Hey bro, ive seen a comment in another channel where you said your steering wheel alcantara worn out. How long did you have it on? Do you recommend redone mine without that red ring? How did you cleaned it? Did it wore because of the cleaning solutions you used?
Hey bro The only way you prevent alcantara wear is wearing gloves while driving. I cleaned it with good chemicals every 2 weeks, and so did a friend of mine with the same steering wheel. After 30k km, it will lose the hair structure almost always (without gloves). The red ring wore off much faster due to improper cleaning technique, but if not cleaned will turn black over time. I now have the standard leather steering wheel but with nice carbon bits, looks clean and maintenance free.
@@WhisperTheBand im gonna get it redone with alcantara cover cuz my original leather one (135.000km) is a little worn, but i guess im not gonna get the center ring. If it goes bad im gonna get it redone again and again cuz its relatively cheap
@@catalin.c Are you getting a custom alcantara wheel? If thats the case, i'd recommend getting the side grips in alcantara, the rest in leather. Not sure how you're redoing the alcantara
