Can we all take a moment to appreciate how complex the percussion is in this song? There's so much going on that they left it untouched; it plays out beat for beat in the Rockman Complete Works arrangement.
One of the best theme in 6. I love the stage especially that spike trap part in the very beggining. Knight man is cool. Too bad he is not a challenging boss in term of gameplay. But, love it anyway.
However, he is a playable character in Mega Man Rock Force. As a matter of fact that game actually has made me grown to like Knight Man and his stage theme, plus I really love his personality in Rock Force, it really does fit him giving the kind of robot master that he is.
I can't say for certain, but I suspect that Knight Man's weakness to Yamato Man's Yamato Spear stems from the fact that European medieval warriors never encountered/fought Japanese forces from the same era and would not know how the opposite's strategy. Maybe Japanese forces could've prevailed?

Naw bro, Samurai were (during the middle ages) mainly horse archers. Though their Katana is very famous, it was a bit like a pistol (an emergency weapon). Also it was not until Takeda Shingen invented the heavy cavalry charge for Japan that samurai began fighting like knights. Meanwhile the Knights would be clad head to toe in steel armour. The samurai would probably not be able to stand a proper European charge and would have to flee the field
Idea: Knight Man and Centaur Man as a team. Think about it, knights are known for riding horses and centaurs are half man half horse (or in Centaur Man's case, third robot, third man, third horse). This would make an amazing combo since Centaur Man can use his Centaur Flash on Megaman to make him more vulnerable to Knight Man's Knight Crusher.
I read somewhere on the Megaman fanbase that Centaur Man is actually Centaur Woman, and she has a crush on Knight Man. So, if that's true, this actually makes sense.

I love how this master robot is inspired by european medieval knights and his essence captured in this epic chiptune masterpiece.
