They made a right choice of debuting him as the lead vocalist. If Jimin only had vocal lessons, he should've been main vocalist by now. Tbh, he isn't lead vocal. He is also main vocal. Big Hit should give him proper lines (hopefully more lines than Jungkook) in BTS songs. His voice really fits in every genre of their songs. Although he gets less lines because he's the main dancer. His main focus was dancing, but he can sing beautifully. If Jimin ends up in a K-POP group with a stong rap line or a group who is more rap-focused, he'll be the main vocalist there. Jimin doesn't rap that much in their songs. Some of BTS's weak points is their line distributions. The reason why some songs have bad distribution of lines is because Jungkook only sing the lines, ad-libs, and harmonies all alone while they only give the rest (mainly Jimin) a few seconds. I know JK is the main vocal but it seems like he's been overshadowing his members with his large amount of parts he has in their songs.

They made a right choice of debuting him as the lead vocalist. If Jimin only had vocal lessons, he should've been main vocalist by now. Tbh, he isn't lead vocal. He is also main vocal. Big Hit should give him proper lines (hopefully more lines than Jungkook) in BTS songs. His voice really fits in every genre of their songs. Although he gets less lines because he's the main dancer. His main focus was dancing, but he can sing beautifully. If Jimin ends up in a K-POP group with a stong rap line or a group who is more rap-focused, he'll be the main vocalist there. Jimin doesn't rap that much in their songs.
Some of BTS's weak points is their line distributions. The reason why some songs have bad distribution of lines is because Jungkook only sing the lines, ad-libs, and harmonies all alone while they only give the rest (mainly Jimin) a few seconds. I know JK is the main vocal but it seems like he's been overshadowing his members with his large amount of parts he has in their songs.
