Please pray for me. I have been living in sin for three years now after backsliding a second time. In these three years the Holy Spirit often tried to call me back, but I alwasy chose sin and temporarily pleasures over God. I also often tried to get back to God, but it didn't last long before I fell in sin again. Recently I've been trying to get right with God again, because I see that I can't continue like that forever, but my hard is sooo hardened and I don't think I have the Holy Spirit in me anymore, because I didn't get this conviction from him in over a year or so. I KNOW I'm this backslider, but even this sermon didn't touch me. I don't feel convicted and feel so sluggish. This backsliding didn't only destroyed the spiritual vitality I had, but it also destroyed my relationships to my family and friends. So please pray for me!
I am just like you but I want to share you something I found when I was badly hurt by what's happened to me because even if I tried it was hard to love jesus, to seek him I had repented and trying to pray but I can't feel God, he was too far even sometimes I doubt his existence but one day I realized God is not done with me, because with out him I can't even want to want him he was the one who drawn me near. also I got relief when I read somewhere someone's comment, it's testimony of one backslider and now restored." he say God will never forget about you it's only matter of time you will be restored! while crying out 'how long how long' wait for God's timing!!" I'm doing this now am waiting till God showed up because I have no hope no life no joy no peace without jesus. tell your self God is your only hope. here are some verses assure me that I have to wait. -Isaiah :30 ” 15 This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength. 18 Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion.
I feel your hurt brother/sister (sorry I don't know your gender). I have been the same way as you and many people have, we are all here for you. So how can I, only a human being, be here for you, when our God is far greater than us. I will pray for you. God bless you.

Good word! It is upsetting to see so much of the church reject this type of teaching, there are warnings in Scripture to warn us not to play around with sin, that backsliding is real and very costly, thank you for another word of truth!

I LOVE these sermons! The only bummer is that I struggle to hear them because they are recorded in a way that even when I have the volume all the way up, it's still too quiet. I don't have this issue with other videos, so it has to be their recordings. Thank you PLM for your amazing ministry💜

Steve always pulls back the curtain to reveal the truth. I think of the curtain being pulled back on the movie the wizard of Oz, and the man with the Great and Powerful Voice is shown for what he is. Covered in a corner. My heart breaks for those who believe the lie about themselves that they present.
No, it's no one without repentance will see heaven. Sanctification is what we go through to be saved. Believe and Repent = Justified. Grow in the knowledge of the Lord through His Word, Prayer and the renewing of your mind (renouncing all your sins as God brings them to your mind by His Holy Spirit = Sanctification. Look up, your Redemption draws nigh = Jesus Returns - Redeemed. Heaven bound, Glory to God!!! \😃/ Shalom.

no one without sanctification will see heaven? Sanctification is a process though? So then, what about the theif on the cross?
No, it's no one without repentance will see heaven. Sanctification is what we go through to be saved. Believe and Repent = Justified.
