Kiendinh establishes a set in a giant birdcage filled with Gender Stereotypes. In there, the main character is two puppets: DAON and his best friend PUNU have to perform a special play every day for a specified time and are supervised by mysterious forces around the cage. They have to struggle with many difficulties and try to find a way to release themselves from the shackles that hold them back.
KIENDINH is made to raise audiences' awareness of the harmful effects of Gender Stereotypes, and at the same time join hands to fight and eliminate them to gradually move towards gender equality in society.
KIENDINH is a graduation capstone project of 3 graphic design students from FPT University.
An 8-minute 3D short film was completed from rough concept to final production within 4 months.

If you want to know about the meaning of this animation, you should check the description. To be fair the meaning are telling the truth that this is happened a lot in our society.
"Kien dinh" is a Vietnamese word that means: Consistent about sth. And thank for that "Kien dinh" make we get through a lot of things in our life. Thank for the works and shout out to the animator who create this master pieces.

how come others can't understand this?? the point of the story should be clear when the timer runs out.. you could also be getting the hints when the two are not doing their supposed actions and the overseers are not happy about it.. tho at first.. I did thought this is about religion..

Of course, just because one doesn't want to conform to gender stereotypes doesn't mean the need to change their gender. Kids should learn more about that too.

Механизм под названием "Kiendinh" устанавливает декорации в гигантской птичьей клетке, наполненной гендерными стереотипами. Главными героями являются две марионетки, ДАОН и ПУНУ, которые каждый день в определенное время разыгрывают особую пьесу и находятся под присмотром таинственных сил вокруг клетки. Им приходится бороться со многими трудностями и пытаться найти способ освободиться от сковывающих их оков. Мультипликационный проект "Kiendinh" создан для того, чтобы повысить осведомленность аудитории о пагубном влиянии гендерных стереотипов и в то же время объединить усилия для борьбы и устранения их, чтобы постепенно двигаться к гендерному равенству в обществе.
