a harsher penalty, but maybe it couldn't be proven without a doubt it was an accident or premeditation.

7:40 Remember dear Parents of a daughter/s, always track your daughters "BOYFRIEND", do silent background check, identify MANCHILD behavior, "talk" to him if necessary.

20 years is not enough should be life in prison

It is heartbreaking the pain her parents displayed. These monsters should never been released from prison, they premeditated her murder no question about.

Thanks for commenting , it was hard to watch, and the impact of these crimes is a reminder it’s a person just like us…

They both certainly deserved life in prison. The ex-boyfriend clearly was brought up to be entitled and no doubt had a very fragile ego. To be so callous and evil at such an early age meant that they would not hesitate to do more bad things in the future. Glad they are not free to roam in society anymore.

@2:10 It's so crazy to hear you describe Indonesia's identification system as advanced, but then I remembered the US Social Security Card system. 🤣

"controlling ex-boyfriend" or "ex-husband" - two most horrifying words for women.

Agree, women who deal with this should take a stricter pre-emptive stance, scare them by 1) Telling police 2) Getting a big dog, getting a strong bf/husband :D Just brainstorming, don't take me too seriously
