Ernest Wilson - I Know Myself & Version (Disco Mix 7", 197X)

2 tribute uploads of one of my all times favourite roots reggae rhythms: "I Know Myself". Beautiful music recorded in the legendary Channel One Studio (29 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 13) by The Revolutionaries and Ernest "Undying Love" Wilson in 1977. There have been some discussions about the date of this recording, because some labels mark 1974 and some say its 1975, but listening to the song I would place it around 1977.
This is the JA Disco Mix label press, which includes the vocal cut and one instrumental version with vocals coming in and out from the mix. Not really a dub version itself, but a version which allows us to hear the rhythm alone.
