Nathan's attention to detail on this one was off the charts. I squealed when he rendered Ms. Lemon's bright red lipstick, and the inspiration of the intro as his background was so cool.
Poirot has always been one of my #1 comfort shows and seeing it rendered so lovingly and in such a nostalgic-looking style legitimately made me tear up. Everyone's art is banging as usual. Drawfee vids are always a ray of sunshine. :)
I generally feel a little lost in a lot of the references that you guys make, but having Nathan do Poirot was AMAZING!!! Thank you Nathan!! Amazing work all of you, keep it up!! Can’t wait to see what you guys do next!!
Love Nathan's sketch and composition today, Jacob's coloring and linework, and Karina's character designs and subtle face differences!!! Everyone knocked it out of the park this episode.
These all went so hard like you guys didn't need to pop off but you did, stunted on every one of us !!! (My bias is Mina, the twice illustration turned out so good! They were all recognizable!!)
Suggestion: you should try drawing Discworld characters that you've never heard of! There are so many incredible characters, and I'd KILL to see Nathan draw the Librarian! Other characters include such gems as Nobby Nobbs, Ponder Stibbons, and the Hogfather! These are my favourite books, and I think they could always use more love 🥰 GNU Terry Pratchett
Julia’s Susan would be great, but what I’d really love to see is Julia’s Sam Vimes. (Also Jacob should either draw Nanny Ogg or the OG Rincewind) Edit: each should draw two characters, speed-draw style. Nathan: the Librarian and Cheery Littlebottom Jacob: Nanny Ogg and Rincewind Karina: Angua and Sally (listen, I know she’s only in two or three books but “Thud!” is my favorite and I want more Sally content) Julia: Sam Vimes and Susan Sto-Helit
I'd enjoy the possibility of a 'go back and render your stuff different' episode. And I'd also like to posit the possibility of a combo 'go back and render your stuff' but it's actually each others' old stuff

Big Bird as an ex-bodyguard for the mob (he wasn't always the smartest, but he was always the biggest). Leaving that life behind, comes back to his old neighboorhhod to start again. Maybe teaching kids at the community center. Making sure they won't make his mistakes. But the past quickly catches up with BB, and someone from his childhood seems to pulling the strings...
Karina telling Jacob "shut up Dad" really adds to my headcannon that they are like a little family, jacob and julia the mom and Dad, Nathan is the uncle that everyone loves, and Karina is the baby that they try to be supportive when she talks about k-pop
when i first watched this i was SO MAD i couldnt read a drawn-by-Nathan Poirot comic, and months later i am still so mad. for real though Nathan's Poirot cover is probably my favorite drawfee illustration of all time, tied with his wildlife scene from redrawing childhood art
Suggestion: Before the recording, everyone designs a flag. Then, each person shares their design with someone else, and they must draw someone who would live in that country/place based on the flag's colors and symbolism. Also, please get Jacob and Nathan to try to pronounce the word "vexillology"
My bias in Twice is Hercule, so this episode really did it for me But in all seriousness, you did such a great job of capturing the vibes & energy of the different members, really incredible job

During Nathan's draw, I too thought about Sherlock Hound, so it was to my immense surprise and delight that Karina also brought it up! I swear like only 5 people on this planet know about that show, it is quite charming and (hot take) deserves a reboot. The whole series is on YT, btw if anyone was curious on checking it out. Miyazaki directed six episodes himself, and you can really feel his influence, lol
I love how quickly I could identify the characters in Jacob's first sketches of Alphinaud, Alisaie, and Thancred. He really captured their features with very little. But also, what's with this Y'shtola erasure?
Dropping in to say how much I love Poirot. He's a caricature of a detective because Christie was snubbed for her Miss Marple series. David Suchet is an iconic Poirot. I'm so here for it! Love it, Nathan!
Holy frick, I grew up watching BBC Poirot on VHS with my mom, never would've expected to see it appear on an episode of Drawfee! Excellent taste Nathan, and great artwork too. Styling the characters after Lupin was a great move.

