The only thing the cooldown does is slow down the realization that future excess fragments are not available without tanking fragment fusions on purpose. Potentially 6 to 8 fragment fusions a year and you would need to push hard for say 95 fragments in each one to get 10-12 10 pops a year.
Yea, if I would've realized that 75 Jetni shards would've only gave me 15 chests and 3-5 shards so far? I would've been more content with those shards just rotting on my account.
Agreed on the silliness of the fragment exchange wall of 10. There are 22 fragment lego champs. If we use the number you provide of 859 lego frag exchanges, that means we would have to average ~40 spare fragments for every fragment lego. No one has that many right now, so what is the point in controlling the pull rate/day. They are stopping maybe 20 people in the entire game from pulling her on day 1.
I have been running two accounts since before Plarium started doing fragment champs. I had enough fragments to make 176 and 178 chest. My first ten on each account only netted six fragments in total. I have seen screen shots of ten pulls where they received none.
Same I have two accounts…one had 175 and the other 172 chest….one got 3 the other got 8….so on average with average luck I’ll get her in 17 weeks atleast in one account..as we will definitely have a more fragment trash legos in the next months.
I think that time gating is solely to prevent people getting free resources like brews, chickens, books quickly and finishing fusions earlier. If people would have 100 chrsts, that would get them around 250 brews, 5-7 five star chickens, bunch of 4 star chickens, also 5-7 lego books and bunch of epic books.
Nah, I'm sitting on thousands of brews of each color and over 100 chickens of each size. Most end game accounts are like this. We have more resources than we can use. Can always use more legendary books but 500 epic books is more than I can use.
The length of time is going to be even longer for players like me who manage resources to the "t" in frag events and get 100 every event. I never go over on them so I will never have extra frags lying around. I think there was only 1 fragment champ event that I missed since I was able to consistently do since the Versulf Fusion. Not a good system for those who are meticulous during the events.
They also made a post in the reader digest I thought was interesting: The Hero's Path associated with the Wight Queen Ankora's Fragment Event won't feature Champions inspired by the Monster Hunter franchise. To get points for this event, you will need to train your Champions and get Artifacts or Accessories. So that's a big rip of it being Nerg Archer.
No chance of it ever being archer. If we get a guarenteed for archer it'll be a standalone event right at the end of the collab so they can milk as much money as possible by keeping people buying shards for the progressive events.
Dang it Fateless hurry up so we can all give a middle finger to Plarium lol. The real crazy thing here is Plarium is normally super greedy but this system actually helps no spend people that can't finish fusions. No monetary value at all for them to design this way.
MY first week's 10 chest limit gave me 5 fragments. I heard some people getting 9 or 10, so while it will definitely take a while, if you have a good stockpile of fragments champs saved up that you don't really care about cashing in, you can get there sooner. Other than that, there will now be WAY more people fighting over the Fusion tournament extra fragments in the top 3 spots.
There is another issue: Defense and HP based champs with a two star blessing just got a downgrade, because the second star now gets the more attack, instead of defence they had before. My Gnut, Mithrala etc now have 400 defence less
Thx for the vid. Best to just put Maud out of your mind and acquire her when you acquire her. If I had to change something, I would definitely get rid of the RNG. Like Coldbrew said, guarantee 1 frag in each chest. It totally blows that a champion that rewards loyalty to the game is going to be acquired at different rates all things being equal. And if Plarium thinks 100 chests is too easy, bump up her collection to 120, or something that could reasonably be acquired in a few years by a new player.
I’ve been playing for a few months less than you and was able to get a little over 100 chests. I think I probably completed fewer fragment fusions so had a few more random frags lying around. It’ll be interesting to see how this affects participation in frag events for champions that people don’t want.
I am not doing it, and Plarium can kiss my a$$. I would rather they give us a way to get the remaining fragments we are missing rather than taking 3 years to get someone who will be obsolete by the time we get her.
the only reason i see for the timegate is Plarium plans on releasing other champs. after we get Maud, what else would we do with our fragments other than get mid rewards?
People in my cluster are holding off on puling chests because the odds are so bad, they think Plarium will have to rework it... I don't see it happening, but it *really* should.
You're leaving out the fact that this also involves players having fragments left over from fusions. To reach the amount of chest, I have to complete the fusions and choose to convert their fragments to the chest. If i only converted the spare fragments of 10 over to the chest, the waiting game would be much longer. 1 fragment fusion every other month only leaves new players 10 chests or so to push towards her.
I'm guessing the chest restrictions are because they are going to see if people catch on top how bad it is they can "make up for it". I'm not going to convert any fragments for awhile.
I feel people who have been able to collect more of the fragment champions they will have to spend more time then the Players who couldn't complete Fragment Event due to Summoning parts. I have 661 legendary shards waiting because I have only been able to complete Vlad, Walking Tomb Dreng and Zinogre. It's like a punishment to the Krakens and Whale and anyone who pushes to complete Fragment Events. If they completed all or most of the fragments they will not get High Mother for a long time. Strange Concept, Free to play players might have her before the Krakens and Whales do..... lol.
I got 9 Fragments in one 10 pull. Unfortunately it took 7 of my chests to get them and all I got in the other 3 were brews :/ I know most CCs complete their fusions so they don't have a lot of chests. I don't think I've ever completed a fusion so I don't know how many I have lol
I know how to slove this problem. Constant fusions that expire all the time and they are impossible to complete. I know what your thinking AMAZING idea!
I think the data needs more work. I have 6 family accounts that I helping with, and no one in the house got anywhere near 6. My anecdotal evidence is no better in honesty, but when 0-2 frags are possible, you could hit that number for each 10 pull due to RNGeezus
I didn't do a single fusion last year and I'm just fine. I can beat all areas of the game if I want. The fusions have become a ridiculous time and resource drain that are not worth it. Plus you will eventually pull almost all fusion champions anyway. Lol
The long term rewards in this game is unmotivating. If I ever complete my Great Hall, I get trash. If I want this new champ, I will have to wait longer than I’m going to be playing this game. By than the champ will need a buff to be worth the fragments.

