@@iamtheiceman when I say fans. that's not what you want. its what most of us want. for the improvement or change that we want. like the ZX4RR most of the people requested the 400cc bike are from the philippines who's expressway requires a 400cc bike to legally enter the highway. they deliver. because before the ZX4RR we had the ZX25R a 250cc inline 4 supersport. and now most fans wanted an updated look for the zx6R. and they deliver again.
I love that Kawasaki just embraces being the wildcard out of the Big 4 and is willing to build fun motorcycles that make no sense on paper but rather on the pavement. Supercharged Tourer ? Sure. Small displacement inline four ? You want one, you get one. 600cc inline four ? Hell yeah.
Other bike manufacturers think about what makes sense and what doesnt but they never realize that motorcycles nowadays make no sense to begin with. They are pure fun machines. Kawasaki is the only brand that seems to know this.

Those look same as last years, probably nothing to upgrade significantly on them. Looks like the turn signals they went to LED though.

Ive only owned ninjas (5 of them now) for 2 decades now and I own the 2023 ZX6r. Im jealous of the display! Thank you kawi for making a great bike and for keeping this class alive.
Legends. The 636 is iconic. Happy it’s still alive and going strong when other manufacturers are giving up on the 600 class.

Iv always been a Kawi fan. But this past few years their marketing has been absolutely killing it. They are actually listening to what people want. Keeping classic and practical bikes that people love and just updating small stuff. AND keeping the price affordable so everyone can buy it.
Glad Kawi is keeping the 600s alive. Kinda disappointed that this only features a quickshifter but no autoblip though.
Also am I the only one that thinks the front of the Zx6r looks a bit similar to the CBR650R?

I thought it was an equal mix between the 6 and 10. Leaning into the owl-eyes of the 10 but keeping the sharp beak of the 6
The headlights look like something Ducati would make
pretty sure its both up and down because to call it kawasaki quick shifter auto blipper or KQSAB would be stupid.

I love this company and cannot wait till I'm able to buy this bike. Loved Kawasaki since I was 7 and I'm so happy they are continuing with the 600cc series. Been wanting one 10 years ago when I was 7 and I'm finally getting my motorcycle endorsement this summer. Hopefully I can get enough to buy it before I graduate but I'm so relieved they are keeping the 636 alive!

I’ve been giving some real thought to what bike I’d buy next since my R6 is just getting old now and the miles are starting to get up there. Was thinking a Ducati V2, but I think this is it. This bike is stunning, and for the difference in price from a V2 I’ll be able to mod it how I want right at purchase.

@Justin WithAnA - Stop being facetious. Namely if you don't want a 600 but intent to redline a 400 then it shows your attitude than any actual concern for safety.
Mentality towards riding is everything and in large part why many riders get hurt whether big bike or small.
@@ThermicLight But something like a cheap 250cc you CAN redline almost anywhere (on my other bike 72 mph was its top speed, you could legit keep that pinned even through town 99% of the time), but yes a 400cc is too big to be keeping it pinned, for that you need a Grom if you're starting off.
And of course it takes 0 mph to get injured, just sitting at a stop light can be extremely dangerous (stopping, then checking every direction, then running the red light is sometimes the safest option), because even walking you can get ran over since everyone is on their cell phones. I once saw someone reading a 500+ page novel... I would understand watching movies while driving (seen that too), but a novel? Audio books people, or just pull over to finish the chapter!

I like the new headlights, the fact that finally LEDs are the only lights used.
I like the TFT dash, and the fact it has a FUEL GUAGE !!! (yes).
The exhaust, at least this time, is nicely "blacked out", making it look more discreet, and not such a bright-shiny-monster.
The only wish I would have would be for more variety of color-schemes.
I am tired of the lime green.
If they (have to) have lime green - keep it as an "accent" to an all-black/red type of color scheme.
I can't wait to see what they price this thing at, lol !!!

Monster Fairings sells some REALLY cool fairings for these (assuming its the same bolt pattern as last year), so much cooler than OEM (I really want their shark pattern)
2023 series had a fuel gauge
The turn signals changing to LED is kind of nice, but that's a cheap upgrade for anyone that wants it (I'm pretty sure the others are LED already)
My main upgrade wants would be tail tidy (the OEM is hideous from the sides, but maybe its a legal requirement?), and the windshield I think they would lose nothing by extending it 2" but it would make it much better when only 90% tucked, so 99% of the time it would improve and at worst like 0.001% less aero for full tuck vibrating your face on the tank.
I love this. Great and crazy inline 4 screamer engine bike, the facelift, the classical music with yammie noob vibes, everything.
This epic bike only needs a bit more tech, like a blipper, 6 axis imu, wheelie control, engine break settings, and a cruise control, and i would be as happy as you could even be.

@@dedelabinouze5110exactly fooled by by shiny “new” parts. Once the r9 comes out this will be at the bottom of the totem pole. They literally updated just the front, “new” dash, and slightly shifted the power band. It doesn’t have a 6 axis imu, no auto blipper, no ride by wire, and the same basic level of traction control.

2024 Model year, and still NO ride-by-wire? C'mon Kawi....
Cable throttle is better for track on a 600 man... Ride by wire means even at 100% TP the bike won't be. Second reason is the feeling. Also from a business perspective, why put r&d in a class that's already dead?

It’s not bad, you won’t miss 5hp, it wont make any noticeable difference in overall performance
It doesnt have less power, its because of emission standards that made kawasaki put a very restrictive muffler.
Change the muffler and remap, it will easily gain 30 hp

Out of all the bikes I have owned since I was 17, now 68 my first two bikes were Kawasaki 250 Samurai and the a new H2750. Kawasaki have made up about 80% of all my bikes. To say I'm a fan is an understatement. Kawasaki ROCKS!!!
