As a kid in the '70s, our neighborhood gang used to call these a suicide flip.......my favorite as it really freaks people out when they see it. We would try to delay the flip to the point you more landed on your shoulders than on your back.
In Dutch we have that except you don’t land on your back but on your feet (so a stretched out front flip) and it’s called “zweefduik” which translates to “hover dive” so something along those times, maybe “rolling dive” since you didn’t land on your feet but ended up doing like a stretched out rolls-polly
In college, me and my friends called it the "suicide dive". I've done it hundreds of times. The challenge was to look at the bed of the trampoline as long as possible, waiting to tuck the head at the last split-second! None of us ever failed or got hurt, thank God.
@@mae25050 the first guy to do this trick on a snowboard named the trick a "lawn dart". I can't remember his name, I think he was an African American though.
I’ve always called it a suicide. But I say that because I’m a gymnast & have been doing that since I was little. The way this gymnast does it is Les risky than how I perform it because she has more forward motion than upward

If this were being done on the actual floor exercise (artistic gymnastics), it's called a dive roll. In Trampoline, it's called a 3/4 front to back.
Its called frontflip to back x land
Yup
Correct
lol that’s what I just said - “it’s called a dive roll, but if we wanna get fancy and rename it, I give it the flying swan dive”
😂
It's called a 3/4 front
I've got the perfect name for it. After giving it a lot of thought, and watching the motion she performs, I'd call it a _"flip."_

Wild we did the same thing in the 80s lol. Kinda scary when you rub the top of your head on the mat and barely land it without getting hurt 😂

Can confirm, 80s and 90s, the golden years
