The appearance of this camera looks more slick than most of the others I've seen. Great review and helpful to see it in action!
I ride a HD Heritage and have used the camera for the last 3 years. Its plugged into the bikes USB. Its mounted on a custom bar I had made for the bike by Fortress Motorcycles and sits just behind the bike screen.. Primarily for safety but I produce videos of our group rides. Video reproduction is excellent. I put Musak on rather than engine noise as the in line mike isn't great. Our group did the 3 highest pub challenge and I used 2 cards to capture it all and edit it down to 15 minute vids. Cant speak highly enough. Only down side is I wanted to get a back up weather proof cable for the camera but cant find a UK supplier. Getting it from Italy is rather pricey. But yep, I am well happy.
1st time iv seen a vid of roads i actually know lol i even bought my KTM 950sm from the garage you ended the vid on, nice review btw.
Hey Road Rash. Thanks for the review. I have the wifi version, the wind noise is absolutely horrendous even at 30mph. Surprised that there is barely any noise on yours. It would be interesting to see how it fairs at 60-70mph
i am recording however only the first clip come good.the rest of thr clips are completly black. anyone can help? could this be a cam problemmor an sd card?
Hello RR. This is what I have been looking for, I had a Roadhawke ride bullet camera very similar to this one, ideal for what I wanted. Question. Can you review the footage? Is it operated or set up from an app !
Good review 👍
Would love to see what your thoughts are on the Sena S10C Evo. Camera's are brilliant but the combination intercom & the voice recording feature make it seem like a wicked option to push the camera one step further!
Hey Jay, your wish is my command 🧞♂️
Ps. UA-cam likes comments so thanks for yours Jay😉😉
Just bought and mounted this onto my new BMW GS Adventure. Grew up in the same area as you!
Hi dave i hope you get lots of use out of it this summer.

iv got a question the time watermark how did you remove it aas i cant get rid of it
Is the waterproof cable attachment a data transfer cable also?
good review, just ordered newer version with wi-fi and better video quality as well as wider view angle.
I got the Bulletcam from Chilli technology with a spare battery for only £48 they have a special offer on now and it's just as good as that one for half the price.

that last strap you displayed, looks to enable it to be worn on your head (no helmet)...?? looks similar to the type of strap used by Mountaineers/cavers to mount a torch, I was a Mountain Rescue volunteer (in my youth).
Thanks Nev's Mate it has a sticky pad on it I guess that would help if your bald🤣
Hi just purchased one. Put in 64gb card and it won’t record? Questions
Should the red recording light flash all time or stay solid? Turns on vibrates but light flashes.
When you have record l take it you remove card put in pc to view recordings?
I have formatted the card but still no joy.
Any advice appreciated
Hey Terry, i cant remember and bont have the unit any more but ill contact someone that knows and let you know that is unless you've sorted it?
Cheers

@@RoadRashTV Ok thanks it’s frustrating that the instructions don’t say such an important thing. I switch on and get a blue light, l think you push power button and red light flashing is record. That seems to work now. But it’s been trial and error l thought the SD card was faulty
I just bought one of these, second hand but unused and almost new, and the thing doesn't seem to want to charge. The red charging light goes out in less than a minute and then it turns on but turns straight off again. It works fine with the power lead connected, but on my old 6v bike that's not much help...
Hi Casper thanks for watching the review
im sorry to hear that its not charging but i dont really have a solution as it sounds like a faulty unit... can you send it back?
@@RoadRashTV yes, I got my money back in the end. Shane as I was looking forward to trying it.
Can anyone tell me what Device to PC cable suits this camera. I have lost mine and the connection is VERY small in the cam. Please help.
just bought a micro USB and micro HDMI. Both are about 6mm wide and the one for the cam is 5.
Hey, great video. Just bought one. Mine seems to have a LOT of wind noise however. I have side mount on my lid same as you. How do I reduce the wind noise?
Hi Valkyrie thanks for your kind comment and im glad you enjoyed the review. When it comes to wind noises its quite a subjective thing as anything you stick on your helmet will increase the wind noise.
Some cams are more lightly to increase noise than others thats why in general bullet cams like this one ard better than say a large gopro style cams as they are more streamlined.
I once saw a YT video when someone made a covering to shield the mounting bracket to make it more streamlined as thats the bit that will catch the wind and make the noise.
I hope this helps in some way
Bobbymax
Ps. What you riding?
Hi thanks for the reply. I have one the same as yours and was just amazed really that yours didn't become so noisy that we couldn't hear your voice yet mine does. I may look into a wind shield for it.
I am wondering also that the tethered lock maybe for a mount for the mouth area of the helmet, but I am not sure. Thanks again.
We found out the tether thing is for attaching it to a cycle helmet. Anyway thanks again for watching and we look forward to see you comments on our next review or if you like helmet tech like cams and coms this is our latest review on the channel. ua-cam.com/video/xwALolCz4TE/v-deo.html

