- The Tullamore distillery was founded in 1829 in the town of the same name in County Offaly in central Ireland. The name of the whiskey is made up of the town of Tullamore and the initials of the former distillery manager Daniel E. Williams: Tullamore D.E.W.. In the meantime, the distillery had to close for a full 60 years. Until it opened its doors again in 2014, Tullamore Whiskey was distilled at Midleton Distillery in County Cork.

I bought the rum finished and it was the first Tullamore I had experienced. I have since bought the 12 and am really enjoying both. I enjoy all types of whiskey and this Tullamore is now in my rotation!!!
That column still is quite a sight!!!!!
Very good whiskey 🥃
Normally I’ll enjoy Red breast or Black bush if I want good Irish spirits.
A friend suggested Tullamore dew… I quite enjoyed it.
Pleasantly surprised by its flavor and smoothness.👍🥃

If you are in Ireland you need to visit a little village called Ballyvaughen Co. Clare and pay a visit to O Loughlins Whiskey bar. If you want to see proper Irish heritage theres the only place for you to go.
