Thank you. I also own a JUNO-Di so I know what you mean. I've just looked for it but I haven't found a preprogrammed live-set. You can easily create one on your own because you can layer and split up to four different sounds.
Yes, the JUNO-Di has less sounds, but I like the easy interface and it has really great sounds for the price. The JUNO-Gi has more opportunities to split and layer sounds and a few more sounds with more effects. It has a lot of features, it's almost a workstation. I think the JUNO-Di is the live-players friend because of the easy usage. Soon there will be a new demo of the JUNO-Di on my channel.
Bastian Völkel Thanks for the reply! Personally, I'm fond of Nords, but I also like something geared more for live playing than studio work. A buddy of mine bought one of these and I was just curious as to what these things can do, and I've gotta say I'm pretty impressed! On a side note, another buddy of mine was looking at either a Nord Electro 4 and a Roland VR-09, and I was very unimpressed with the VR-09 sounds. Kinda weird how the Juno can sound so much better and yet still costs less than the VR-09... Anyway, thanks again!
Hey they just released a new update for the Di. called patch remain. Now when you change sounds you don't hear glitches or cut offs. Which is very important to me. I gig with mine a lot. And switch a lot on my favorite banks.
Hello - i have a big problem and i can't find the solution on the Gi - how can i switch the function on which shows on the keyboard display which chord or note i am paying. it would be very very useful. many thanks
hello, could somebody help me? This is what I want to do: In my juno-gi, basically I need to change from one tone to another without cutting the sound. I mean.. is it possible that while I`m holding down a key with a sound, I could switch to another kind of sound and keep listening to the first one until I release the key?
The harpsichord is nice, it sounds realistic with the key-off-sampling. I can't tell you about the quality of these samples in contrast to the expansion cards because I don't know them. I can send you an example, if you send me your e-mail.
I live in Europe, ordered several times from the USA Amazon. Everything arrived neat and fine. But I if you're not US don't buy from them expensive stuff, because of the warranty.
I depends on what you really need. If you need a recorder in your keyboard this would be choice. If you just want to have good sounds I would prefer the JUNO-Di.
Lawrence Kennard No it dose NOT have a sequencer, that was stripped out since the Juno G and replaced with only an audio digital recorder.....that's a totally different thing ;-)
$899.00 at amazon. It's a bargain for that money. On the other hands, it is always a bargain. My fist will be this too. I'm really looking forward to it.
Overall one of the best demos i've seen. Great demonstration of what you can do with some of the basic sounds
Serves as the best examples of fine usage of a great synth board ! Great work !
It's 2018 and I still have mine and I still think I don't need need another one. Very very satisfied!!!
Saaaaaaame, I sell alot of keyboards at my current job but none impress me as much as the Juno GI still.
But the acoustic piano sound ain't so good like the Yamaha. Or have you tweaked it?
@@gracegeorgeabraham4725 I use my Roland Juno GI for bass sounds and the electric pianos are beautiful.
Sold mine to buy the FA06, still have the FA06 "BUT BUYING ANOTHER USED JUNO GI. Right! Sounds are timeless ❤

I love the sounds in the Gi. I haven't heard that in the Di.

Thank you. The keys have synth action and a good grip, the velocity is rather suitable for synth-sounds.
Excellent demo and great playing! Can you use adjust the drawbar settings on the organ at 1:05?
KingInky13 Unfortunately not. But you can create a performance with different organ layers adjust the levels.

what about the harpsichord sound? I'm just wondering if it sounds as good as the one on the roland orchestral expansion card i had on my old JV1080?
I already have my Motif xf7.....I want to buy this one for its synth sounds....is the quality in par....

also, is there much diference between the Di and Gi in terms of sound quality? or is it the same?
If i use the digital recorder , i can get this quality sound?
Yes, I used TASCAM US-122L.
Unfortunately not, but you can edit almost everything on the pro-edit page of the live-sets.
Compared to Juno di? Which is better
did the GI hve the looping system ?
hey nice video. How is the keyboard/feeling?
Looping in Juno Gi?
I live in Europe, ordered several times from the USA Amazon. Everything arrived neat and fine. But I if you're not US don't buy from them expensive stuff, because of the warranty.
I love this... im thinking of getting one myself and wanted to know if any1 has one and if its good choice to get.

is this weighted keys?
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Great sounds! Does it have a sequencer?
Thanks! Yes, it has an independent onboard-recorder.
Lawrence Kennard No it dose NOT have a sequencer, that was stripped out since the Juno G and replaced with only an audio digital recorder.....that's a totally different thing ;-)
Cool.
Thanks!
Time for me to relearn piano!
how much should I pay for one of these?
Nowadays you can get one for about $450 in reverb or stores as used gear
can we play atleast 4 or more sounds at the same time?
Leobert Jarina You can layer up to four sounds.