my return has been much better, i have 15 shards after 14 chests. But, i have no more fragments to trade in. so it doesn't matter anyway. I still will never get her.
I calculated it taking 5 years to get that Plarium Play points burning tree... and she sucks. Skip... ignore. No value in that currency. Do they really expect people wait wait this many years? YEARS! Goodness... I like this game, but I hope I'm not still playing in 5 years!

(mostly though from very early game!) and got some 9 chests or so... and for there are other rewards as another lucky game pull I do not guess that it´ll be enough to get 100 fragments out of 9 chests. And for further future... dunno... most fragment fusion I start I also complete, so I don´t see a way to get shitloads of fragment leftovers 🤣 and for heavens sake... why giving me anything else but fragments? If I would need those chickens and brews I´d participate in events and grab them. Back in the time I invested shyte energy in grabbing those fragments, sometimes fusions were too hard to finish and now they want me to sell those leftovers as a pack of chips. It´s so typical Plarium asswipe calculation. Fucking hate them for being so inconsiderate! They add a good thing which ALWAYS turns out to be shyte RNG... same as the chaos powder to re-ascend the artifacts... trying to get the speed ascension... but it jumps from flat ATK to flat HP and back and to and fro... have 10 rework attempts without getting the wanted speed!

You see this wrong. I have over 170 chest as I didn’t finish a lot of fragment events…so whales don’t have chest because they finished most fragment legos. Probably that’s why you also don’t have many as you finished most….so this LEGO will be available for most average players in a few months.
i got 11 mother fragments,but dont really care,what is cool out this ,is that now if i dont want to complete a fragments leggo but still wanna participate in some of the tournaments like pulling shard,or spider tournaments to farm silver, well now I know that I getting some extra rewards for those fragments, pretty much a win win
Only way to save this is either gaurentee 10 frags every 10 chests until ur 1st copy. Or makw her a 7 day login champ. I bet alot finally quit this game soon. No wants to 10 year plan to plat a game lol f.u raid.

I have played for 4 years. I do a lot of going for a champion and not finishing. I cashed in my fragments for 169 chests.

now they probably will sell fraguments packs that give you an unlimited amount but will cost you alot.

I pulled 10 and got 13 shards. probably first time luck, I guess.

I haven’t spent money in 2 years on RAID lol… and I criticize everything that warrants it.
I havn't played in 2 and a half years and I got 91 chests but I had a lot of incomplete fusions lol also got 8 fragments from 10 chests..
