Coach: "she can go on well into her 30s" he sure sounds prophetic given she just won another gold medal @ 32. (4X4 mixed) and part of the WR setting team in Doha, 2019.
Prophetic!!! Say it again. Everything she said is right. Amazing
Actually, Felix was almost 34 when she won that gold medal in the 4*400 in Doha 2019. And, she came back on the track after only 8 months of having a C-section. Felix is an extraordinary athlete.

I shoulda got her autograph i was sitting down on the grass within 10 yards of her just coincidentally (I wasn't stalking her) at Mount Sac 2003 during CIF prelims . But I was too busy being tired from my race to approach her plus this was before she was famous although her fast times (same as me in the 400) indicated obvious fame.

Hopefully she's moved to better training locales now that she's an Olympic champion. Difficult to understand how she trained in the middle of a busy boulevard... maybe that's what got her faster - dodging all them cars.
