This might be one of my favorite videos you've done! I've been dreaming of visiting Scotland and this just really added to the reasons why. I love the old buildings up on the cliff overlooking the city. I'm also just a huge fan of taking public transportation to and from airports, so I'm keeping this in my back pocket for the day I can finally visit. What a beautiful ride!

Highly unlikely. It is now next to Redford Infantry Barracks in Colinton, opposite Merchison Castle School. Can't see it moving again, at least while the barracks is still Army property.
That looked relatively quick! I've not ventured down that part of the city since pre-Covid. The last time I took Airlink 100, it crawled from Murrayfield all the way to the airport slip road. I missed my flight. Since then, I've always driven myself or taken the tram. At least with the tram, once it gets to Haymarket you're pretty much guaranteed to get to the airport, no matter how bad the traffic.
Was the tram not supposed to over this route but of course its Edinburgh no wonder. It just reminds me why I left. The Corporation could not organise a piss up in a brewery unless there were brown envelopes available. It is amazing the amount of "bookies" on the route. Nothing changes.
I visited Edinburgh in the 1980’s and all the buildings were black with grime. I went again 30 years later and they’ve all had a facelift, look wonderful now.
Great video. Good to know they moved the city centre stop away from Waverly Bridge. When did that happen? Wasn't like this when i was last in Edinburgh in 2019. Would have been a surprise for my visit in August.
Be warned,considering its not a cheap ride into Town if you arent on the ball you will be standing all the way into Edinburgh as they stuff as many people on board as they can get away with.

Theres a lot of cleaning to be done, unfortunately Edinburgh council has virtually banned stone cleanning.

Happened in June 2020. It was a Covid thing. The City Council decided to close or narrow a lot of roads to give more space for pedestrians.
