Lol. Same here. I woke up too early for the F1 race and this was recommended on UA-cam at that time. So since I had some time to kill I sat there and watched the whole race. First time a see it and here I am subscribed and waiting on the next race.
This is a great series and a more engaging race production than many other motorsports series... a decent mix of camera shots (though still too many head-on long lenses) and car sounds that you can actually hear, both helping to portray the speed and power of these fantastic cars.
This is my first time watching SuperGT, always wanted to try it. Gotta say I'm enamoured with those GT300 winners. Love that they were just essentially a bunch of dude who work on cars that decided to go racing. That's how the greatest motorsport teams started, a proper passion for it. Great stuff.
I was in a comments section of a motorsports website yesterday, decrying what I thought was an absence of live broadcasts for this season, and was told about this channel by someone in their reply to me. Thank you so much for doing this! There is nothing like Super GT in many ways, and being able to follow the series live is awesome. I remember how much people expressed their wish for a continuation of broadcasts when they were terminated briefly about a year ago. This series has some passionate following, and you are really doing work that is supremely appreciated.

Yep it's very cool to think a gt car is almost on the level of the higher echelon of motorsports.Can beat out lmp2 is relatively close to Indy and non hybrid lmp and without regulations could possibly match a hybrid lmp or who knows maybe an f1 car
Glad you guys are doing this for us. My only suggestion would be that the commentary is so much louder than the cars, could probably turn it down a little bit.
Ever since I experienced the GT500 cars in GT Sport, I've grown interested on these series. It's sad to see the Lexus RC F replaced, but, boy, does the Supra GT500 look nice! And also to see Sacha Fenestraz getting a podium (Fellow Argentinian here), it's great!

2:08:20 Well, Jeff Krosnoff was the second person to race a Supra in JGTC. The 1st one was Hideo Fukuyama in the #5 Blitz Supra in 1994. As always, great content folks. I was missing Super GT since the Let's Go Racing days, so I'm happy to see its return on UA-cam o/
I started getting into motorsport watching F1 and your uploads of Super GT. F1 definitely had (and still does) have some work to make the races a bit more interesting, watching Super GT was my first time watching multiclass and it was really crazy to watch. NNNNNOOOOO... I missed it... I was so looking forward to having Sam talk us through the jungle of Japanese Surnames and equally challenging team names... And I missed the notification for the stream completely, I only got the reminder when I next logged on. I'll make sure not to miss the next one!
The commentary team really add something special to this. The jokes about mismatched facemasks, flag techniques, and the odd dig at F1 are all thoroughly enjoyable. Also, fair play to Sam for translating Japanese on-the-fly. Will tune into every race in future.

agree totally. im always moaning about those head on shots too, they favor sponsor exposure at the expense of all speed and dramatic appeal

Today I learned that a GT500 car laps Fuji almost as quickly as an LMP1. Blew my mind
GT500 is faster than an LMP2, but LMP1? Well, it's not exactly as quick as the LMP1-H cars but the regular LMP1? Maybe..
