Yesssss! So much fun shopping in The States (not as fun as Japan, but nowhere is, ha!). America is great for cheap but great vintage clothing, high-end niche fragrance, flea markets, antiques, secondhand books (especially in NYC and SF) and of course really cool interior decor and art if you're into the kitsch macabre aesthetic etc. Los Angeles has FANTASTIC second hand clothing stores/markets and has THE BEST places to buy industry-focused professional make up supplies due to it being the filmmaking capital of the world. If you're really not playing when it comes to exciting cutting edge special effects stuff, products with fantastic pigment, a million varieties of false lashes, glitter, Hi-Def 4K ready foundations and so on then LA is the place to shop. The shop assistants aren't airheaded chavs winging it-- they're bonafide trained make up artists who are so generous with their time and advice. I love holidaying in The States, always a great time. Glad you have a blast dude!

The next time you’re in the states you should try Versed. Especially their cleansing balm and purity gel cleanser. Another great line is the e.l.f hello hydration line is great! Cleansing balm from that line and the moisturizer are amazing.
I loveeeee the cleansing Geleé! So good for a basic cleanser with skin benefits that lasts me for like 5/6 months cuz I only need 1 pump for my face and neck!
I have severely dry skin and the Eucerin one is great!! You will love it.
I love Glow Recipe and Naturium. The Glow recipe guava vitamin and plum plump cream, and Naturium serums are really good

Currently, I use the Naturium cleanser as a 2nd step cleanser at night. I’ve also tried the Peach & Lily kit as well. The only item I didn’t care for was the matcha moisturizer. Since I have combo-oily skin, it was a bit heavy on me. I love Pacifica’s blood orange scent, but I live with someone who is allergic to it. So I can’t buy it. I have Rare Beauty’s compact blush, which is quite pigmented as well. A little goes a long way.

Aquaphor and Eucerin havve been my go-tos for 20 years. Eucerin roughness relief lotion or cream is ideal for keratin pilaris (chicken skin), so much better than physical scrubs.
Hi Tina, try the Mizon cicaluronic cleansing balm (got mine from yesstyle). It is scented though but I’m fine with it and it does the job very well. Smooth sorbet, buttery like texture, nice thoughtful packaging. Comparable to the beauty of joseon one but I prefer this one. Affordable price point too. Cheers!
That naturium cleansing Gelée can be used as a 2-in-1 cleanser to remove makeup and cleanse your skin (according to the brand). I always used it as a 2nd step cleanser. Unfortunately, it caused both me and my partner to breakout unusually. Looking forward to your thoughts on it!
So many fun products. I love all Natrium body washes. Also love Fenty skin tint. First skin tint I have tried that doesn't transfer. Can't wait to hear your reviews on them.

I really like Naturium's body products! Their body washes are so good, especially the Glow Getter one. I'm really interested in trying out their body lotion as well. I used their Niacinamide Cleansing Gelee too, but as it came into winter time, it was making my skin sting :( It worked well for me during the summer though

I wanted to buy so many products when I went back to the States- including the Peach and Lily Snail Mucin but I had so many products waiting for me back home I was like- I'll just not ( ; ; ) Also they recently changed the bag limitations traveling between Japan and the States from 2 free checked bags to only one (THIEVES) so I couldn't buy as much as I wanted to. I use aquaphor as a lip balm. Literally a life saver for somene who has super dry and chapped lips.
The Missha Perfect Cover has arbutin. It kept my age spots faded for YEARS.

I use Aquaphor on my lips at night and it’s AMAZING it’s better than their lip therapy that they sell but I never tried Eucerin, I’ll add to my next target run
I don't like sticky tape on my bottles, either. Goo-be-gone works well to remove it.
Amazon aus have Aquaphor that where I get mine from a fellow Aussie x
You really want the cerave healing ointment, just as one person who's tried both, i reeeeally love the cerave healing ointment and i use it not only on my body but on my lips (dr dray got me on it). The aquaphor is just to me like a basic petrolatum jelly vs. the cerave one has ceremides. They just knock it out of the park with their version of this like petrolatum salve. Hope thats helpful and not too pressurey. :D

please update us on the glycolic acid body wash! I also have "strawberry skin" and I don't like the feel of physical exfoliators so this might be a solution 😃
I use a Eucerin lotion with lactic acid. Recommended by Dr. Dray. It keeps it at bay while not drying my skin out.

I have the same situation with perfume :( i find tho that musky stays the same on me. Kinda hard bc i live in a tropical country and musky and amber scents makes it hard for me to breathe at times. I just want to smell like fresh florals or something lol.

That Naturium's cleansing gelee is supposed to be a second cleanser.
I absolutely love the Naturium AA emulsion. I have redness from mild rosecea on my cheeks and this has really helped calm that for me. I think I have been through at least 10 bottles!!
I wanted to get the Azelaic emulsion too but the Naturium site does not accept international cards... then when I ordered from Amazon the Azelaic can't be shipped to my US forwarding address.

I think you’ll like the niacinamide cleansing gelée! I’d say it’s comparable to the Rovectin gel cleanser. It’s a second step cleanser, and it can be left on for a few minutes and used as a niacinamide mask ✌🏼
Just an FYI olaplex is cheaper at chemist warehouse rather than sephora

Stop me if I’m wrong here, but you came to the US to buy K beauty products? You also need to watch some videos by dermatologists. If you have rough & bumpy skin, you should try Cetaphil Rough & Bumpy Daily Smoothing Moisturizer. Because it contains Urea, which is an Ingredient that helps reduce the bumps.😉
Have you ever tried Azclear 20% azelaic acid? It's available from the chemist in Australia. I'm so jealous because anything above 10% is prescription only in the US.
We have AzClear here but its not the most cosmetically elegant cream it pills all the time 😢

I like the glow recipe toner. Not my favorite. Peach and lilly glass refining serum is alright, again nothing special, didn't blow my mind.

Hello, I have really bad strawberry skin. Its super uncomfortable. I just want to let others know that laser hair removal helped me immensely from the burning and the scaring associated with strawberry skin. If you can get laser hair removal, please do so. It works.