Nathan really IS killing it lately, and I feel like he deserves even MORE credit
add another one to the “Nathan’s drawing is so good” pile. I was looking at the sketch going oh hm this has Lupin vibes “Yeah so I was channeling Lupin for this one”, oh that guy in the back is totally Zenigata “I really just, for the chief inspector, I stole Zenigata’s whole deal”. He hit every vibe directly on the head
everyone say thank you to queen Karina for this gift, she truly keeps Kpop stans fed 👏👏👏
Jeongyeon & Chae are my double bias I'm deadddd this jeongyeon look is SO GOOD, Chaeyoung looks AMAZING everyone looks so spot on wow
omg same jeongyeon chae and nayeon are my biases! i loved how karina drew them 🥺💗 jeongyeon short hair era supremacy 🥰
So much taste in this comment section!
Jeongyeon is my bias and Chae is one of my bias wreckers, so great taste there my friend, but anyway I screamed when she said she was drawing Twice since they're my ult ;o;
Nathan, that legit looks like a Lupin III poster. I'm so used to your cuddly friend drawings on drawfee extra that every time you bust one of these out, I'm always amazed. though I also like your cuddly friend drawings.
i know this thumbnail was carefully made for a hit video
also, please make a shape challenge where all 4 hosts get the same shape but rotates 90 degrees every drawing
Sonic from every angle haha
Nathan's attention to detail on this one was off the charts. I squealed when he rendered Ms. Lemon's bright red lipstick, and the inspiration of the intro as his background was so cool.
As someone who LOVES Poirot i was just screaming during all of Nathan’s drawing. ITS AMAZING!!!!
I love watching everyone improve, but seeing how confident Nathan has become as an artist is the best
Oh DEFINITELY re-render each other's sketches, that sounds so fun!! I love when you guys collaborate on things.
Oh god it’s not a contest obviously but Nathan setting the bar high here
Poirot has always been one of my #1 comfort shows and seeing it rendered so lovingly and in such a nostalgic-looking style legitimately made me tear up.
I love the growth in Nathan's art. He's always been great, but now he's even better! It's almost like he practices or something
just when i thought i couldn't love nathan any more, he drops hercule poirot: the manga. what the hell nathan.
Drawfee Suggestion: all 4 of you pick a suggestion you find, and then give the next person that prompt.
A chaotic episode for the best chaotic show
These all went so hard like you guys didn't need to pop off but you did, stunted on every one of us !!!
(My bias is Mina, the twice illustration turned out so good! They were all recognizable!!)
All for the re-rendering each other’s sketches (again lol)! Would also love a Drawga meets Drawtectives episode featuring Caldwell!
Suggestion: you should try drawing Discworld characters that you've never heard of! There are so many incredible characters, and I'd KILL to see Nathan draw the Librarian! Other characters include such gems as Nobby Nobbs, Ponder Stibbons, and the Hogfather!
These are my favourite books, and I think they could always use more love 🥰
GNU Terry Pratchett
i would LOVE to see a Julia take on Susan Sto Helit. and Nathan or Karina drawing the Death of Rats ??? 💖💕💘💕💗
@@merrowtooth Oh that would be so cute! SQUEAK 🥰
I love this idea, so much potential!
Julia’s Susan would be great, but what I’d really love to see is Julia’s Sam Vimes. (Also Jacob should either draw Nanny Ogg or the OG Rincewind)
Edit: each should draw two characters, speed-draw style.
Nathan: the Librarian and Cheery Littlebottom
Jacob: Nanny Ogg and Rincewind
Karina: Angua and Sally (listen, I know she’s only in two or three books but “Thud!” is my favorite and I want more Sally content)
Julia: Sam Vimes and Susan Sto-Helit
YEAAA >:DDD if they do ill be so happy
I'd enjoy the possibility of a 'go back and render your stuff different' episode. And I'd also like to posit the possibility of a combo 'go back and render your stuff' but it's actually each others' old stuff
I'm so delighted with Poirot and particularly the idea of people being thirsty over Hastings.
i want nathans poirot to be an actual manga or animated series, i love everything about it. maybe i will watch the show and just imagine it in his drawn style lol
Turning kids/small children shows into serious versions of themselves would be interesting lol
Like, The Wiggles as a psychological thriller? 'Cause that sounds like something cursed, but also completely perfect for this show.
@@freddogrosso9835 I WOULD WATCH THAT SO FAST
but the Muppets is already mature Sesame Street lmao
@@TryinaD But this is "Sesame Alley".
Sounds like a perfect excuse for a return of Gritty
I would love to see Nathan's stated idea of go back and render each other's stuff!
I cannot describe how happy I am to see someone else who loves the poirot tv series! I love Nathan’s piece too, it does it justice
I absolutely LOVED Karina's drawing. I know nothing about K-pop, but I really enjoyed what it looks liks
you should totally check out the MV!! its a great combo of cute and creepy
Suggestion: Before the recording, everyone designs a flag. Then, each person shares their design with someone else, and they must draw someone who would live in that country/place based on the flag's colors and symbolism. Also, please get Jacob and Nathan to try to pronounce the word "vexillology"
I love hearing Nathan's smile as he talks.
i did suddenly tear up reading this comment because i relate.
I love the way she drew all of them, but Jihyo being at the front cuz she’s the leader was a nice touch
There actually is a Poirot anime, it's called Agatha Christie's Great Detectives Poirot and Marple. It's pretty good and worth a watch!
My bias in Twice is Hercule, so this episode really did it for me
But in all seriousness, you did such a great job of capturing the vibes & energy of the different members, really incredible job
You should totally rerender each other’s old art
No suggestion, just wanted to say I've loved this channel for a long time and it never ceases to amaze me.
Y'all really brighten my Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
Jacob: “That’s closer to what I’m feeling. A little simpler, a little…”
Go on, you can say a little simpler, a little cleaner
That’s the way it makes me feel tonight
Minfilia and Tataru are crushed by the double-erasure
EXACTLY LIKE I'M SAYING
Jacob just apologized for the Y’shtola erasure on their Twitch stream. We can officially pump the brakes on the cancel Jacob train.
Dropping in to say how much I love Poirot. He's a caricature of a detective because Christie was snubbed for her Miss Marple series.
David Suchet is an iconic Poirot. I'm so here for it! Love it, Nathan!
NATHAN! Poirot the manga cover is perfect. I cannot believe you chose Poirot of all things and I love that you did.
Nathan's Poirot cover is PERFECT. Holy heck. The spotlight and mist are awesome callbacks.
Holy frick, I grew up watching BBC Poirot on VHS with my mom, never would've expected to see it appear on an episode of Drawfee! Excellent taste Nathan, and great artwork too. Styling the characters after Lupin was a great move.
