It's beautiful and there's really no better word for it. I hope in humanity even hundreds of years from now this melody will be carried on the way we carry on Mozart and Bach today. I've always had a soft spot for metal piano arrangements. The crazy part is that she has probably transcribed this all herself. And she picked all the important notes too. Solos were so well done. Amazing.
Laurence Pinney Look at Mr Fancypants here trying to point out how much he knows about musical theory. I think the point herbal wizard was trying to make is that the song has classical sounding elements. The part that starts about 4 minutes into the song with that amazing bass line and the guitar harmony over the top would not sound out of place in a Beethoven song. The song starts off simply because it is about the simple beginnings of the cosmos, and the swirling back and forth between the A-B-C, C-B-A riffs captures that feeling perfectly, at least in my opinion. Orion is a masterpiece and has been studied and reconstructed by many classical conductors. It is a very sophisticated piece. Pointing out that it is simple in some places does not change that.
