Thanks to you Chris I heard and found this excellent aftershave. It is now my favorite aftershave, because the scent is so full of green freshness. Irisch Moos is suited for all seasons, but I enjoy it mostly in cooler seasons. It gives me idea of forest full of pine trees and drink that we Finns enjoy near Christmas: that is glögi. I think it is called Glühwein in Deutsch? I
I have never heard of this. Of course I know Maurer & Wirtz from 4711. This one sounds so right up my street. Chris you always present a wonderful review. I appreciate that. Keep doing it. You are so good at it. Cheers and have a great weekend.
Sir Irish Moos is a part of my 70's childhood, (also in Germany) and my uncle and my father used this flagrance. So thats give me good memories and I love this scent, now I used it to but Brut stay my favorite 70y smell forever. By the way, your german pronunciation is perfect, you must be bilingual growing up I'm sure. Like your revieuws very much, your'e a absolute expert.
Well Im 22 yrs old, and i like this scent(Am i too young?). As it looks like, girls like it too. When i first bought this AS i was looking for the Pino Silvestre.
Nope, thats whyy this juice has survived the test of time. Anything that had PERSONALITY will always be on the winning side, so feel free to wear this with confidence!
I have a question. Do you also like the eau de toilette? I bought once the Sir Irisch Moos Eau de Toilette and I am also in my 20s. I like it, because it is cery special, but unfortunately my personal environment did not like it. They said, I would smell like a old man. To be honest: Sir Irisch Moos does not smell like being young, but that does not make the scent bad. Now I am not using it anymore, but I bought Pino Silvestre.
@@carstensteel7031 Hi, i used to wear EDT for some time but stopped because i use After Shave more (EDT and AS are nearly the same thing in longevity on my skin).. Personally i dont care(80% of the time) what other think any more, speaking from 6yrs older me. I wear Ted Lapidus PH on a dates and many say that this is a GRANDPA scent...just wear what you like and what boosts your mood.
@@tsusec One thing is important: The AS and the EDT smell different (im my eyes, the AS smells a bit fresher). Actually you are right. Why should I care about what other people think about my perfume (In general it is the best to be yourself). But now i think, that Pino Silvestre actually smells better than Sir Irisch Moos (EDT). So I use Pino Silvestre. I just like original stuff and wearing Sir Irisch Moos or Pino Silvestre as a young man is definitely original. Stuff like Paco Rabane One Million or Davidoff Cool Water are just too mainstream. I am also a Person, who likes the "old stuff". Did you ever used Otto Kern Signature Extrême? It is another scent, whick I like and is very reccomendable (at least in my eyes).
+Ben Champion Thanks a million Ben, I received some heat for the style of this review but it was done on purpose in order to try to reflect those times when this was a heavy hitter!
Most welcome Chris and don't let it bother you.. people are always going to complain about something. Keep up the great reviews and keep doing things your way👍
I'm pretty much surprised that a guy with german roots like you, didn't reviewed Tabac Original from Maurer & Wirtz till yet! And it's 2020. Greetings from Greece...
My uncle used to wear an aftershave in the late 70s and it was a fruitful fresh smell loved that sent but never been able to find it so I bought irisch moos waiting for it to be delivered hope this is the one
Hi Richard! Has the Irisch Moos been delivered and is it the old smell of your uncle...? If not, I have some ideas - maybe the Hâttric Classic or Pino Silvestre, both of them were also very popular in the 70ies and they also have a fruity and fresh smell.
Loved this review. I missed picking this when I was in Koln last year , got the 4711 aftershave from their boutique and also Tabac EDC. But I tried this in a mall and liked the mossy tone .. very nice and old school .. I might pick this through a frd this year. Btw subscribed to your channel . Cheers
+JmeJ83 Hi, I get your point however in this vid I did this outfit on purpose because it really reminds me of those times in the strange fashioned 70's. The necklace is actually far from gay as its a Thor's Hammer / Mjölnir which is a Symbol from Viking times and my girlfriend gave it to me as a gift.
I am 33 and I wear this fragrance and it is great, I get many compliments about it...
