Yayo has been making this the most authentic barbershop I’ve seen in this show in a while, no disrespect to Math. I think they’ve gotten used to podcasts and were thrown off when Yayo treated it exactly like it is supposed to be, a barbershop conversation!
The interview with Murda Mook was similar. It was like these cats were able to be the authentic self...the feel wen you hanging with them on the block. No other platform gets this out of the guest.
No he just using the platform to catapult his own podcast (Vlad let it slip already) he's doing too much not knocking his hustle, but its not authentic he's being extra because he knows his next move. Keep it 1000.

I like how Yayo validated everything Bigga was saying while arguing against everything Bigga was saying
He ain’t argue against it. He just said it’s what he LIVED. He wasn’t glorifying shit. Lol
The real issue is the record companies won't fund that music and people won't buy it. There are lots of positive rappers, but we get Glorilla and Zay Osama. Young people see what gets chosen and they try to make music to emulate it. The cycle continues to go on. Biggs had a point, but he's focusing on the symptoms and not the disease.
That was his reality. Its like asking fif’ to smile back in the days. N*gag hardly smile. He didn’t know what smiling was all about. That was his reality.

Irony of an artist: No artist likes to hear or think that someone is even implying that their music, image and public behavior might have a negative influence on fans. They don't accept accountability for that. But every artist feels good to hear and read someone say that their music inspired them or changed their life. They take all credit and accountability for that.
Absolutely true.

Tony Yayo has been your best guest ever!!! Hands down. I really hope he comes back again cos this was great. I think he got upset when Bigga said he doesn’t like gangster music. That probably didn’t sit well with him so he had to leave
yeah more so the hypocrisy of doing good you still get criticised and trying to please everybody
The underlying problem that plagues us was shown in this video...they pay us to poison our community...I promise you can tell who's ancestors were overseers on the plantation it's still in their genes and been passed down through generations
i think its cos he said he didnt like gangsta rap, then when he disagreed and said he likes mop, yayo like come on u trippin......mop rap bout harder shit than unit, considering unit had a bunch of party records. i get yayo's frustration, its like he picking and choosing

Yeah 50 definitely carried the gangsta rap torch for these young rappers.
Nah Bigga gotta pick a side I fucks with him but he straddling the line with this 1...glad they called him out
like ole boy said we rapped about what we were going thru or seen. the world spins and waits for no man. as the world spins the elements change and as the elements change so does the words of songs. i was born late 80’s and i watched it go from gangster rap to drug dealing music to crunk, snap and dance then drug user music back to drill. it’s whatever the label is pushing. and yes i know i missed a few things in there but you get the point. old heads gotta understand it’s a young man’s game and the young men of his or our era are going thru and live a whole different life from what they did and what we did. 20 years from now it will be these young cats talking bout back in my day it was this and that. that’s just how it goes.
@@Mrbarberswag exactly bigga just wants to seem like the wisest guy in the room, but he isn't right here, if people are getting influenced to be "shooters, killers or whatever" through music. Like yahoo said they are missing something in their life physically or mentally
Beautiful commentary, quality, I laughed hard
Oh this is a live one. We need the full vid asap
We gotta be more accountable smh... Kids grow into adults... Gotta start asking ourselves why we aren't drawn to positive over negative... Can't blame the kids without blaming the adults that were influencing the kid instead of protecting the kids young impressionable mind 🙏
The only reason we are on that path is because we have been tricked and programmed to view things a certain way they stop letting the positive or “woke” rappers be heard or pushed or be the ones on top of the rap game so once the gangsta or ignorant rap is shown that’s who gets the deals who make the money the killas pimps and drug dealers who wants to be like the positive rappers nobody so that’s what the minds gravitated to in our communities they wanna be like who made it look like they made the big money so that’s a big part of why we as a culture are in the state we are in
Fa real like people saying this is a great interview.I just don’t see it that way. Dude was yelling and not really answering the question or saying much
The 80’s really fucked dudes up😮
Us dudes that were outside doing that bad shit in the 80's & 90's now are in our 40's & 50's. We are fathers and grandfathers. We're to blame. Sorry to say.

Bigga & Math multiple times tried to elevate the conversation but when ignorance feels threatened it screams louder.... great show #salute
That was fire but that wasn’t the case here. You can’t blame G unit for contributing to the violence in the neighborhood, but then say MOP is good music. It’s hypocritical. They might not have meant to be disrespectful to Yayo and Murda , but it definitely came off as such. Again that jewel that you dropped was classic. Salute to you for sharing that!! 🫡

@@chaunt100 agreed, but unfortunately Yayo was right. Ain’t nobody checking for conscious hip hop anymore. Mysonne is the perfect example. When he was locked up everyone was saluting him. The second he came home and started trying to redirect the youth and check the OG’s for being fake. They called him a clown and a bum. The consumer isn’t supporting that type of music anymore and the machine definitely ain’t pushing it either. I hate to say it but there isn’t any money in positivity. Ignorance sells.
