Gingerbread houses are SO hard to put together!!! 😍😍😍 I haven't done it in years, since my oldest granddaughter was little, but we could never get one to actually STAY together!!! It's a fun activity though and they're good to eat!!! 😁😁😁 The boats look like a lot of fun!!! Thanks for sharing!!! Continued love and health to all from across the pond!!! 💜💜💜
I know they are the most awkward things to stay together.Thats why a few years ago I opted for the already together ones from Aldi (the Christmas ones) and just decorate them as normal X X

I Love it when you are up to your elbows in coookie dough and gingerbread and pprojects with the kids. My nephew and his gf are having a babygirl at the end of January. They have decided to call her Millie. Just wanted to share the good news with you.

I still do one with my son and hes 17 now . I like to keep the same Christmas traditions as long as i can im sure there will come a time when he wont want to do one but for now we will keep doing them x

I am amazed that you are eating them and they taste good! In our country, the gingerbread kits that we have gotten did not taste good at all. Looks like the kids are having fun.

Seeing as Noel has the bakery, have you ever made the large cookie sheets and tried to build a bigger house, with each of the younger kids designing a wall or roof?
Do the kids actually eat the houses at the end of being used as decor or just pick and lick the icing and sweets as they build as normal kids do?
You could make a large salt dough foundation base and attach the walls, with an icing flour walls but let the kids decorate with normal icing and sweets.
Would be a fun activity for the kids but not so practical if the kids are too unruly for it.
All depends on the households.

Lots of fun had by all by the look of it. Maybe it was chilling sitting on the boats- not for them who peddling but for little ones not doing so- those just enjoying the time on the water. All very well behaved together.
Hope you enjoyed the swimming after. That’s always something I enjoy- but every site the pools are different.

My kids are 14 and 16, and they still love decorating gingerbread houses. We get ours from IKEA - best gingerbread kits!

. I've just watched a Scottish family & all the parents do is talk on video whilst the older girls look after the children. I'm gonna stop watching the Sulivans.
Never looked at the Sullivans that way. But I do get tired of hearing the parents talk all the time and show the same ole grocery hauls week after week that are basically always the same things.
My family have stopped watching the Sullivans, WHO needs to vlog daily about their family, use your time more sensibly
They don’t make their older children look after the younger 1s ! . I’m sure you’ll be no great loss to the Sullivans if you stop watching !
