No, if you've noticed what happens when you hit a move, you'll notice that it slows down a bit compared to if you did that move without hiting something, so, I removed that, which basically mean there's no lag when hitting a move, and therefore, lessening hitstun.
you know how when you hit a powerful move it makes the character getting hit stay in place for a sec to give it "powerful" effect? it got rid of that, so when they get hit they're launched away instantaneously
Melee/PM have way less hitlag and it honestly looks a lot better and allows for more DI mixups because you can't react and adjust during the hitlag. Some big moves like Knee need some hitlag to feel impactful but Ult way over does it.

Some people may argue this is either less satisfying or more satisfying than actual hitlag. It just looks horrifying in my opinion

No it means there’s no stun animation after being hit. Or rather, there’s no hitstun
