Between this and the Crow…it’s a big question on why Hollywood thinks we want this.
No one is begging for these to get remade.
They're too lazy and uncreative to come up with new ideas, so they're remaking old ones that were fabulous in hopes of making a few piddly dollars on something that's bound to flop.
In all fairness, the legal rights to do a remake were probably up for grabs and no major studio wanted to touch it so some lesser budget company decided to take it on.

Remaking The Crow means you can now sell the original The Crow to Netflix for licensing fees because the original would be in demand. That's why Hollywood creates sequels and remakes. It's free money for old IPs that are dead and the costs have already been amortized. Hope this helps.
Don't forget Road House, fans of that original are not happy about that one either. You'd think Hollywood would poll the public to see if they'd watch a remake. At this point they should focus on sequels people have been asking for like Labrynth. That one we've been asking for decades.

@@blueangels8103this is going way over your head. It looks like it is absolutely terrible. The acting is basement tier garbage. The dialogue, albeit somewhat sparse, sounds like it is a SNL sketch. "Ah, hell no." It looks like clips slapped together from different snippets of media. It doesn't exactly inspire confidence that it will hold even the dimmest candle to the original.

I’m old enough to remember the hype about it and it was unavailable in my childhood, never on broadcast TV, and in those days I believed the term is SHELVED, but when VHS became the norm, the studio released it. I couldn’t wait to see it and it was awful. GREAT REMAKE! At least, I liked it. That does not include any of the sequels.