How do you change the date and time on the camera? Video is decent but the date and tie is incorrect when watching back.
Cancel my last!
Go to the Midland Bike Cam web site and scroll down to 'Download' and select 'Bikeguardian_Timesync_Software', plug the camera in and sync the time. Jobs done!
Hi David glad to see you got ot sorted out
Ps thanks for watching the reviewand hope to see you on the next on

I bought lookrd hoof but cannot get it to work does the red led flash when its recorfong as mine does this all the time? Brand new scandisk sd card in it.
@@RoadRashTV sorry should say looked good! Cannot get it to work didnt know if the led should flash all time?
@@kevh8685 Believe it flashes red to indicate it is recording mate.
@@davidharrington7045 hi thanks i couldnt get it to work tried 2 sd cards both high quality, i had response of midland said reset it format card in cam then hold camera button for 15 secs as in instructions? It wasnt in my instructions unfortunately took them a week to reply and had sent it back, liked it might try another one now I know what to do 😊
Hi Kev sorry i just got round to replying to this. Hopefully if you get another one it will work ok as Midland in general make good kit however if your thinking once bitten twice shy i have an alternative fore you to look at in the forme of the DC-1 from Techalogic its another bullet cam like the midland but it has a cam on the front and back and an app for your phone. Here's a link for a review on it. ua-cam.com/video/ednpSU7eYrU/v-deo.html
Let us know what you think?
And again sorry you had a experience with the Bike Guardian

Just arrived. Charged and inserted 64gb card. I have constantly flashing red light and blue light is on too. If I press record button it vibrates 3 times and that's it. Any ideas very welcome 😔

Hi, Did I get something wrong?
Or is it correct that the camera only takes 5 minutes in film mode?
Well the design is great and I can understand the use of it as a dash cam but the specs of the camera are totally obsolete and using it as an action cam is not really a good idea.
Great review though, thanks!!!
HI nicald, i guess it's more of a safety dash cam than a action cam.
If your looking for something with a bit better specs then you check out these 2 review.
The first one is on the DC-1 From techalogic ua-cam.com/video/ednpSU7eYrU/v-deo.html
Ps. Do you have any helmet tech at the moment
And this one is from SENA and its a cracker 10-C EVO ua-cam.com/video/xwALolCz4TE/v-deo.html
Still using it? Any issues?
Q - can i put time and date on the camara ?
First of all thanks for watching the review however i dont have unit anymore and can't remember if you can or can't

done that same route few times
Road Rash TV way redcar has gotten latelty i think it’s about time i invested in a camera getting terrible round here
Great looking piece of kit. The only downside , it does not work !
Just a rebranded f9 sport cam that you can get far $25 us
Thanks for review. It's a Swedish company. With the name Midland I originally thought it was a British company. Cheers. Like everything else, it's made in China.
The company is actually Italian, I'm still trying to figure out why they are called Midland but they are more famous for making radio's. Also there is a new Wifi version which is even better.
1080p / 27 fps seems a bit old fashioned...
Hi Lucas, ita a European thing I think they call it PAL format as opposed to 30fps that the US use.
Thanks Lucas
Bobbymax
@@RoadRashTV yes, that could be the case. But there are cameras recording with 1080/60 or even 120fps. Unfortunately they always have this "Gopro"-Design. I like the idea of the Midland bike guard because it can be hidden at the bike much easier, but the recording quality seems to be only enough for dashcams, not for high quality movies
You could take a look at this review if you like the shape of the bullet cams better
