So she finally changed her opinion. Caitlin still has a way to go, but she's only going to get better. They just need to get comfortable with each other on the court.

How to sabatoge Clatin Clark and the Fever team. Coaching moves:
    • Constantly change the lineup.
    • Allow opposition scoring runs without calling time outs.
    • Call timeouts to break Fever momentum.
    • Bench your star player when she gets hot.
    • Don't prep team coming off big wins.
    • Take the ball out of your star player's hands in the cluch.
    • Let basic team skills languish with no development coaching.
    • Be active to appear to coach, but don't actually coach.
    • Play marginal players to allow opponents to catch up/ take the lead.
    • Stick with game plan that doesn't.
    • Don't go back to game plans that have worked.

    There is no argument.
Caitlin Clark is the first player in WNBA *or NBA history to hit all these numbers in one game:
    29 PTS
    5 REB
    13 AST
    5 STL
    3 BLK

*steals and blocks were first officially tracked in 1973-74.

They are helping Resse get her double double in the last three games .She is getting points at the very end of the game or the Refs calls fouls and she make her free throws. You see how wide open Reese be for her shots. Smh
Who be that open in last min of games

First of all she's going by position, her first two picks were front courts, they were apparently her first thoughts that came to mind- Bonner and Ogwumike. So it's possible in her mind that hey that's it for my front court, so that rules out Angel, and now here are my back court players. But hard to deny that she did name CC and didn't name Angel.
Also CBS Sports just did an article on Caitlin where they literally said Caitlin is "probably the best point guard in the WNBA right now." Wow that is amazing praise for a girl with 22 games under her belt.

If CC gets 2 more double doubles she equals the record for D/Ds with assists instead of rebounds
So if she beats that she has done what Reese has done, pkus all the extra stats and records she has made
Then there's no argument for AR anymore

      @@flyhippieofficial
Sorry I didn't explain that properly
      It would be consecutively
Reese has the double double record for points and rebounds
But CC is only 3 away from points and assists as a consecutive double double record
But it is much harder to get a point and assists D/D so the amount you need is a lot lower✌️

Caitlin Clark put up 29 points, 13 assists, five rebounds and five steals. Indiana shot 53% from the floor and the Fever lost - WTF is it with the way that coach runs that team, missed layups, dropped passes, missed open 2pt and 3pt shoots,

  • @DonaldBruceSmith

When Clark is putting up all these numbers, it becomes really hard to not walk away from previous thoughts and comments, otherwise as they said of Bird, Clark can make you look stupid and not seeing just a few of Clark's numbers and these numbers can make you look stupid if you do not.
    1) Clark leads WNBA in points scored or assisted on(Joni)" League, Not a Rookie record
    2) Clark is Second in the WNBA for assists per Game League, Not a Rookie record
    3) Clark leads the WNBA in 3PT made, posting 54 threes League, Not a Rookie record
    4) Clark became the fastest player in WNBA history to record 350 points and 150 assists League, Not a Rookie record
    7) Clark has a #2 ranking in the ESPN WNBA Player Stats 2024, League, Not a Rookie record

@@jmommy881 not selective, just used a few to keep the comment short.
I can hardly wait to see Clark's numbers after she completes her "transition" to the play and players in the WNBA.
Here is my list of what is not being talked about
1a) The new WNBA Player Stats 2024 are out and Clark has moved from # 3 to # 2 and Reese has dropped from # 50 by 4 positions to # 54
Clark has one more win overall as a team and has a 2-1 lead head-to-head,"
The fever is now ranked #7 the Sky is at # 8

      5) MVP ROTY Clark in 22 games passes Sue Bird as the rookie with the most points-assists double-doubles (5) in league history. Rookie record
      6) ROTY Clark makes WNBA history with the first-ever rookie triple-double Rookie record
      7) MVP ROTY Clark has a #2 ranking in the ESPN WNBA Player Stats 2024
      8) ROTY Clark leads all first-year players with an average of 16.1 points and 7.4 assists.
      9) ROTY Clark is the only player in the rookie class to be in the Top 5 in major statistical categories, such as points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks.
      10) Clark after just 22 games is already on the list for being one of the top 30 guards of all-time for double-doubles Guards tying Kelsey Plum with 5 League, not Rookie records
It appears that special Clark's silent whistle seems to have given Reese more trips than Clark to the Foul line in fewer games than Clark.

@@DonaldBruceSmith And one thing almost no one talks about is the degree of difficulty for CC of playing against the best her opponents can bring each game- not only because of Clark's superstardom, but also because they are playing in front of sold out crowds and generally a million or more TV viewers each game. Angel's team is likely not getting that same treatment by opponents. And also the absolute cascade of media and social media attention on CC. Even if she tries to shut it out, it's still reaching her. She is like Messi everywhere she goes, and a 22 year old rookie. Angel couldn't possibly understand that pressure, because hers is an order of magnitude less than what CC is facing. Probably no player in league history could know even remotely what CC is facing, not even DT.

@@5Don5 Clark is doubled-teamed, Reese is Double Dribbling, Clark is seeing all the best of defenders in the WNBA and is top of the scouting report, Reese gets to play in space as her team blocks out other teams and does not go to get rebounds, from her missed layups - shooting 40% from layups.

In the 4th quarter Reese had 3 rebounds off her own missed shots!!!!!!! Are we stat padding here!!!!!!!! Reese needed those 3 rebounds to giver her 10 for the night 7/11/2024 Reese should never had broke the record. In a game before she supposably broke it, Reese went in for a lay up and the shot was blocked. The ball never hit the rim or backboard, and Reese caught the ball out of bounds. They gave her a rebound for it to give her 10 for the night!!!!!

I'm not a Sheryl apologizer, but I do wonder if she had confused Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin somewhat. Kate was a 6th year senior and I've heard others conflate the two. Still no excuse on the other completely off base comments tho.
I feel like Sheryl just never watched Clark before speaking about her. If you watch Clarks first game when Sheryl was one of the announcers, you could almost hear hwr going through the 7 stages; she started out downplaying Clark's playing but by the end, even Sheryl couldn't ignore the excitement Clark brings to the court.
