I really like this series. I think they do well without John. Some of the stuff in it is the most weird stuff they ever did. It also shows a possable way forward the group could have taken. Another series of 6 episodes where each episode was one story. Like Mr Nutron or Micheal Ellis would have worked well. Kind of like Ripping Yarns but more Python. That would have really worked.
Ok with the wind blowing Graham chapman looks so hot. i am finding soem goofy sketches in this season lol. Eric=epitome of hot and cuteness. i love him lol. such a funny sketch the opening smile,God loves you
I love the opening's schizophrenic theme. I can make out some of what they were saying, surprisingly. First one was about a plane Eric shot down, and the second was about a bombing raid.
Damn right. The Michael Ellis episode was genius. All those TVs? And she asks him to get a couple more like they were loaves of bread. If Cleese was relieved of the pressure of acting, then his talents went into writing alone?
@Kain456 Bally = intensifier Jerry = German Pranged his kite = crashed his plane How's your father = Casual sex Hairy blighter = Reference to hairy caveman = stupid person Dicky birdied = Dicky = injured, so reference to aerial manoeuvre that looks like an injured bird; probably a corkscrew Feathered back on his sammy = slowed down his engine Took a waspy = got shot (stung) Flipped over on his Betty Harper's = turned upside-down Caught his can in the Bertie: Plane sunk in the sea
well. "Bally Jerry" is "bloody germans" "pranged his kite" is something to do with his plane and I'm not sure what the "how's-your-father" is. The next bit is saying that (some one) got hit, the plane flipped, and (something else).
'Up your Pavement was filmed along Cowick street in the St Thomas area of Exeter you know! And if you go further up you'll get to the Sawyers Arms - Weatherspoon's pub!

"Get me the prime minister. Not that quickly!" One of my favorite lines!

So far, my fave season is this one. But my fave episode is "Intermission" because of the beginning sketch. Super funny.

hihihi... I love the small pause they all take, and then...
"Naaaah..."
@HereticDante Totally! Even the 'comical' version of the song is awesome :)
one of the greatest starts of the show
the face at the end is priceless

Pretty much what I made of it. In short terms, he bought the farm aso
Probably my favorite episode
Near as I can figure, he's saying that a german fighter suffered some sort of engine damage and began to wobble, stalled, flipped over and crashed.

Did aynone make any sence out of the RAF banter? Because I can't make heads our tales of it.
John did not want to do the 4th (and last) series. So the others did it without him.
@Kain456 Good show!
yes that is him

I think I got Michael Palin's banter, but eric idle's was a bit iffy.
Totally

@drsdino I couldn't make heads or tails, but I could make arses and elbows
Wow in the past KFC restaurants looked nice and classy...
@Capng123 Yeah, that's what I got
Cómo esforzaba la voz Mike. Por eso con el tiempo su voz se fue esfumando. 😟💕
I wanted to watch Up Your Pavement....
Terry Gilliam. Great artist. Terrible actor.
