This my very favorite Japanese dramas, "Koi wa Tsuzuku yo Doko Made mo" (In English it's "An Incurable Case of Love"). I watch it, then rewatch it, then watch it over and over again, to the point where I no longer need the English subtitles! It is short, only 10 episodes, but they sure pack a lot into it. There is, of course, the main romance between Dr. Tendo (Satoh Takeru) and Nanase Sakura (Kamishiraishi Mone). But it also delves into medical issues, a small bit about suicide, self doubt & self worth, and mental healing, as well. I love that the drama is short as there are no breakups, no triangles, no angry exes or interfering parents. It's about seeing worth in someone whom you would normally not even notice, finding self-worth within yourself while working hard for your dream, friends & coworkers who actually get along! The only thing I couldn't get a handle on is the age difference between Kairi Tendo & Nanase Sakura. It seemed Sakura was about 18 when she met Dr. Tendo, so when she finally meets him again 5 years have passed, so she would be 23. But it never told us how old he was when he first saw her. If anyone knows, please comment, okay? Just a little questions. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this excellent Japanese drama. It is ABSOLUTELY RE-WATCHABLE. Thanks for reading.
I am watching this drama for the first time and am now at the start of episode 6. Thank you for this video, the music is just right too. Love the video btw.
I like this series. I hope there is a part 2. They could include Dr. Kisugi and the Nurse that likes him. Also, Asst Director. Give update on Warrior and Devil
that transition from their reuniting hug to the seduction night made me gasp so hard i choked; that was EXCELLENT. your love for the show made me fall in love with them all over again 💙 also, incurable case being your first jdrama sets a high bar tbh. i hope your forays into jdramaland have brought you to many more shows that you enjoy! (also, where did you download the show in such great quality???)
haha omg, thank you for noticing that!!! :) i actually haven't been successful in finding other jdramas - do you have any you'd recommend? & I forget where I downloaded it! I originally watched it on Viki, but downloaded it elsewhere.
@@elvisobsessor i have too many to recommend LOL all of these are on netflix :) suspense/romance: million yen women workplace comedy: stay tuned romance/melodrama: first love hatsukoi psychological/supernatural: switched if you want to tell me some shows you enjoyed before (k, j, or american dramas), i can come up with a more curated list!
this drama is so silly and yet so addictive .)) full of clichés, but it's really cute :)) It reminds me of Itazura na kiss or It Started with a Kiss, as the taiwanese version is titled. I prefer that one to the Japanese, considering acting. It's about a haphazard and clumsy girl who is not the brightest knife in the drawer but she is persistent and madly in love with the class genius who hates stupid people. They move into the same house due to an earthquake destroying her home and he slowly begins to fall in love with her. He becomes a doctor and she follows him to the hospital and becomes a nurse, after much hardship and people constantly telling her she is too stupid for the job. I highly recommend the Taiwanese version of the drama, it's pretty long (2 seasons too), but it's all worth it. Super cute acting by Ariel Lin in the lead lady role and she reminds me of Kamishiraishi Mone in this Japanese drama. :) Joe Cheng is also fantastic in the stoic genius role, just like Takeru here :)
