I've not seen something like that in far cry 5 but the deputy has some sick hand to hand combat moves. Does not even need a machete to take care of the cultists.
The club takedowns are similar with the chieftain club takedowns, but if you notice the chieftain takedowns have more "weight" to them, taking a longer time to hit, staying longer due to the weight of the larger blunt object.
@@thunder6667 Wasn't about laziness, as I already have the recordings from all of them so the work was done anyway. I didn't want to put repetitive clips in the video. I just saw my recordings archive again and they seem identical to me, any slight variance would be due to the physics of the enemy falling down depending on where they are standing but that is not part of the animation keyframes, and also the wolf some times leaves the head earlier but its the same movement from what I can see.

I have learned from far cry 3, 4, and primal games that if the enemy in the outpost is busy doing something like sitting on fire camp or wielding something as seen in far cry 3 they will never detect your takedown if you did it to some other enemy behind these working enemy if done stealthly this is think the trick Clockner and Gtealthgamebr use to give ou this nice content on outpost liberation hope it helps you guys
Ok your wording is a little confusing but I think I know what you meant because I played fc3 a few days ago. I did a chain takedown on two guys one facing me but tying his shoe and the other facing away from me, the guy tying his shoe didn’t see me until the guy facing away’s body started to drop to the floor (but it was too late because I already initiated the chain takedown so he was done for). Which is really cool.

I wonder if most takedowns not planting the spear and knife too deep into bodies is intentional with the weapons being just sharp rocks instead of sharpened metal
I love how these spin-offs come in between the main series. We had the Future, then the Past, and we even had an Alternate Present. DLCs were strange, though. I mean the myth of The Yeti, Outer Space, Zombie Apocalypse, that badass yet out of nowhere Far Cry X Stranger Things crossover, and of course the game mode where you play and see through the minds of three of the most psychotic villains in the entire series, Vaas Montenegro, Pagan Min, and Joseph Seed
Death from above was super busted balance wise in this game. With pretty much all enemies being melee based it was too easy to drag almost every enemy to a gentle slope.
the logic in this game is a bit wrong since at that time swimming was not yet discovered and something that caught my attention was that most of the animations were recycled from far cry 3 and 4 or I don't know if it was first far cry primal and then far cry 3
Oxygen also was not discovered yet and im pretty sure they could breath

Y'all saying far cry primal logic is wrong because swimming wasn't discovered, but ignore how in FC3 and other FC games when you jump on an enemy to takedown him you land in your feet and take no damage, even if you jumped from 50 feet.
He wasn't killing wenja they are the good NPCs the people he's killing in the vid are the enemies of the wenja they're the udam and the izla, the izla are the people who have the blue paint all over they're bodies they like putting fire on they're weapons sometimes. the udam are the more cave Manish, brutish enemies they eat wenja.

why is everyone hating on primal and 5's takedowns? I loved all the bonking, snapping and clobbering in 5, it was much faster and efficient (and looked and sounded hillarious.) and in primal... you could choose wich weapon to take down your enemies with, and I was SPOILED with choice (even if it wasnt a lot)

You have to unlock the skill first. In order to actually perform the takedown once you have the skill, you have to jump onto your opponent from above.
