A few more tips for this spin is to kind of suck in your legs to spin a bit more, and pull your hands in. Also lifting your heel just a bit will allow you to spin on the sweet spot of the blade, (the rocker) which is meant for spinning! Hope this helps, sorry if I didn’t explain if well enough!

Spinning on ice is simmilar to on rollerskates, my first time icesksting i realized i could already do spins lmao

I roller skate, and that's what I taught people when showing them a spin except the straight foot would go back when the right foot when around

my teacher said to do it on toepick idk but I think ur way is better tbh
You can do the initial pivot on the toe pick, but you can't spin on toe picks.

And on that turn, you're standing on the whole surface or on the toe just to be sure ❤
Whole blade all the way, but if you really want you can do the initial circle on the toe pick. After that, no toe pick.

Yes. but if you want to learn to skate you will need to purchase your own pair. You won't make good progress on rental skates.
