I just saw the series finale for The Family Chantel. At their last closure talk the way he kept saying he was in love with her and when she walked off he yelled out " Wish you the best Chantel" I felt like he meant that, he did love her when they got married. Sure maybe that stuff that Obed said was true, and maybe Pedros mom did want him to marry an American for the green card. But I think he did love her at the beggining. If it was all show no one will try to shout at the last second something positive. Im sad for them he gave up and didnt try at the end.
The best thing about this situation is that they didn’t have children and drag them through all of this! Also, Chantel’s family interferes with EVERY relationship the children get in and cause a LOT of negative and needless drama!
