I used to have the Rigol 1054Z but sold it and got a Siglent 1104X-E instead. This was mainly due to the fact that it can do bode plots in conjunction with my siglent signal generator, not because I didn't like the Rigol. In some respects the Rigol, although it has a lower bandwith, beats the Rigol, for instance it has way more triggering functions and I found it a little more intuitive to work with (its also a matter of 'getting used to' of course). What the Siglent does do better though in my opinion is the X-Y mode.
Great question! Thanks for asking! Mostly because the lowest cost 4 channel, the DHO804 lists for $439 - but it was tempting since it is on sale now. This video will be up for awhile and while it is on sale now for $373 this could change and then I'll get complaints that it is over $400. Here's the link to the sale on the DHO804: amzn.to/3ZNooc1 In the next few days I'll do a video about the best scopes under $500 and I'll cover this.
This guy wastes his time leaving pointless messages about how he doesn't have time to waste - LOL If you knew what they were showing compared to this - than you probably wouldn't need to watch this one - I recommend you do - so you can learn how scopes work and know the differences in the reviews
Thanks! Have a good Christmas.
Thanks for your feedback! Merry Christmas!
Great comparison video. Thanks for taking the time to make it.
Great discussion on the fine points of using these scopes! Being a slow learner, I will watch this one again...
I appreciate that! I know it is long - but i wanted to really demonstrate their features. I have a part 2 to show even more features.

This guy takes more than 1 hour of talking to perform what on other channels take like 20 min. Who has 1:15 to waste these days?

That is why it is good to have multiple options. There are plenty of channels that do quickie superficial reviews for low information people like you.
Seglent sds814 please review video
Thank you! This is coming in the next couple of days;)
Cheap scope heaven.
Yes - it is unbelievable how good a low cost is in 2024!
Weeee
LOL thanks!
