Sorry, I am not a violin teacher, so I will not be of a big help. The thing I know about string crossings is that you should always transfer the bow and stick it to the string before you play. It has to be a quick movement but still, don't try to do it in the same time (cross the string and play the next note). Control with your ear that you don't have some spurious sounds while crossing the strings. Hope this helps !
