1989 Hot Wheels PART THREE (3) - Complete Collection - Year By Year (YBY)

- This is the final video of a three-part 1989 review of every car and truck released by Mattel Hot Wheels in the year 1989. This is a three part video series for 1989 because there are so many different cars and sets released for this year that I needed to break up the video to keep it to a reasonable length. This third video focuses on the specialty cars of 1989, including the introduction of the Park 'N Plate series, limited production multi-pack cars, mail-away, promotional, and cereal box give-away cars released for 1989. Stay tuned for more videos in the year-by-year segment, as we enter the radical 1990's collection on video!
Awesome Collection love it👍
ENJOYED!! Very Educational video, I learned alot today! LOL The DoubleBarrel Z-28's one of my FAV Camaros and 1st time seeing that split window vette What-a-Beaute!! Thanks for all your hard "work" brother!
Excellent video again. Your complete years are amazing. Mind boggling actually. I have seen cars in your sets that I owned as a kid. Some hurt due to the fact I had some rare cars. Ugh. But if I go that route I had Mego Super Heroes, mail-in exclusives. Kid Flash, Aqua-Lad, and of course Star Wars. You mentioned in your Kings of Crunch the plastic smell of old figures. That was bliss for me as a kid...lol. When I found my 1st Jawas I was in Toy Heaven. Your channel brings me back to better times. Fun, care free days of racing and just being a kid. Thanks for that. I have so many questions and comments about certain castings but I don't want to clog your comment section. I'll just say thanks again for your channel and your incredible collection.
Thanks for the message my friend! Feel free to reach out with a couple of questions in a Private Message, I'd be happy to respond! Glad my channel brings you back, that's how I feel reviewing this stuff too! O-Dawg
Awesome! Lamley don't got nothing on these videos!

I like that collection a lot, it's a chuleria, a greeting collector friend
Once again. What an amazing collection of vintage Hot Wheels. Thank you so much for sharing these with us. Did you buy most of them loose or did you free most of them?
Thank you! I bought most of these cars loose, I usually only buy them carded when the packaging is rough or I have no other option in locating a specific model or variation. In those cases I often keep the car in the package and go on the hunt for a second car (to open if needed)... as was the case with many of my Park N Plate cars. Those variations can be very tough to locate, and usually the packaging doesn't add much more value to the model versus found in mint condition (In my humble opinion).
@@wtffor Thanks for the reply. Did not know about the Park N Plate car series. They are very nice. Buying cars in bad packaging sounds like the best option.
They are not hard to open. I still have quit some vintage Hot Wheels on mint or near mint cards and have a hard time to open them up.
On the other hand, there is more fun in holding a fresh vintage Hot Wheels in hand. Loose cars are more fun. But if it comes to value probably its better to keep them on card.
But I am not going to sell my Hot Wheels collection anyway. To much fun in collecting them ;-)
Sweet collection. As always great video.
Wow can’t wait for 1990
Very Nice 👍
I remember being a kid and my mom had bought a couple of those park and plate cars for me to give to a friend for his birthday. I threw a flipping fit because I wanted to keep them for myself. What a brat lol.
Nice collection man 👍!🇧🇷
I love your vidios bud! Please don't ever stop making them! Collectors like myself look forward to them! I know I do!!!
The title says "Hot wheeks".
Thank you! Not sure how I missed that! Corrected now!
@@wtffor I found a hotwheels rc car from 1982, but I can't find any information on it, only one ebay listing. I got it today, it's quite large, made of plastic, take 4 AA batteries and says "Turbo F-1" on the stickers, help?
Lol that's funny 😂😂
Awesome collection of cars
Fantastic!!!!
Beautiful cars and Collection!!
I would like to have such an older car from HW!!!!
By Channel Garagem do Chico of The Brasil!!!
TKS!!!!
How lucky you are to still have toys aren't us in Canada! Sorry for my spelling! My name for the American Toys R us! I wish we still had them! I stopped there 4 to 5 times a week on my way to work! I miss them! My old store has been converted into an ICR industrial clothing retailer
I would like to see the year 2000 that was when I was born if you could do one that would be cool
Yes, I got all the 2000 when my son was born and put them away for him I don't know what is in that set , would be nice for a recap of them !!!
Amazing 🤩 and your knowledge of Hot Wheels is always great, thanks bud 😎✌️
Thanks 👍 Glad you enjoyed!
wow, that was sick, geat stuff lad.ive always wanted to ask what your initials mean?
There is another 57 variation. I had a Park n Plate that was a basic wheel. I sold it at the Indy convention. Just info for you.
Interesting... I've never seen one with basic wheels before! Perhaps an original error?
@@wtffor All I can say is this. I bought a complete US collection. It was in it and really stood out because it was not in the Tomart Book. Or any other that I had.
I just picked up those Silver Ferrari’s at my local Antique mall. Paid $6 bucks a piece.
Great finds!
Great man nice video and cool stuff .loved it job well done .
Nice collection
There's one of each of the white and chrome Christmas 57s for sale on eBay right now for $4k each
Holy cow!!! Going to take a look, just for fun :)
@@wtffor yeah, ridiculous pricing, I could never spend that kinda cash lol
Just noticed the 34 ford the door tampo on the small wheels ends at the door while the large wheels door tampo continues past the door.
I have a couple of the Park N Plate cars.
Good stuff
Bro you need to hook up with Pescal and make the fteakin best HW vids ever
