seriously, this is so fire. When you said you had a crush, i cried "ME TOO!" even tho I'm old enough to be his mother. I think this is my favourite song of theirs on the album.. the dancing, as always, is spectacular. lovelovelove this whole project... it's art.
So, Volcano is the album and it's also a visual album/motion picture. It's already available to watch in full on their website for a fee, but they're releasing it track by track on youtube (and out of order, unfortunately) but will eventually release the full movie, I think. A few members of Jungle actually do appear in the videos, just not as dancers. The two guys in the chairs in front of the TV screens in the little scenes that play before/after each song are members of the band. I love how diverse the cast of dancers are and the videos are super queer and POC-centric. If you like the ballroom elements, you'll love the video for Holding On, it's very very ballroom (that's the one they teased at the end of this). I also really love the video for You Ain't No Celebrity, but don't get me wrong, they're all great. And yeah, Will West is... insane. Every dancer in the group is super talented but he's just on another level. He adds so much passion and texture to every move that people doing the same thing right next to him end up looking like amateurs.
Thank you! You’ve explained it all so perfectly and everything kinda makes sense now lol. Now I’m less confused about the whole era, so it’s a VISUAL ALBUM !?? Ohhh okayyy ! No wonder why everytime I would look them up there’s a Brand New music video uploaded on their channel . Wow ! Didn’t know that but thank you very much for your time .
