Leave him underrated, I'm not saying I don't want him to shine but sometimes when they go up, they dont have they're hands on everything and the music gets a bit boring. He's definitely dope!
I commend Anderson's mother for not bad mouthing his father...This is why Anderson has become the smart, talented, stable man he it...Great partnership with Bruno!
That was such a great, positive, professional interview. It was nice that Charlemagne was absent. Anderson didn't have to tolerate disrespect and inappropriate questions. Great job you guys!!
@@brileystewart Not really. His presence is probably the reason the show has the ratings it does. You can't always have cookie cutter interviewers asking underhand pitch questions all the time.
I wish people were more like him. He is like the energy i’d like to have around me. He is super talented and seems like such a nice person. So much respect for him. Appreciate the fact that he is such a good dad for his sons, like u can see the connection, so dope!
His smile is what brings me to listen to his music. Thanks to Couchella for introducing me to this guy. Really, I was surprised when I read his biography, the dude really came from the scratch to be a musician. He had a bad childhood memories, came from broken home family and used to be homeless. MASSIVE RESPECT from the bottom of my heart, my homies Paak 👊
DID THEY EVEN LISTEN TO HIS ALBUM????? there are so many gems they left uncovered in this interview, man :/ so many connections between .paak’s story and his artistry. like for starters his dad’s struggle with addiction and .paak’s honest explanation of how he “copes with the pain” on 6 Summers LIKE ENVY N YEE CAN YALL STEP ASIDE SO I CAN INTERVIEW THIS MAN
Paak is super slept on. this album is so 🔥🔥🔥. Respect to this guy for always delivering positive, feel good music that is amazing. Instant classic imo.
Great interview! I'm 63 and love this young King. I love your show as well. You all ask the Best questions of your guest. Sis had me laughing at her confession regarding edibles!!
I can tell hes really in a Good space and happy with life right now! Glad to see him gettin some shine and I only see more success coming for thid dude. Paak is the Future!
This man is the most talented person in music right now. The scope of his talent is insane. Go watch his Tiny Desk and Grammy Pro live performances if you don't know.
I didn't know who this guy was, over the weekend, but I really enjoyed his performance on SNL. He's been the best musician on there this entire season, and it was the funniest episode too. They've been trash this entire season but this episode kept me watching all the way to and through his performances, and im glad I did. Anderson Paak is a breath of fresh air!
The first time I heard Paak, I was playing Madden and I stopped the game to download that joint right away. Then he started doing the videos Laying it Paak. Bruuuhhh!!! We need more Laying it Paak videos please
Awwwwwwwww! All he went thru & his attitude is great! He's always smiling & so happy! What a story! 🤔 His Mom was an awesome lady! He's being accommodated 4 all his pain! Blessings to him & his family N everything! ❤️
I was introduced to this Brothers music a few years ago, and had the opportunity to see him perform at the Art Of Cool Festival in Durham NC. He was absolutely amazing the energy he gives is just so powerful! I was already hooked to his music before the concert but after seeing him live it just sealed the deal even more for me! I hate so much that Prince is gone because this is one Brother he would have enjoyed working with.
To everybody saying they skipped this interview cause Charlemagne wasn’t there, y’all better keep that SAME energy next time he’s up there disrespecting your favorite celebrity for views
I knew this dude was big time when I saw him perform at UCSD without a stage. Just him, his band and the audience on the same floor! Best show I've ever seen.
Anderson Paak. That's my dude. Been a fan since I heard him on Dre Compton album. Distinct voice and style. Nobody like him. Definitely recommend people listen to his albums if u never heard of him🔥🔥
Very talented dude it takes a lot of skill to be able to play the drums and sing at the same time and still be on perfect timing. Trust I’m a drummer so I know how hard it is to multitask while playing drums
Been with Paak from the beginning, and he’s my favorite artist working rn, but this interview was weak af. Love Ange and Envy, but y’all really should’ve gave his music more time to listen to before talking to him. His music is so original and truly amazing. He deserves more respect that what they showed him, from my opinion.. iss all love
The Oxnard album is 🔥🔥 🔥. The mix is so dope... Dre's influence is apparent. Songs actually reference previous songs which gives this album order. Dr. Dre, Q Tip, Pusha T, B.J. The Chicago Kid and the female vocals on this album makes this a classic
Powerful interview. Thanks for sharing your truths and being transparent about your life. Envy do your homework, real fans can tell you haven’t listened his album smh. If you have not heard this mans music run to it. He’s so dam dope and has beeeeeeeeen doing his thang.

Anderson paak is the definition of a true musician, not just a rapper or a producer, hes a composer and all around well rounded in music period.
I’m a huge fan! I caught on to him after I heard him on the BET awards some years back with that song “Come Down” I love his voice!
Love .Paak's music!! From his 1st album to his most current
What a sweet guy. Got a smile that lights up the room. Godly, came through a lot but God got a plan and has a hand in his life. This is real cool.

Anderson Paak is legit! Him, Kendrick and Janelle Monae need to form a group together. They'd be like the new school Fugees!
Yooooo that's a great point and too be honest I think they would be better then the fugees only because I felt pras was the weak link in the group
Yup; and throw J. Cole on a few tracks and watch the planet burn to ashes!!🤣😂😂🔥🔥🔥☄️🌎🌎🔥🔥
Silk Sonic with Bruno Mars. The future is always never known.
Yea, Yes 🙌🏾 I like your vision. I would never thought to put them together. Great unique talent 🥰

His energy is real good and positive too... the sky is the limit brotha!💪🏽
I'm definitely going to check out more of his music. That "Tints" song fire
Listen to Malibu
That's the worst song on the Oxnard album. Malibu is dope, but the TinyDesk performance is the best I've heard from him and his band.
"Yes Lawd" Is his best album to start off with if you never listened to him.
Go see him live. That shit was the best concert that I have ever been to bar Frank Ocean.
